I am a bit sad as I write this review because Bangkok Thai has been my favorite restaurant in Mobile for years, however these people cannot run a restaurant. Me and my partner went to eat last night around 7pm, granted it was Friday night, but this was the slowest service I have ever seen/experienced. Every table was full (as per usual on a Fri evening), and only two servers were operating the floor. I am not blaming them, since you could tell they were new and inexperienced, how could management let a Friday night run like this? The server took our order and then ten minutes later the drinks finally arrive. Forty-five minutes later with no appetizer in sight and a clueless server... we decided to walk out, which was a first for me. Avoid this place on a busy night, or just order carry-out, they cannot handle high volume which is highly unprofessional.

Absolutely amazing. Stopped here passing through Mobile and we couldnt have picked a better place! I got the pad ka pow with chicken and completely cleaned my plate. This place is all about sauce (which I happily found out is made in house and is also for sale) and it starts with the complementary peanut salad that comes with entrees (I came at dinner) and I had to ask the super nice waitress to sneak me another! And when the food came, perfectly cooked vegetables that had just the right amount of structure and firmness/softness ratio to know it was fresh and good to start. Highly recommend this place and will stop by again whenever Im in Mobile.

I eat Thai food all over , and have tried 3 different ones in Mobile, this was the worst. Our food took forever to arrive then when it did they only brought two of the 3 orders, the third order was 15 minutes after the first two. The food was OK, until one of the guys I was with found an egg shell the size of a quarter in his pad thai! I found small pieces of egg shell in mine as well. I wasnt asked if I needed a refill until I had finished eating, and it took a good 15 minutes to get the bill paid once she took our cards. I would recommend charm or thai diner in west mobile over this place.

Bangkok Thai on Airport Blvd. is my favorite restaurant in Mobile, and one of the few good places in the airport area. That road has far too many bland suburban chains, whose food is totally underwhelming. Anyway, I usually order Phad spicy mint leaves at Bangkok, but the other entres are always good. For an appetizer, I would recommend their Summer Rolls. The Thai peanut sauce they come with is so good that it makes you want to lick the plate! The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, although some nights they do have a very talented young piano player who entertains customers.

Great atmosphere very relaxing exquisite décor the servers very polite, I love Thai food and this was wonderful "very fresh" I was served a salad the moment I sat down after which I ordered the Tom Yum soup as appetizer (heaven in a bowl) the Garlic Chicken for the entrée, oh and for a little extra they will upgrade the chicken with fresh shrimp which I requested and without more than a "yes", a smile and "no problem". I will be a return customer the next time I am in Mobile wish I had discovered Bangkok Thai sooner.

This is possibly one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service extremely slow, it took almost 30 minutes before they took the food order, and another hour before it was ready. Our drinks didnt arrive until after they finally took our order. When we finally got our food, the food itself could hardly be labeled as anything better than mediocre. It was bland and relatively flavorless. The quality of the food was nowhere close to being sufficient to justify the price or the time.

I ordered take out on May 14th 2014. When I went home and opened it. It smelled very bad. I paid 33 dollars and they cheated me. I guess they gave me the previous day food, just warmed up. The food was horrible and I had to throw every bit of the food. Please dont go and order a take out. The fried rice and Pad thai, was horrible and smelled very bad/ I guess it was prepared the previous day and it was a left over.

The food is consistently very good. Several times theyve missed details on my order like the type of meat. It used to take 20 minutes or longer to get the food, but now its bearable. Theyre not usually busy when I go in, so the delays in basic things like getting water refills become noticeable. I go back because the curry and pad thai are phenomenal - even if I cant be sure how spicy itll be when it arrives.

This is by far the best Thai food in Mobile and arguably one of the best restaurants Mobile has to offer, period. In fact, I recently moved to another state and have yet to find another Thai restaurant that compares; I always make a point to come here when Im visiting in Mobile. The food is great, the atmosphere is authentic and the prices are very reasonable...you really cant beat it!

The young girl who took our order and started us off was amazing. Soon some little old lady came in and was beyond rude and ignored us. She never brought us what I politely asked for, but the table she was fawning over got everything they asked for and more. Food was Ok, Siam Thai in Pensacola is way better and has better service.

Interesting. Better yet, extraordinary. Service, quite strange. Food, absolutely disgusting. Decor, overwhelming. Worst Thai restaurant I have ever been to. Food was cold and the beef tasted like fish. Came based on other reviews that were not even close to true. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Bangkok. Thank you.

Our first time eating at Bangkok Thai was good, but the service needed some improvement. The food was great, with large portions for the price, and a wide variety of Thai dishes. Our server was new and made several mistakes in our order. It may have been a fluke, and we will definitely try it again.

This is my first and most favorite Thai restaurant. I volunteer at the Meditation Center of Alabama out in front of the restaurant and I eat at the restaurant a lot. The people are friendly. The food is great. The decorations are very elaborate. I highly recommend lunch and dinner.

Never a bad experience here. Sometimes, however, I have to convince the staff that I really do want my food as spicy as I ask for it. If its not up to my liking, theyre always accommodating by bringing out spices in a bowl so that I can crank up he heat as I see fit.
