Honey Moon Sweets was the only bakery that had chocolate mocha cake that my husband wanted AND brownie cheesecake and cheesecake brownies (we ended up ordering only the cheesecake) that my son wanted for their joint birthday party. I ordered early but coming in from out of town to visit family I did not know what to expect from the products. The staff was very patient, friendly, and accomodating. Not only were the confections visually spectacular, the flavors were equally superb. The triple layered mocha was filled with mocha mousse between the layers and topped with mocha whipped cream and decorated with a gorgeous and elaborate curled chocolate shavings and fresh fruit 3-D design. The mocha cake was rich yet light and perfectly moist. The cheesecake was beautifully presented in a traditional and classic manner. The cheesecake was moist, creamy, and firm. It had a perfect flavor balance between sweet and cheese. PLUS it was full of delicious chocolate brownie chunks which were heavenly by themselves. Im grateful to have had such a wonderful experience. My gratitude to you Honey Moon Sweets for a job well done! I hope your business prospers!

I asked for a very simple cake for my daughters baptism- all I wanted was a simple yellow cross and to say "Congratulations (daughters name)" I told them I didnt like flowers on cakes, and I didnt want any white chocolate on it, because we dont like the flavor. I was quoted $48. When I went to pick it up, it was covered in goopy frosting flowers, borders, and large white chocolate clumps like a bouquet, plus the sides were coated in it. And it said "Congrats" instead of congratulations because it was so covered in stuff. I thought they were joking at first. I was told the designer had gone home for the day, so there was nothing to be done. They said there would be no additional charge for the "extras". Ya think? I was in a hurry, and didnt receive a receipt for the cake. My husband look at the credit card statement and saw that they charged 63$- a $15 dollar difference. From now on, Ill go elsewhere to get cake. It wasnt that spectacular tasting to have put up with that crap.

My wife and I decided on Honeymoon Sweets for our wedding cake. The cake was actually very tasty. Despite what my wife may think, that wasnt the best part about our decision. The weeks leading up to our wedding day, we made many visits to the bakery, to make sure everything was running smoothly. My father-in-law and I would always accompany the gals in order to take full advantage of the scrumptously sweet treats at the bakery. It consisted of tasting pretty much every item in the case along with a coffee of course. Its been two years of bliss since our big day, and we still pop in to enjoy a taste of heaven. Life is about the journey, and Alissa and girls at Honeymoon Sweets have made our journey totally sweet.

I want to thank Candace for having a chocolate cake available and responding to my panicked email. My sister is a freshman at ASU and tomorrow is her 18th birthday. I couldnt make it there this weekend and even though she is flying home next weekend, it was breaking my heart that she will not have family with her. I was determined to get her the chocolate cake she wanted. Even though Honey Moon Sweets couldnt deliver (my very last minute fault) they had the cake ready for a courier service and my sister just received it. Thank you thank you thank you! I will be sending her sweets from you in the future and looking forward to visiting your bakery in the future.

Stopped in for an afternoon treat. They are tucked in a little strip mall- not super visible from the street. Trust your GPS to get you here. The lady at the counter said she had been working in the shop for 10+ years so she was able to rattle off her favorites, plus all the fillings and toppings they each had. She sold us on a chocolate peanut butter cake and a chocolate macadamia nut cake- I cant remember all the ingredients and fillings, but when someone has listed 5 things you love in a row, you stop listening and order the darn thing. Kinda pricy for treats, but when they are each the size of a baseball, you give in.

IN LOVE with Honey Moon Sweets. BEST cupcakes in AZ! Cakes and cupcakes are so fresh and never dry. They have the best tasting desserts hands down. They have saved me more than once on a last minute birthday cake order. Literally emailed a picture over to Alisa Hoppis and she made sure I had my cake the next day. Excellent Customer service + Amazing Desserts = HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!! Dont let the location or store front fool you. This is a secret hidden gem and you should never judge a book by its cover. Its the contents that matter!

This bakery generously donated five dozen cupcakes for us to use as fundraising. The cupcakes were delicious and well made. When I went in to pick them up, the other cakes and goodies were absolutely beautiful! I also got a tour of the kitchen, it is very clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful, the owners are kind and generous. Huge thank you to this bakery as well as a glowing recommendation to use them for all of your wedding, special occasion or even just a treat. Amazing people, amazing product!

They deserve no stars in my book! I went in today to order a birthday cake 8 days in advance for a simple decorative design that a 5yr old could do in less then 2 mins and the flat out turned me down, and when I asked why they said they didnt have anytime to do the cake they are to backed up! I was floored! I have never ever been to a bakery before in my life who just turns down business like that. They simply just didnt care! Well I know now never to ever recommend this place to anyone!

Not very happy! We made an appointment for a cake tasting in june. Our appointment was today, i called to make sure our tasting was still set. The little girl on the phone said she didnt have us on her list for appointments today. Me and my fiance are not happy!! This was going to be our first cake tasting ever!! My fiance is very sad and very disappointed :-( not happy with honey moon sweets!!!!!!

Honeymoon Sweets did our wedding cake on April 12th 2015 and it was PERFECT! Not only was it delivered on time, it looked fantasic and exactly the way I wanted it (and Im a perfectionist). :) The cake was fresh, the fruit put in it even fresher and the ribbon they put around it held all night! Thank you so much Honeymoon Sweets- great job! Definitely recommended!!

My daughter just moved down to AZ and this is the first year she was not with us for her birthday. We asked Honey Moon Sweets to make and deliver a cake to her. These folks are amazing. Dont be fooled -- its not JUST a bakery for wedding cakes (although they DO have plenty of skill doing those, too) they also make some of the cutest little desserts and treats ever. Tiny tartlets, brownies, cake by the slice, lemon squares, and more. Also, above-decent coffee! You made my day, girls; thank you again!
