Everything our family ordered was fantastic. We had cinnamon pancakes with drizzle and chopped walnuts (We would return just for those!), Belgian waffles (cooked perfectly, not too hard or soft), buttermilk pancakes (tasted great, did not taste like something else previously cooked on the griddle like other places), chocolate chip pancakes (kids pancakes were as big as adult pancakes, my daughter loved them), french toast (nice thick bread, but still soft and yummy), bacon (cooked to perfection, with little fat - so good (wish I could have more right now :-) ), eggs (ordered them over medium and they were actually over medium), potato soup (creamy, cheesy goodness full of potatoes, sprinkled generously with real bacon), BLT (stacked high with their wonderful bacon, could not have been better), and corned beef hash (crispy and the lack of heavy grease made it perfect, best I have ever had). Coffee was great (a medium blend). And, the service, from Derek, a nice, soft spoken southern gentleman with Sinatra charm, was great. The prices are comparable to any Dennys or IHOP, but youll never get the portions or quality of this cafe!

The food is really good, and the Service is ..okay. This this why they get two stars. However I wish I could place a pick-up order and it actually be correct. I dont mean missing a egg, or a side of ham. No, Im talking ordering a Carnitas skillet to get everything but the Carnitas! ...several times!!! They are always eager to correct their mistakes of course at the cost of my additional time wasted. Ive question myself why I go back when I have nothing but issues nearly every time; 9 times out of 10. I have to say its because its conveniently located near my apartment. Thats it! Maybe I should start liking McDonalds breakfast, or go out of my way to opt for Cracker Barrel to avoid the inconvenience. They actually know my name at this locating because they have screwed-up so much. Oh, but I did receive a card for a free meal on my NEXT VISIT..smh.

Service was friendly, and the hostess sat us in the corner room, which made me happy, since the big open middle room would have made me feel uncomfortable. The coffee was really tasty, we were provided a carafe, and non-dairy flavored creamer (which is a deal maker for me). Food came out surprisingly quickly. I was allowed to substitute my potatoes for a half order of the banana nutella crepes for the same price as subbing for fruit. The hollandaise sauce seemed real, rather than powdered. The crepes were a little light on the toppings, proportionally, but not awful. Overall cost was about 38 dollars for two adults and a child, which I found reasonable for the quality and service. If I find myself in Mesa, I will come to this restaurant again.

Ive been here twice now, and both times this place has been amazing. The first time was a few years years ago when I went and had a quiet breakfast by myself. Since then Ive wanted to take my wife there. We went on a weekend late morning and it was very busy, luckily since it was just 2 of us we were seated right away. This visit I had the French toast, which was AMAZING. Omg, the slices were ginormous, and their batter is magical. So filling I couldnt even finish half of it. My wife had the Turkey Bacon Melt, which she really liked. The flavouring in the mayo was very subtle, which made her pickiness very happy. Service was excellent, the bathrooms were nice and clean. This is definitely in my top 5 breakfast places

CRACKERS is a good breakfast destination- decor is pleasant, although the environment is noisy. The breakfast menu is on the expensive side, and any modification/substitution financially penalizes the patron. If you want Turkey sausage or bacon, forget it- you cant get it here. Eggs and pork sausage were fresh and had good flavor. Pancakes were very light and fluffy and adequate portions. Speed of service was about right. Four stars for rigid, inflexible menu and lack of turkey sausage and bacon alternatives for those attempting to avoid the issues with pork, but desire the flavor with eggs. Otherwise, Crackers lwukd have gotten five stars.

Fast service, huge portions, great food. Walked in Sunday at noon, it was busy, but we were seated immediately. The breakfast potatoes were terrific, lots of crunchy edges. Biscuits and gravy were the best. Derek was a the perfect server, anticipated our every need, which worked out well since we had limited time. He even sent us on our way with to go drinks. Glad we found this hidden jewel!

This is one of my all time favorites. I love their breakfast entrees, their soup & sandwich lunchtime combos, and their award winning blackberry brandied bread pudding. That is the best ever! And if youre dining fantasies include being served by Hugh Jackman, then make sure to ask for Travis section. Yeah, hes a little shorter than Wolverine, but he looks and sounds strikingly similar.

Got the euro crepes with strawberries and the Angus Benny. The crepes were perfectly made and the whipped cream was clearly house made and amazing. The Angus Benny had a green chili hollandaise which was like nothing Ive ever eaten and even the country potatoes were sliced in a unique way... Its like theyve made an art out of plain old breakfast. True culinary mastery!

Needs polish, the food and service were excellent however they have Wi-Fi but dont hand out the code, they cant make coffee from espresso (so no cappuccino etc.) and the decor, table wear and plastic plants are straight out of the 60s and not in a good way. If the owner would invest a little money this place could be brilliant. Californian Benedict is my recommendation.

The wait staff is such a well oiled machine here. I didnt see one unhappy or slacking person. Everyone was smiling and upbeat. Ty was our server this morning and he was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The food was really good too, I had a skittlet and the portion was huge! Its going to make a really good snack later. Super busy but wasnt disappointed at all.

I love this place. My family have been going to both Crackers in Mesa for years, but if they changed their coffee brand that is going to stop. Why change your coffee?. To save a few bucks. You will lose more from losing customers. Just my two cents. Ok, after trying the new coffee, its not bad. I shouldnt have jumped to conclusions. Still great place to eat.

The food is wonderful! The staff is polite and attentive, its very clean and nicely decorated. The French toast is huge and oh so delicious! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the fact there was a party of about 7-8 people next to us with unruly kids and parents on cell phones just not paying attention. Otherwise the place is great!!

The biggest problem with this place is you wont know what to order. It all sounds so good and it is. Never been disappointed eating here. My sugarholic friends will dive into eagles or their delicious blintzes whereas Ive been known to have a great low carb meal here too (try the pulled pork omelette). Even their standard fare is incredible.

First time visiting this eatery. I am blown away! Amazing service from Eric, the food was delicious, and the prices are beyond reasonable! Went here for a breakfast date, and could not be more pleased. The ambiance is lovely and the food and service is by far some of the best I have ever received. Again big thanks to our server, Eric!
