I ordered take out from the "traditional Chinese" menu (yes they have 2 menus). I ordered the seafood tofu soup and a beef rice noodle "chow fun". The seafood tofu soup was blend and seemed old - there were only shrimp, tofu and some fish. The fish broke up as soon as you picked it up with a spoon! Other places would at least include fish maw and other ingredients. I feel New Hong Kong restaurant had been cheap on this dish. The beef rice noodle looked pale at first. These noodles are normally stir fried with dark soy sauce - DARK! Its supposed to have a mild brown color rather than a pale brown color. And when I ate it, it was very greasy/oily. I placed my napkin on the dish and my napkin had oil stains. I also could count the number of beef that was served (less than 7 medium slices). This dish was very blend and lacked beef flavor. They must had cooked the noodles separately (which is fine) but left them in the fridge for long periods of time. I dont recommend this place to anyone.

One of the worst chinese food places Ive been to. Had trouble finding a table to sit at that didnt need clearing from food. From the look of the floors, I wouldnt be surprised if they just wipe the tables off straight onto the floor. Food was incredibly mediocre. I thought I would give the place a second shot a few days later, in case that they just had a bad day with the food, but it was just as bad, and the cashier yelled at me on my way out of the door that I had not paid. After showing her my receipt that I did in fact pay, she showed no remorse in her accusal. Fits the "dont give a ***" attitude I saw on my first visit. Never coming back.

We are very picky in food (well...as we are originally from Asia). However, New Hong Kong restaurant is a place that IMPRESSED me!!! Their dishes are those I am not able to create at home--the very authentic southern-style Chinese food which I know may take hours to cook. I highly recommend this place to my friends--none of them got disappointed! PS. Order the "Plum juice pork," "Fried Shrimp," "Daily Soup" Ordered dishes are always better than buffet.

The food is really good. I ordered vegetable dishes so I dont know how their meat is but the vegetables were awesome. The portions are big, i think it would serve 4 people if you ordered 3 plates and dont eat that much. We came on Saturday so they dont offer buffet on the weekend. It wasnt to packed and they attend you right away. Not to many drink options but I drink water so its not a big deal for me.

They have the best won ton noodle soup for years in the AZ . the won tons have meat and shrimp inside the wrapper. the broth is good and not too salty. price is definitely afforadable too. street parking is hard to find and there is no parking lot.

This place is AMAZING - probably the best Chinese food in AZ - try the salt and pepper pork, fried chicken wings, and the honey walnut shrimp - the place is old and run down but the food is really good

Need to clean carpets. Nice people. Fast service. Quiet. Should not leave food in sream tables after buffet is over. Doesnt look good. Beef was very tender. Front door needs a make over.

Lunch buffet for $5.99, has a decent selection of items and its good and hot. Service is adequate. Overall its a great little place to try right off the Biltmore!
