I flew into Arizona, from California, for a date night with my girlfriend. Saturday night we decided to go have dinner at Kabuki. Neither of us had been there before, so we figured it would be nice to have something different and better than the usual restaurant or fast-food. There was a minor issue, but overall, the food and price was amazing! So, lets get over my one minor issue. The place was super busy and, as expected, had a 30 to 45 minute wait. The hostesses seemed a little disorganized but were very friendly. When she took my name, I asked if they could text me when a table was ready (This wasnt offered, I had to inquire). The young lady took my cell phone number, and we took note of the time and went for a walk to pass the time. About 30 minutes later, no word from the restaurant, we decided to talk back and check on our name. Upon arriving, we were told they called our name and gave away our table. We stated no one called us or texted us. They did immediately find a table outside for us, however, which was nice. But, someone should make sure that whole process works a little better. Once outside, it was slightly annoying that it took a bit for someone to come to our table and take an order. Once we got past this whole seating issue, the food and drinks came out. Our waitress was awesomely friendly. The food, presentation, and everything was simply delicious. And, I must say the price was very nice on the pocket book. My girlfriend and I will be visiting here again!

Went here last night with a friend and did not feel welcomed at all. They treated my friend and gave her everything she asked for. But when it came to me asking for another vegetable roll, the waitress gave me a bogus excuse telling me the kitchen is closing and that I could not have another vegetable roll. I hardly ever go out to eat because most of the people that work in a lot of these restaurants in Arizona have treated me unfairly and poorly in my opinion. The waitress was very condescending and fake, I feel, and I did not like the way she treated me and was so fake about why she could not make me a happy customer. I will make it very minimal to eat out period in the U.S. the people have no manners, customer service edicate, or know how to keep or put a smile on someones face. I did not like the way I was treated at this restaurant. I knew I should of just ate Thai food. My favorite and the people treat me like a human of worth to. Im sick of almost every restaurant I have wasted my money, time and energy driving to and sitting at to ever think that I will ever be treated the way I deserve. Never. I would rather die of starvation rather than to ever be around these type of so called people in a place and served in a way where I am treated like I am not worthy.

The Japanese cuisine is far more than extrordinary I must say its simply stunning powerful full of amazing flavors that will surely leave you begging for more from trying everything from the calimari to the firecracker roll to the seafood ramen just to name a little nibble for your senses to devour. I recommend anytime but prefered 8pm and later for the amazing happy hour which I can personaly promise it is a happy hour at Kabuki. So bring your friends bring your coworkers bring your clients but remember to bring an appetite because the portions are so large you wont have any problem filling the happy bowl. ENJOY! UPDATED! This is visit number 4 the staff is quick and amazing just like the other visits as you can see the picture taken shows the stunning meals prepared perfectly in every way shape and form! When you visit and are unsure they are very happy to help you decide and if your still uncertain I would say close your eyes flip through the pages and point. Anything you choose you can not go wrong! Now its time for desert update on the desert coming soon! Please visit and enjoy the amazing atmosphere food and the employees!

We have been coming here for years and unfortunately this place has gone to shall we say heck in handbasket. We have had horrible service and screw ups our last 3 visits so theyve had opportunities to redeem their establishment and have failed. The food and service has gotten terrible. First we waited 15minutes for a table when there were plenty open, then it took 15 minutes to get acknowledged and get drinks ordered, our appetizer was overcooked, the sesame chicken was like rubber, then they got my entree completely wrong then I wait for the right one and they over cooked the steak. I get the bill and the entree I ordered was not on the bill the one they originally brought me was on the bill and was more expensive and no one caught this. Also the womens bathroom is falling apart, sliding toilet seats and flying toilet paper holders. Doubt we will ever step foot in this place again.

The restaurant was not open on time by at least 30 minutes of its opening hours. The workers there did not even explain to us why it was not open and glared at us through the windows as we waited for them to open. Salmon Roll was warm(raw fish should not be warm). The rice in the sushi was stale. Spicy tuna roll was a joke. Overall the sushi is way overpriced and the quality is terrible for the price you pay. You would expect well crafted sushi rolls with the amount of sushi chefs in Kabuki .(4-5 chefs) I really wish i took a picture of this so called sushi it was more smushi that it was sushi. We went for happy hour today hoping it would be a better experience. Spent more than expected and were still very hungry after the meal. After all my experiences at different sushi restaurants this has got to be the worst in town that i have visited.

I had a great experience at this place. I wish the tables were bigger to fit more food but it was great food. I had a great experience. I did the cook on the hot stone & it was great! My only complaint was that the portions were extra small. A man would still be hungry after eating all of it. I am little and normally cant eat a full meal but this meal was just little enough, that I ate the whole thing. The customer service we received from the front counter & our host was great. It was my birthday & they sang happy birthday to me in Japanese & that was a great experience. The salad was delicious that comes with the hot stone meal also. The ambiance was great, but it was a little too dark to read the menus. Overall this is a great place to go to have some good sushi or try something different.

I went here because I read all these good reviews- and I went in solo, the waitress was rude and clearly not happy to be there, the sushi chefs were expedicious, however the the two rolls I ordered were well below standard even for the price, pretty darn bad. I was very friendly despite the atmosphere and was rushed out before I even finished my food. mind you- I sat way in the corner of the sushi bar against the wall, and I had been there just 15 minutes and my food just arrived, the restaurant had plenty of seating-and I was rushed out literally halfway through eating, never have I seen anything like this before. I still tipped the waitress well but I walked out feeling unwanted, and honestly disgusted. I will never, ever go back. the service was terrible and so was the food.
