My husband and I have relocated to Douglas, AZ and are systematically visiting the restaurants in the area. We recently had supper at El Chef. The food was good and service was a little slow. Husband had a burrito with red sauce. We were told it was very spicy, but we really liked it. I had the relleno and will be sure to ask for the sauce on the side next time. The decor is lovely and clean. All in all we enjoyed our meal very much. I highly recommend it.

El Chef has been hosting the Navy personnel working on the border project here. They cook us breakfast and dinner every Mon-Friday and we order off the menu on the weekends. The family that works here is very nice and their food is great. They do not have a large menu and pretty much everything comes with a tortilla, but it is good food.

Yummy "Bobby Style" burrito and chopped steak quesadilla. However, the carne asada nachos are drowned in that liquid type cheese, which is disappointing. The carne asada on the nachos was good, although we found a couple of bone and tendons.

Our servers both visits were both super! I really loved my burrito the first night, it was huge and totally worth the price, and the next day I enjoyed the enchiladas, they were scrumptious. I will definitely come back.
