Awesome sushi, friendly staff, and authentic neon Japanese feel. This place has character... reminds me of the neon diners in Japan; truly authentic feeling and food if you know what youre looking for. The fish always tastes very good and my advice is to go with the "all you can eat" option. Take your time and enjoy with a nice sake bomb! ***UPDATED 3//21/2015**** I typically love this place, service was off though, way off compared to the last time I went. I literally had to wait thirty minutes between rolls. They were busy but it seemed like the waiters were just being super flakey and there was a chef just sitting behind the counter staring off into space (literally, my wife pointed this out). Normally Im super forgiving, especially with places I like but between the wait and being made felt like I was given some huge favor by being let to take my last roll to go (was on the all you can eat), I have to downgrade to three stars because of the price. I made it through two hand rolls (these were very good) a chicken roll (terrrrrible, but my wife asked me to try it) and the final two rolls that took another thirty minutes - I just cant say I love this place like I used to. $50 is fair for two or three rounds of rolls and an entree if service is at least decent, this night it was "okay" at best, even thats being kind of generous. Look, I run a business too and I know how hard food service can be, but a waitress shouldnt be flaking around talking about videogames with customers if youre so slammed it takes you 30 minutes to get out an order. I dont think Im being too harsh. The food here is good, the price is fair but the service was poor, so I give you three stars. Ive been coming to Ninja for like at least three or four years and it looks like a lot of new staff, please whip them into shape and maybe we can get you back up to a four or five star review. For now, I feel like Ive got no choice but to take you down to three, sorry. P.S. Please for the love of all that is good, take that terrible chicken roll off your sushi menu, its the grossest concoction Ive ever tasted and youre better than that.

Ive eaten a little sushi in my day (many thousands of pieces) including Nobu 2x along with lots of other good to great places around the country. The Ninja All-You-Can-Eat was always an incredible value at $20 with a surprisingly wide range of nigiri and roll choices. Nothing super fancy, and as you would expect it doesnt include sashimi, or some of the more costly cuts like toro, otoro, or enagi, etc. And the AYCE price recently went up to $24, but its still a great value for all the nigiri and rolls you want, as I easily eat 40-50 pieces, or more in a sitting. Seiku behind the bar works Fr-Tues lunches and always delivers quality sushi and when you sit at the bar he actually offers suggestions which are always spot on. (remember this is for bare bones AYCE sushi folks and you are still getting special suggestions) I recently tried a Phoenix roll (minus cream cheese - cream cheese on sushi? yuck!) made with black rice and it was really good. Black rice had a nice texture and added a faint peanut flavor. Black rice is $2 extra per roll and its available only every once in a while. But ask for it if you can remember. Seiku, when he has it, has also provided genuine Japanese wasabe (which is soooo much better than the fake wasabe made from reconstituted horse radish powder and green food coloring that gets foisted on us in virtually all sushi restaurants). The experience is a good one and the sushi pretty darned good for AYCE!! Overall a great value!

Where do I start? Hmmm they say sometimes seeing is believing. I saw some of the negative reviews but hey everyone experience is different. I decided to give this place a try anyway. First off, what turned me off about the place is their dirty looking carpet! The waitress was very nice so we did not let that stop us from staying to try the food. We chose the Habachi Teppan for a party of three. The place was pretty empty and service extremely slow! The cook finally came out after 45min of us being there to prepare our meal. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and was pretty much out when one of the waiter(a guy) dont know his name came and ask me if I wanted some more drink to which I replied yes. The drink he brought me had things floating in it which looks like bunch of mold pieces yuck!!!!! I was flabbergasted! Their excuse was, they boil the tea and sometime the teabag expands and burst.. Yeah, right! as if I dont know what a tea bag looks like! That was obviously a very moldy bacteria. I played it safe and choose Pepsi instead. Right after I was done eating my stomach started hurting, I went to the bathroom and had the runs, came home and had the runs again 2times!!! I am very upset because I wasnt expecting this place to be this bad regardless of the bad reviews. I will stay far away from this place and not recommend it to anyone. Please save yourself rounds to the bathroom by staying away from this place. I will give them a zero star if I could!

I feel like this place could be awesome. I went here last night for the first time and it was honestly not great at all. They are understaffed big time and that is honestly the biggest thing holding them back. We only received half our order and it took about 45 minutes just to get that. The Host up front is new and had only been hired a few weeks prior so I understand his lack of knowledge. But the really need to get this place moving. I over heard the manager saying she only has 1 Teppanyaki chef and not enough Sushi Chefs. If this place had just opened like last week than I would understand, but its my understanding that they have been there a while. For what I did get for food, it was not bad. Service was incredibly slow. The Urinal in the mens room squirts at you. I sincerely hope this place hires more people.

We decided to try a new restaurant that has favorable reviews. We didnt get an opportunity to try the food because we waited over 15 minutes after they brought us drinks and they never came to take our order. When we got up to leave the waitress was apologetic but said she assumed our order was put in. She walked by us several times and didnt bother to check. They still made us pay for the drinks at the end of it. This was a Sunday night, not very busy, so a higher level of service was not an unrealistic expectation. Needless to say we will not be going back if they think that ignoring guests and assuming they are taken care is a way to run a restaurant. I guess the lights not being replaced in their sign is a reflection of how they do business. Very disappointing.

I cant believe the rating is as high as it is. First experience, waited 30 minutes to get seated into a nearly empty hibachi seating area. After seating, we waited another hour before walking out after placing our order. Benefit of the doubt, we gave it another try a month later. Waited 15 min to get seated in again a nearly empty hibachi area. The chicken was rubbery, shrimp was over cooked, and the only good part was the fried rice. Desert time with icecream was capped with a piece of petrified lettuce on the spoon shoved into the icecream. Enjoy the $86 dollar bill for two Ninja, we will never eat here again.
