Food was OK, really bad fake meat, but that is what my friend had so glad I didnt order it. I had pad Thai and it was OK, size was good though for lunch portion. Service was horrible. We got here early for lunch at 11am and were one of three tables in restaurant and service was slow. Server got angry at us for not knowing the difference between dinner and lunch menus even though both are on the same menu. Got huffy when we changed the order. After we got the food, she did not come back for refills even on water and as the restaurant got busier it became apparent we wouldnt be able to leave either as we couldnt flag someone down to give us their check. My friends had to go stand at the cash register for 10 min to show them how to split a check (how hard is that for a party of 6). She told him she couldnt do it because they were busy so he just kept standing there asking until they decided they werent busy. They also included 20% tip and tried to get a double tip in the bill. Also the free soup they gave isnt very good.

I ate there twice during the course of the Spring 2017 MRS meeting. It is a nice place that is near a lightrail station and the Phoenix convention center. The first time I ordered a bow of Tom Yum soup with mixed seafood. The taste is a little bit lighter than I expected. The second time I ordered the drunken fried rice as I was attracted by the name. This time the rices flavor was perfect but the amount is small considering its price. Averagely, one need to spend $15 for a meal.

I have had a lot of thai food in my day. Its one of my favorite foods in the world actually. This place is definitely not something to get excited about. We ordered the chicken pad thai and it tasted like it was out of the freezer section at the grocery store. It just wasnt very good. The taste was bland and just all around strange, and the peanuts honestly tasted like the smell of cigarettes. Really disappointing and I do not recommend this place!!

So delicious! I ate shrimp pad thai!

That was a spicy experience! I had the Fish Two Ocean, which is fish prepared two ways. One was steamed with hot peppers and a sour sauce, the other was a sweet chili sauce. Very generous portion, could not finish. Kathy got the Red Curry with chicken. Both dishes were good and they have brown rice which we chose. We each had a beer, a Singha and a Phuket. Price before gratuity was 51.37

Between Thai Basil around the corner and his place, we enjoyed the food more so here at Tom Yum. We ordered 5 different dishes and all of them were excellent. The owner, she is a very nice lady and the service was perfect. Waiting on Mango Sticky rice and have no doubt it will be as good as everything else. Will be back next time we are in PHX.

Came here for lunch and was surprised at the very affordable lunch special menu. There was a pretty decent selection of choices at an affordable price. I ordered the green curry (hot) with chicken and it came with a cup of soup, some rice and an egg roll. It came out relatively fast and piping hot. The curry itself was delicious!

As I walked in, the waitress was cleaning a table after a another customer that just left. That customer didnt eat their free soup. When the waitress sat me, she gave me that customers bowl instead of something fresh from the kitchen! How does that waitress know what the previous customer did and didnt do to that soup!?!

Looking for Vietnamese noodles or something Asian after a movie in downtown Phoenix. Came across this spot and tried it out. Park on the street. Friendly owners. Ordered noodles in hot and sour soup. Was spicy and good. Steamed dumplings and bbq chicken were decent. Open on sundays!

I have been going to this restaurant since it opened a few years ago. It is Thai food with some Vietnamese influences, respectfully. The food is good and the staff is friendly. What more could anyone ask? I like their drunken noodles and red curry.

Not a bad little Thai restaurant. The banchan was quite good and the Thai, Vietnamese was al dente, quite tasty and big. The spicy fried squid was not stellar but palatable. Their house specialty dish is the cod but we did not get it this time.

The food is pretty good and the staff is fairly nice. The prices for the lunch special are quite a good value for the serving size and what you get. Also its kind of nice because theres rarely been a time where Ive had to wait for a table.

Food was decent, but we went here on a lunch and it took over an hour and a half to check out. If you go - plan on an extended break or arriving early to order food. We didnt have a problem getting sat, just getting the food and check.

These guys were super friendly, and the food was great! We had the yellow curry which was excellent and one of the soups which was also tasty, and an appetizer of yummy fried potstickers. Service was attentive and prompt.

Careful about your bill. They included 20% tip in my bill for a one person lunch. Never seen this done before during my thousands of restaurant visits in the states over 15+ years. The food is average, therefore 2 star.

The curry was the same flavor and consistency as the soup (way too much coconut milk). Also, as far as drinking water, I had to wait over 30 minutes for a refill, and the whole time, the place was nearly empty. AVOID.

Best Thai food downtown. Great Panang Curry. Only criticism would be inconsistency. Sometimes its great, sometimes its just good. Even on a bad day, though, their food and service are above average. Keep it up.

The food here is on par with the normal expectation of a Thai restaurant in a mostly white downtown area. Probably the most unremarkable Thai food Ive ever eaten. Actually it was downright "ungood"

Food was good, but quite heavy for Thai food. Service was quick and efficient. The main problem is that I ended up feeling sicker than what I ever felt eating street meat in Mexico

I wish there was zero stars. Bad tasting rank meat with uncooked beans and an awful flavor. I love Thai food but this is the worst I have ever had. Avoid avoid avoid.

Authentic! Spicy Basil dish - legit dish after seeing it and tasting it. Pineapple or Hawaiian Fried Rice is great too. Tom Yum soup was pretty good but not outstanding.

This place is really great. It has spicier food when compared to Thai Basil. The thai iced tea is really nice, but youll need a water too if you get above a Thai hot.

Loved the wonder favors of their curries and Tom Yum soup. They have noodle dishes for picky eaters. Pricing is decent. No changing table in the restroom though.

The food was great, service was fast and friendly. It was a really calm atmosphere and they had a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. Would absolutely eat here again!
