I will not be going back here ever again. I ordered for pick up. 15 minutes later Im standing in the tiny run down dining room waiting at the register to be helped. While standing there I see several tubs filled with what looked like frozen breaded chicken. (Likely for sweet and sour chicken). These tubs are just sitting on the floor. As a previous food service worker ik this is a health code violation, everything is supposed to be stored/kept on racks at least 6in from the ground. The really bad part was when one of the workers started moving these tubs into the walk in refrigerator he picked up several pieces OFF THE GROUND and placed them back in the tub. After getting the first tub in the walk in an coming back out he noticed I was standing there. So fully aware a customer was within eye sight he proceeded to pick up more food that had been dropped on the floor and back in the tubs they go. A total of at least 5 pieces that had fallen on the floor contaminated mixed back into these tubs filled with chicken that somebody will eventually pay to eat. Im extremely discussed to know that if they did that without hesitation while a customer stands right there watching I dont want to imagine what else goes on unnoticed. Unfortunately for this establishment I am an avid Chinese cuisine lover. I need who will not be supporting their business any further.

Just went to Mr Cooks. Horrible service. Gal too busy on her cell phone. Stood there and ignored me for a couple minutes. When my food was ready she just plopped it on the counter and didnt say a word. I had to figure it out for myself. Now that I am eating the food at work it is substandard. The price they quote on line is not what I paid. I paid quite a lot more. The egg roll was extremely small and greasy, no flavor. The chicken lo mein is just ok. And hardly any chicken. I paid quite alot for just a bunch of noodles. I will never return and will pass the message along to everyone I know. I cant believe they have so many good reviews. Must be left by the owners or something. Also they did not even give me a fork.

My daughter placed an order for me and arranged for delivery....since she lives in Gilbert she was depending upon reviews about Mr. Cooks.....I recieved a text from Grubhub telling me when to expect delivery, the delivery man was 15 minutes early, a very polite young man delivered the order, concerned because my daughter had relayed thatbis was ill. The food was excellent, i had the hot and sour soup...it was delicious, I would have to day the best hot and sour soup I have had since moving to Phoenix 26 years ago, the fried wonton also great, the fried rice with shrimp......what can I say, I would definately order from or go to Mr. Cooks again. If you havent tried them yet I gave them 5 stars.....I will go back

OK, so, I hate to say it but this is the best Chinese food in Phoenix, hands down. Im from NY and this place, once I found it, is it. I probably past 10 or more Chinese food places to get here but its so worth it. The BBQ spare ribs are the best and they have pork fried rice and its not weird. They even deliver and although Im pretty far from them they only add like $2 to get to me and to me thats just great service. Oh and they have specials and they are good in store or delivery, just ask cause you spend a certain amount and you get something. I know I usually get a free 2 liter for what I spend.

The woman who took my order was very rude. I ordered $50 worth of food and wanted orange beef without breading and rice noodles (gluten free). She said it would not be breaded. When it was delivered the driver said to check the order because they had a problem understanding the order. I thought it looked fine but the orange sauce was really thick. We noticed the meat was breaded. When I called back she said she would not correct it and if I didnt like it then dont buy food from the restaurant anymore while accusing me of trying to get free food. I will never order from them again.

I ordered a lunch special - Orange chicken, I asked if they could serve me Lo Mien instead of rice and they had no issue subing I also got egg drop soup with my meal. Everything came to me piping hot! The soup wasnt bad but I was not blown away by it. The orange chicken sauce was fantastic but the chicken was not fried hard and became mushy. They used very large pieces of chicken and I think that may have been the problem. The Lo Mien was the best part of the meal but still only average. Drink are offered in cans not a soda fountain but they are ice cold.

Terrible! Our food was greasy with NO FLAVOR AT ALL. I love the egg foo young but ordered from here its no good! Tastes like its filled with water and under cooked. Gravy for the foo young tasted like it came out of a can. My kids are not very picky when it comes to Asian cuisine but even they passed on this expensive meal. I cooked a decent meal and gave the rest of out untouched food to a homeless couple.

I will never order from here again. This place is horrible and they lie to you. I had to call twice and Never got my food. They kept saying it was on its way and then the last call they said the drive called me and I never received a single call or vm. I was at work and waited for three hours until I finally had to just go get food from somewhere else bc I was shaking and had a headache.

Not a great place to dine in but delivery is fast via GrubHub and food is delicious although greasy its so worth theChinese food day after "hangover"... The portions are fantastic, service at the restaurant itself, behind the counter is great. Have ordered many times and picked up take out many times over the last two years or so and its always consistently fantastic... every dish

This place has really degraded. We used to order from here almost once a week, about 10 months ago, but the consistency of the food started to slip. Tonight, I ordered the same thing as every other time but my wife, who is pregnant, almost took a bite of the staple, in her rice. Glad she noticed it first! We tried to give you another chance, but this is it.

Finally! A place that has a real portion of meat in their wontons!! And great s&s pork and chicken and broccoli too! Ive been looking for a place like back home that does their chicken/beef and broccoli in brown sauce. They nail it too! Delivery was so hot, we had to wait to cool it down and the driver even offered up our package we missed on the way in.

Mr. Cooks is awesome, we had no idea, but they forgot to include an item on our delivery. We just assumed that we had forgot to click it. 20 mins after we got our delivery, the door bell rang and they handed me our missing item! I looked at the poor guy like he was crazy because I didnt realize it was missing to begin with. What a great company!
