I go online and find this place as a local bakery. On their website it states you can order from their orders. So he puts the phone down but not on hold so I can hear the lady in the background sounding frustrated and complaining about having to many orders already. So he tells me no, I explain that they advertise that they do orders he said well yea but its almost Thanksgiving and what u wanted is to much. Ask if there is anything else I said no just wanted that. False advertising always is upsetting, I already had called before to make sure they would have what I wanted, also made sure that I could put my order in closer to the day so it was really fresh. Yea well I guess there is a limit on them following what they advertise. Just wanted to share one of my mothers favorite dishes with my new family and my fiance. With mother gone we only have memories to keep us thankful on the holidays.

Just ate here for the first time. Very pleasant atmosphere and wonderful staff. Im so happy to learn that theres a cute little bakery like this minutes away from my house. Food was delicious and as they told me everything was fresh. Had the chicken salad sandwich. Highly recommended. Im excited to go back and try some of their breads they bake. I was offered a piece of bread while I waited, I chose pumpkin, it was moist and very flavorful. Before I left the gentleman who helped me gave me a fresh scone on the house. It was an unexpected, very appreciated gesture of hospitality. I was actually planning on trying one, and while I havent tried it yet it looks amazing and I will definitely be going back. Most importantly I loved how the staff made me feel very welcome, havent felt that a lot in the food industry as of late. Makes a world of difference. You should stop in.

I found this place on a deal website, and Im glad I did. This is a family owned bakery that seems to have good, simple ingredients. The owner was very patient with me as I asked about the different selections. The food was very good and a great value. Each sandwich comes with a drink, bag of chips, pickle, and mini cookie. We bought a sandwich, several types of dessert and several types of bread. All were very good. A couple notes about the sweets: n the lemon bar was very good, but it is the kind that is mostly the crust, with a thin layer of lemon. The cinnamon rolls were good, but my least favorite. Seemed to be made out of a biscuit for material. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I was dissapointed in this bakery. I have bought the bread several times and have always been pleased, so I ordered my daughters 3rd birthday cake from them. Boy was I shocked when I picked it up. The decorating was far from what I expected. They obviously are not skilled in this area. I took the cake because I didnt want to hurt the ladies feeling plus I needed a cake in a couple of hours. Guest at the party were as shocked as I was. However, it did make for a good laugh at the party. The cake was also very dry. I do not recommend this bakery if you need a cake. Thank goodness it wasnt a wedding cake, that would be a disaster!

This is a GEM in Mesa. Went in with my four small kids. Immediately offered them free sugar cookies, and I mean thick, soft, frosted delicious sugar cookies! I bought a german cream pie, raspberry cinnamon roll, macaroons, banana cream pie, and bread. Everything was amazing, better than homemade! I worked in the bakery industry for five years and currently own my own food business so I am very picky. This was truly the best spot we have found in the two years we have lived in Arizona!!! Great customer service, top notch products, you cant go wrong here!

I sought this place out after eating a cake made by them at a baby shower. I was very impressed with the cake and the lady that ordered it said they just recently reopened after a remodel. I would eat at this bakery everyday if it wasnt so far. The bread is delicious and their lunch menu has so many options and everything sounded so good. The only annoying part was they were sold out completely of the bread I wanted but they told me they would special order a loaf for me anytime at no exra cost. Definately worth checking out!

I remember eating here back in the 90s when the owners first opened this place. And just like back then, everything about this place is wonderful. The people are always more then happy to help. Very nice family atmosphere, and the best place to get a great sandwich, tasty sweet treat, and a great homemade, fresh from scatch loaf of bread or pie. Thank you "Bread Basket and Pies" for coming back again to make the best, and my favorite foods and so much more.

Sandwiches were great. Bread is all natural! No preservatives. No dairy unless you get the cheese bread. Service was great! Only bothered me that if they are trying to be healthy. The should have Non-GMO chips. Or even baked chips. With more non-carbonated drinks like green tea. None of those Coke products with high fructose corn syrup!

The bread itself is the best Ive ever had... Turn that into a sandwich and WOW! Every single thing Ive had here tastes as fresh and real as it is. The customer service is also wonderful and that makes me happy to spend my money here. Highly recommended!!

Great owners, great food. We tried the cuz salad, veggie and ham &turkey club as well as oatmeal, on and oatmeal c.f. cookies. Everything was amazing! Definitely give this place a try now! Fyi they are closed on Sunday but are open mon-sat 7-5

Extremely good bread. Probably the best Ive ever had. I had the cranberry turkey melt and it was fantastic. You can taste the butter in the cookies so they are really rich but really good. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

The sandwiches are great. I loved the prices and the food. Great lunch place! My wife also got some cinnamon rolls that were awesome! We also got a banana cream pie for thanksgiving that was amazing!

These are the original owners from years back decades ago! They take a lot of pride in the business. Delicious food. Bread is made with simple ingredients, but it is pricey! Around $6 a loaf.
