On 10/20/2016 I went here to have dinner. I bought the $10 sushi groupon for $20 voucher for regular menu sushi. We order, our food takes some time to get to us but it eventually does(This place was not particularly busy that day.) Eventually we finish our food and wait APROX 17 minutes to get the waitress to notice us so we can leave(we where seated near the entrance so a waitress would head up there to seat other customers, we tried many times to flag our waitress down) We where busy and needed to go so I handed her my card so she could bring back my payment quickly. While that happened, we noticed that she had charged us full price and did not take out the groupon, I confirmed with the app that it had been used however. It took a very long time to get our waitresss attention and when we did, she had no answer for me, she just apologized, we asked for payment to be voided and reran but she advised us she could not do that because the owner was not there to do that. Generally Id rather figure a solution to the matter and just asked for a gift card as I saw they had them and I would come back to use it. She then stated she couldnt do that as well as no one there knew how to use they gift card system(keep in mind this waitress has worked there for a very long time, as long as I started going there around 3 or so years ago) and asked me to come back in a few days(something I could not do as I worked during the weekdays and was gone that weekend). She then just walked away and started serving customers, after about another 15 or so minutes, she came back with a piece of paper, I kid you not, from a notepad with the business name "Ticor Title Insurance" and wrote good for $20 sushi no happy hour. She told me she would let the other staff know and to give it to them and they will take care of me. Well today 11/5/2016 I decided to go back there and place an order so I can use it within a timely fashion. I went inside and was greeted with a very busy waitress who had no clue what I was talking about. I could not place my order without paying out of pocket. Overall I think this is a very bad way to treat customers, How could staff not have the ability to void payment. Yes I do place some blame on myself for just giving the waitress my card, but her excuse of it being to busy and she forgot was not a valid one. Honestly, I dont want to come back. This establishment can keep the money they overcharged me for. I wont be coming back.

Happy Mothers Day 2016. I googled this restaurant and viewed their website prior to going there. I looked at their facebook page. I read reviews and watched pictures of food samples and what the restaurant looks like inside. The pictures are possibly from when the restaurant first opened. It does not look that anymore. It is dark, cluttered, nasty looking, and smells bad. There is no air circulation. Your membranes are clogged by the smells of burnt food, burnt oil, and grease. The smell remained in my clothing and purse. When I got home and reach into my purse to get my reading glasses, the smell hit me in my face. We drove in from Chandler and arrived at the restaurant close to 2pm. We were seated immediately. I was not able to sit in my seat, because there were rice grains and food debris on the seat. I asked the waitress, if she can please clean off the seat. She said, sure, and with a towel, she brushed the rice grains and debris onto the floor. Which caused me to look at the floor. The floor was nasty with food debris and droppings, all around my seat and table, and as far as my eyes can see. My husband asked me, "honey would you like to leave"? We should have left, but we drove far. I thought, well, they say "dirty dives are sometimes the best places for delicious food." Wrong. The restaurants lighting is very dim almost dark. I reached for the menu. It was sticky to the touch. I tried to lift the menu off the table. The menu was stuck to the table. The table tops are wood and very sticky and dirty. The table tops are carved on by people, carved into with knives, like graffiti. I asked the waitress for some napkins, so I can use them to cover the table, as a place setting. We ordered five items off the menu, spicy seafood soup, teriyaki bowl, cucumber salad, (4) wings plain, shrimp tempura, and deep fried dumplings. None of these dishes had any taste. The cucumber salad was limp and soggy. Our waitress was very nice and polite. She has nothing to do with anything describe above. We tipped appropriately.

BAD EXPERIENCE EVER! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME EATING HERE!! BAD SERVICE, bad food. So I just came home from there(7/23/17 around 7:30PM) , and it was with the family, cause we wanted to try something new for dinner . And the service was really bad , had to wait like 10 minutes just to get seated . And the night shift waitress , cant even understand what were we tryna order, and was giving us a lot of attitude. And When we got our food , it only like 2 peaces of BBQ , for$ 25 ????? And it wasnt even good at all, and what pisses us more is when she charge us 47,23 for 2 items and a 2 side of rice , and a soda. And the price we got for all that was only bout $36. NOT 47!!! And top of that, she was forcing us to give her 50% tip and we said "NO" and why when we didnt get NO good service ???? And at the end she still forced us and ended up changing the price to $54, and didnt give us no receipt or anything and plus we SAID NOOO TO tip but we ended up checking my chase acc and it said charge $54 something at that nasty Korean BBQ restaurant.. its totally not worth it !! It will be first and last eating here ! Im gonna file a report! This cant be ! She didnt have a permission to take that tip away from us ! Noo wayyy Jose, Goodluck to you and hope karmas hits you bad !!!

I want to give this place an honest chance. But after going there for a date night with my boyfriend, for the amount of money we spent we were pretty disappointed with the service. We ordered gyoza, sushi, and eggs rolls for our appetizers. The gyoza was amazing especially with the sauce. The egg rolls were ok, the vegetarian sushi was good too. So then we ordered Ramen, Korean BBQ spicy chicken and sweet and sour pork. The pork was phenomenal, but the spicy chicken took forever and when it came out it was towards the end of our meal. The Ramen was over cooked, the egg completely hard, it was if they just let it sit there, it had this strange odor to it. When we finally flagged the waitress down, it wasnt that busy and we saw another waitress who seemed more concerned about us then ours did. They only took one Ramen off the check, even though they were both horrible. I wanted to give this place a chance because it shows promise, but the service was non existent. I can understand if they were short staffed, and super busy, there were maybe 5 other tables, so my first impression of this place wasnt too great. Just my honest opinion
