Wincos horrible customer service far outweighs their low prices. I Purchased a 12 piece baked chicken and the price on the sign was $5.98 when I checked out it rang up at $7.98. I went to the customer service to get a refund of the difference. The young lady behind the counter was rude and irritated with me for wanting to get the correct price. She paged the deli department and they didnt call back she waited at least 5 minutes for them to respond. Then she begrudgingly went back to the deli and was back there for over 15 minutes talking with them. She came back and said that $7.98 is the price in the computer so that is what the price is. I ask her why they advertise it for less on their sign at the deli counter. She told me if I have a problem with it that I will have to go back to the deli and "negotiate" with them. I politely told her of my disgust with their response and unwillingness to correct their mistake and informed her that they should at least change the price on the sign to be correct. I also let her know that I would not be spending my money at Winco any more. ( I had my children with me and was extremely polite and courteous to the service rep as not to set a bad example in front of them.)

I have no idea where the people went who had a bad experience, because every time I go to winco, the customer service is great. its got great fresh food, at amazing prices. the fact that they dont take credit is not a big deal, if youre living off your credit card, go to Wal-Mart. I love that the lines are fast, and that you bag your own items. One time I left my debit card at home, and they let me leave my groceries, run home to get it, and come back, I then dropped my card on the way out, and some nice person gave it to them, and they were so kind about my absent mindedness. I think its a great place to shop, if youre independent enough to not need people to hold your hand as you shop. Also, you get back what you put out into the world, so if youre being difficult and rude, you deserve that back. Lastly, these are flawed human beings, they will have bad days, instead of complaining about their less than cheerful attitude, maybe give them a smile and help make their day better?

Ive been there quite a few times now, (we do love how they have certain things in bulk, that walmart doesnt) However, Almost everytime we go to check out, we have terrible customer service. We are on wic, and the cashiers dont know how to do that quite well, nor do they have answers as to why in the isle it says, WIC approved, and yet when it goes to be rung up, its denied..And, one time we got a money order, and ill tell you right now, well wait in that long hellish line at walmart before going back there for a money order. She treated us terrible. Asking us 1 time what the amount was, then when we told her it was wrong, she acted like, it was our fault. Then we finally got the number right with her, but for her to verify, she asked us, literally, 3 times, in a row, so this is the right amount? And, each time, we sat there, and said, YES! That was the last straw for us and we havent been back since.

I have to say everyone says their prices are great. Woopdy freaking doo!!! The customer service sucks. Finding things Im the store sucks, it is way unorganized. I may have spent less at the store but they dont take credit cards, which is stupid, our world is ran on credit now days. So I had to use a debit card. Which then wouldnt scan cuz I hardly use it. They refused to manually enter my card "against company policy" so I go to their atm knowing now I get charged a atm fee. But it wont scan my card either. So I saved some money at the store but then had to drive to my bank and get cash at their atm that worked!!!!! Then drive back where my groceries were left out uncooled and pay for my food. Lets just say I wont be going their EVER again. Not worth the bull..... I would rather pay more at harmons and enjoy the experience.

Best store in the area. Has the best balance of everything I want in a super market. Much lower prices than costco or any super market, especially if youre willing to wait for your favorite item to go on sale, which it invariably will, and at much lower rates than you will ever see anywhere else. Ive always been fascinated by how much more people are willing to pay for a pretty store like Smith or Harmons. If you enjoy paying full price at a place like Nordstroms this is not store for you. These guys know exactly where to save you money, while still giving you a pleasant experience. I love it.

Me and my family used to go there all the time that is until I tried to take my service dog with me to the place and had a very terrible experience with them threatening to call the cops on me though I had paperwork and his certification card with me they have a good concept for a store they have terrible employees especially ones claiming to be managers and if you do end up going steer clear of MOALA especially if you have any types of disabilities she likes to make fun of those and clean that they are made up and then turn around and claimed to be in management

Produce isnt the best, but acceptable. Bulk section is fun, fresh honey, candy, etc. Their prices make up for the long trip, and they have some great products that cant be found elsewhere. Cheaper than Wal-mart and less crowded most of the time. They are in the business of low prices, not extra (expensive) frills, so if you need someone to hug you as you walk in and hold your hand as you look for things then this is not the place for you. They dont accept credit cards, but if you really need to buy your groceries on credit its time to rethink your finances.

I like winco as a place to shop but many employees have come into our doctors office stating they need a doctors note to have a water bottle at their work station. I think its ridiculous that a company is requiring a doctors note for a basic human need. Hopefully they dont also need a doctors note for going to the bathroom and lunch. I dont think I will be shopping there. That makes me so upset.
