Ate at this location about 3 weeks ago and only now came around to write a review, my apologies. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the staff is polite. We ordered the 3 person course meal which cost close to $120. The amount of food you receive is unbelievable, so in theory you would think its reasonable. Before ordering we expressed our concerns to the waiter that we wanted to enjoy the marinated meat but that we wanted to avoid any spicy food and since it was our first time eating Korean food, we would appreciate his time to explain things to us. The waiter was a bit unclear in his explanations and when asked to repeat seamed to rush through some non-spicy meat choices. The course includes 15 small appetizer dishes. When they arrived we asked the waiter about whether the appetizers were spicy he said yes and so we had to send back about half of the plates. (You may be wondering why go to a Korean restaurant then? Well not everything is spicy, and we had heard great things about Korean BBQ, we wanted to try) My question is why we were not told about this before ordering? At this point it was too late to cancel. The meat was brought out and were quite disappoinited with the quality of the cuts of meat. For the price the quality was unreasonable, though we could tell they were trying to make up for that with quantity. Honestly, buying 3 pounds of top sirloin steak would have been more reasonable than the thinly sliced skirted beef, and fatty Kalbi. The meat tasted fine but the price was unjustifiable. In addition the course brought drinks that included wine, beer, sochu or soda drinks. It is not well explained in the menu and we had to have a full discussion with our waiter to figure out the drink situation. Everyone at the table had to order the same thing, we were not allowed to get beer, sochu, and a fountain drink for instance. The table had to share a large bottle of beer, sochu, wine or everyone could get their own fountain drink. Service was quite slow and in addition when the waiter came to us, he seemed to rush through our questions often leaving us before we were even finished asking him questions. In the end, the waiter apologized for the service and revealed to us that he had been scolded by his boss for taking too long at our table at the beginning of the evening. I thought that was completely unfair and unprofessional. Especially since we told the host staff that it was our first time and that we were looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately it was full of inconveniences and high cost for poor customer service and quality of food. I recommend the restaurant consider revising their menu for higher quality meats even if they must lower the quantity if they will continue with such prices. I also recommend the restaurant properly train their staff to handle not only business clients, but to handle new clients of other cultures. I have seen Korea is a beautiful country with kind people, but I felt we were not being treated as well as other Korean guests. I hope to be able to revisit someday.

Been going to this restaurant for 7 years. It has always been OK. Not outstanding but nothing really wrong. Average service, average food and average price. There were definitely better Korean restaurants, however they are all out of business. About two months ago, I went there and decided to try something from their Sushi bar. My husband and I ordered Salmon Salad. As you can see from the picture, they put some really nasty looking avocado in the salad. So I called the waitress and she took it to the chef. She came back in about 3 minutes, with the same plate and told us:"Chef said its fine, it is not bad, and he ate a piece in front of me, you should eat a piece too. It doesnt taste bad" I was shocked. I used to work in restaurants and run the kitchen. No chef will eat food from customers plate and then return it to the customers. I am not even going to talk about how you shouldnt serve black avocado and tell your customers to eat it. I grabbed that girl back and told her she did not do anything wrong, but the answer is not acceptable. I need to talk to their manager. She said the sushi chef is the manager. If I am not happy, they can give me 20% off on the salmon salad. I told her to leave, and I will pay for the full amount. There were 4 Japanese ladies sitting next to our table, and they said it is shocking that in sushi, you see such bad ingredients. I found out that they took the salad off my check. When I told the front desk lady about what happened, she said the sushi chef is not the manager. And I told her to make sure that she needs to tell the owner, she didnt really care. Two pictures, one is before the plate was sent to the chef, one is after it was returned to me. I still gave them 2 stars because this is the first time something this bad happened over the past 7 years. However, I will not go back there again. If this is how they are going to run the restaurant from now on, I dont recommend anyone to go back and be told to eat black avocado.

SO happy to have tried this wondrous plaaaaace! Its in kind of a weird strip-mall-y, industrial no mans land, but fear not! The gentrification has begun with the erection (heh) of some hip new apartments. Id never had Korean food before, with the exception of kimchee which is exactly the kind of stinky spicy salty thing I tend to love. So I was hoping for more wonderful stinky spicy salty things and that is exactly what I got, and so much more. We came at lunch and didnt do bbq, but ended up with plenty of reasonably priced meat/protein regardless. Each of us got different soups, both enormous and delicious. 8 dollars, and included rice and UNLIMITED sides! These were the best things ever. Fishcakes, chunky beef with mushrooms, sweet radish, potato salad, kimchee, sesame seed broccoli, potato salad thing, marinated cucumber thing, crispy seaweed. Theyre tiny, but yes. Unlimited. Our waitress, who was lovely and talkative and clearly didnt hate being there, didnt even judge me for ordering 7 rounds of kimchee. Service was attentive without being remotely overbearing. Everything was so on point. This would be an amazing date spot, especially if youre the kind of couple who is okay with sometimes coming home and chastely cuddling, rolling around on your backs like puppies, and massaging one anothers full tummies rather than engaging in sweaty labor-intensive post-meat meal coitus. Sometimes that is true intimacy, and Seoul BBQ can take you there.

This is the best Korean food you can find in the states! Very few establishments pay for the safety features that you need in the US for the authentic tabletop grill (too bad they dont use charcoal like Korea) on your table! Everything is amazing here and authentic too. Takes me back to my AF days! Soju, shikye, all the bunchan (side dishes) and sauces. I cant wait till my H-Mart supplies run out and I need to make the hour and half trip back to town. Ill be stopping here for sure! Haha, initially I was so excited that my review completely omitted the best part! The delicious main courses! I had sam gyup sal (unsmoked pork belly mmm... delicious pork fat!) my guest couple had bulgolgi and kalbi and my other guest had yukejang soup. I also had the naeng-myeon appetizer! We must have ordered enough food for 8-10 people! (Hint: One order of meat is good for at least two-three people with all the sides they offer!) All said and done the price was still very reasonable considering the decor, cleanliness, service and of course quality and quantity of food! There are a ton of Korean places in Denver and Aurora so when we were walking out of M-Mart (the other side of the strip mall) we asked an older Korean lady what the best kalbi and bulgolgi restaurant in town was. She pointed us right down here! (Or maybe one of the 2 restaurants before it, but we chose this one!)
