This was my first trip to the Great Australian Bakery, and I was there to pick up lunch for me and my coworkers. We ordered a variety of food (pies, rolls, pastries) and each one of the 5 of us were completely thrilled with the food! The rolls were amazingly flaky and baked perfectly. The pies were savory, but not salty and the filling was absolutely delicious. The pastries were clearly baked with love and tasted amazing. The owner came out while I was waiting to pick up my food and introduced himself and was very friendly. He was genuinely interested in how I was doing and what I was bringing back for everyone to try. There were 2 minor hiccups which is why I was not able to give 5 stars, However the customer service that was provided as follow up turned what could have been a negative into a positive. I would highly recommend The Great Australian Bakery to anyone. Do yourself a favor and grab a sausage roll and order a pint at the bar. You wont regret it.

Sadly, as delicious as the pies look and taste, it would seem the recipe includes quantities of MSG. I swelled up outside and in. Everything! The effects include severe lethargy and muscle cramps. MSG is a dangerous additive. But moreover, truly well -prepared foods neednt depend on cheap additives for their flavour. Sad disappointment.

Its been a while since Ive been to Scottsdale, so today I was asking for local recommendations for breakfast. These guys were highly recommended and they did not disappoint! Great food, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. Ill definitely be back next time Im in town.

My wife is Australian so it was much surprise that we stumbled onto an Australian Bakery in the middle of Arizona. It was such a treat to have lamingtons with a Bundaberg... although we were a bit disappointed that they didnt serve flat whites.

I dont normally go out much, and Im really picky about what I eat. If you like coffee drinks and pastries you might enjoy it. They have a open kitchen and recently built horse shoe bar. The place was clean and spacious

Took them twenty minutes to get us three coffees couldnt remember our orders. They didnt have any cold brew. Didnt know their sizes prices. Only reason this isnt a one star is the coffee was great.

Everyone is friendly, the food is fresh and delicious and the cafe area itself has a fantastic vibe to it. Feels like home away from home with a little Triple J playing in the background.

Pie was so hard it almost broke the plastic knife, lamington was stale and dry. Service wasnt exactly friendly, could pass this place by. Wouldnt recommend.
