Truly the worst experience I have ever had. Ended up having to call head quarters over the manager of this store. Long story, but they did not have in stock my online order. When I drive out of my way, 2 hours later, I am told this. Like its no big deal. Manager stands with a condescending smile on his face and keeps calling my "honey" & "sweetie" he gets uptight when I ask a basic question: why was I not called. Every excuse. I demand a printout showing a refund to my paypal account. Manager stated he "cant". At this point, Im livid, as he keeps smiling and calling me "sweetie". I told him to stop being so condescending, I have a name and gave it to him. Go get my refund slip. He decides that Im "making a scene" (in front of ZERO customers), then screams at me to leave, I dont, then he threatens to call the police. I say, please do. He comes back out, I say, "are they coming?" No. I tell him to go call so I can explain how my money has not been refunded to the police. Then he emotionally freaks, patting his chest, saying "Im a human being!" That he would have given me a "refund", but I would not tell him my name". WHAT?? Yes, I did, HONEY! At this point, I realize he is mentally ill. So, I leave, call Panera headquarters & they about crap when they hear my story. CRAZY. regardless of the 100 apologies I receive from them, along with coupons, I STILL had to file a paypal claim to get my money back. Im telling you, I had to keep pinching myself through this--too unreal. AND I was told that, yes, I should have received a "no stock" call AND the manager was fully capable of refunding my money on the spot. I guess it was a full moon. By the way--the place was empty except for some nice senior citizens playing cards at random tables. Not buying anything. Bet they are raking in the dough. Thats my story "sweeties". TRUE.

Worst experience i have ever had at any Paradise Bakery. I ordered the caprese panino to-go and it came out almost immediately (red flag). What I got were two meager slices of tomato, two pieces of sun-dried tomato, the smallest piece of basil I have ever seen, and the star of the show, a piece of mozzarella that couldnt even cover a quarter of the sandwich if I stretched it. The customer service left much to be desired as well. No greeting upon walking into the establishment, and I had to flag someone down to take my order. Pathetic and pricy; Ive had better food on an airplane.

Vacationing in Scottsdale.... Terrible bakery and cafe! The 2 girls behind the counter continued to talk as I stood there. The other girl was behind the bakery counter and was okay, but not overly friendly. Another young man rang up the order, as I checked the bag. An item was missing so he went to get it as the 2 girls continued talking. When I returned to my room, the order was WRONG and the muffin was hard as a rock. This place may look like Panera Bread, but is nowhere near their service or food quality.

Started working in this area recently. Enjoyed Panera bread from my original state, this is not the same experience. After a couple weeks of never being greeted, treated friendly and spending money I walked out after a representative just walked away from the counter after finishing with the representative ahead of me after I had been waiting for 5 mins. It was 330 no lines and plenty of people standing around. Not worth the insulting experience.

Nice Panera Bread. It has a lot of sitting space and a really nice meeting space that one of my networking groups meets at on a monthly basis. We always have food and beverages from Panera and they are always delicious. Love their coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I try to stay away from the sweets but their breakfast pastries look delicious and are always enjoyed by the other members of my group.

Every time I go here the staff acts really put out to help you. Takes twice as long to get anything ordered. Worst run PB Ive ever been to. Im in Sales and always buying my offices lunch and every time I try to buy from this location I promise to never go back. The others are so much better run then this one. If you want PB, safe yourself the aggravation and go to a different location.

I love the location, the expansive space for meetings and very comfortable to bring your work. The food is excellent and I like how you can self-serve the coffee. Beats Starbucks by miles. It looks like the staff must have been given instructions to be friendlier because the 3 months Ive being going there there is no unfriendly staff to be encountered.

We had a issue and the manager..(Ester I believe ) She listen to us and took care of us. She and one of her staff, both very friendly and professional. You can tell it is a well run restaurant. Clean, food was awesome...great experience. I highly recommend this place.

Slow service and rasied their prices way too high! Just because their food sucked before and now its actually normal like every other bakery doesnt mean they should jack up the price. 10 bucks for a sandwich not. Including a drink or any side not cool!

Great employees and spectacular management. I dont remember the name of the manager that helped me, it started with Gus something, but he was friendly and nice, and if I knew him personally I wouldnt be shy to call him my best friend.

Spent a few days of training in Scottsdale across the street from Panera Bread, so very convenient for lunch. Fresh sandwiches and a great selection of fruit drinks like hibiscus, papaya and green tea. Quick spot for lunch, and good.

Excellent food. The line can move slowly when its busy though. This is a good place to stop for lunch, but the atmosphere is a little lacking to just enjoy a pastry. It definitely feels like a chain, not a neighborhood bakery.

Preferred Paradise. They removed favorite cranberry and blue cheese salad and no 2 percent or whole milk available for coffee or tea. Disappointing changes for me but probably not a big deal for most. Nice rewards.

This place is kind of lost in the other shops in Old Town. I actually didnt want to go in because it didnt have the look, but boy I was happy we did at the end. When we walked in mid-afternoon, it was pretty dead.

Nice place. Free Wi-Fi - which I LOVE. Just got coffee to go. Which is fine. Place is nice at 7:15pm. Quiet with plenty of space. Counter staff was friendly.
