To simply put it, I will eat here again and you should too. Spoiler Alert! Amazing experience to follow: So I walked in having heard the food was good. The deli was homey in its atmosphere and the tables were decorated with hand-drawn themed place settings. I wanted to start drawing on the tables too. The two employees that took my order were very personable and joked with me. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado and my fiancée the BLT. While we waited for our food to be made, we both put in a game on the free arcade and considered seating ourselves at the checkers decorated table, complete with checkers to play with, to compete in the most epic game of checkers known to man! So the food arrived, and the portions were great. So I took my first bite and was blown away by the taste. It was delicious! Not even close to dry like other subs from mainstream sub places. I mean that it did not have to have its fair share of mayonnaise and other condiments to moisten it up to palatable. The bread was great! Now when I hear of others speak of Jimmy Johns, most often the first thing mentioned is the bread. Well the bread at Red Deli blows Jimmy Johns bread out of the water! It was soft, tasty, and a treasure to eat on every bite. The bread may be the most notable feature because it is the first thing noticed, but I must mention that all the other fixins on the sandwich were delicious and beautifully blended for a great taste. Trust me, both "sammiches" were a treat. To sum up with what I started, I will eat here again and you should too. Go and enjoy :)

Just dont ask for delivery. I phoned in an order for delivery for a hungry moving crew. An hour later I phoned back to check on the status of the order. Instead of being told the status of the order, I was given a lecture on Red Delis business model, founded on 10 minute delivery (I live a 5 minute drive away). After my bull-crap-o-meter overloaded, I finally got the employee to admit that my order had not even been started, that I was considered a low priority customer (Due to living soooo far away) and they would make my order when they got around to it -- that is, after other customers stopped calling. Apparently I was supposed to be informed that I was a lower-class customer when I placed my order, but I was not. I was appalled that after an hour of me expecting delivery any minute, Red Deli was completely unwilling to make any effort to try and make things right. Not every business gets it right every time, and I understand that, but most businesses are prompt about fixing their mistakes. Red Deli is not one of those businesses.

Had the opportunity to try these guys today. Red Deli is great! They deliver for free within the central Provo area. I had my food within 10 minutes of me placing my order! Awesome cheese fries, and I really liked the lemonade. Lemonade is hard to get right sometimes. Seriously The sandwich: I got a Turkey Bacon Avocado sub. I gotta say, I love the way they composed the sandwich. Yeah I know, compose is a fancy word, but let me explain. One problem I have with many sandwich restaurants, including some bigger companies, is the way the sandwich is made. You know when they kinda stuff all the lettuce into the "hinge" of the bread, and then the meat and cheese is on the other side? Then you have to kind of alternate between bites of lettuce-y sauce, and meat and cheese. Anyone else had that problem? Yes? No? Anyways. Red Delis sub was on point. All the ingredients were equally portioned so that I got an equal bite every time. Which is important. Ill absolutely order from these guys again.

When I knew we were going to Provo UT, I found a Deli on the internet. It had a couple of good reviews so we went there. BIG MISTAKE!!! Our sandwiches were bad. My Philly Steak sandwich had 2 little pieces of the thin sliced lunch meat you get at a grocery store. My wife got one piece of the thin sliced turkey folded over and precooked bacon like you get at Costco. The bread was very good but overall they were not good sandwiches. The worst part was the filthy place. The ladies toilet was black from not being cleaned, The food was in plastic containers stacked around where they made the sandwiches. I didn’t see refrigeration. The soup sat in a large open pot on an old electric range. This place is proof that the city of Provo Utah has a lack of health inspectors.

This is one of those times you shouldnt judge a book by its cover. When you show up in the parking lot, you may consider going somewhere else because it is in a run down strip mall. Just go in. This place is nicely set up. There is a guitar and drums to show off your skills while you wait for your food, and an old Street Fighter arcade game. The decor is unexpected but fun. If you like soft and bread-y sandwiches, this is the place for you. Their ingredients are very fresh and prepared right there. The sandwich did not have enough fillings for how much bread there was by my standards, which is why Ive only given 3 stars. Youll pay $8-9 for a 12" sub. It was tasty though. If I go back Ill give an update.

Honestly I am a big fan of the food, the atmosphere of the place, and the family vibe they have there. I love the cheese fries. I do professional reviews and was prepared to leave a really great review based on my order today. They have delivered to me in the past and I am within 10 blocks of their place of business which is just outside their delivery radius and I always tip the driver. They have 10 block radius to the South but only a 5 block radius to the North. I fall in the Northern area. They denied my order. I would not recommend them as a competitor to the Provo food-delivery scene.

As I was in Provo last week I was very surprised to see this place was still in business and that they have a 4 star review. I wanted to write a review about red deli because I worked at this place a little over 4 years ago when they were next to key bank on university parkway and 200N. I will not write my whole experience because some of the stuff I saw happen here could get this company into some big legal issues and Im not trying to put it out of business but I do want to leave my feedback With how I felt as an employee and how much I was ripped off.

This place has lost my business and the business of everyone I know. Try to have better customer relations. Maybe instead of making potential future customers pissed off by waiting around for your first chance to tow, you cut some people slack, go talk to people, be an overall decent person. Also super overpriced. If you want a better place go to sensuous sandwich on center street. Or in the same strip mall their is a great little taco place where you can get six tacos for the price of one of there sandwiches.
