DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT, they will take your money and not give you what you paid for. If it were possible to give this restaurant a 0 star rating I would. I ordered 2 combination plates and after being charged extra for house rice, I wasnt given house rice. I called and was only offered a credit for one after I clearly paid for 2. The employee who took my order proceeded to argue. I decided to return, with my receipt, reflecting the charge for both. There was no apologies at all. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

I would have to say my experience with the Lucky Star Chinese restaurant was great! We tried the General Tsos chicken and it was very good. Also on the choice list was the Beef with Peppers and Tomatoes and this was excellent. The egg rolls were competent (I have had better though) and the fried noodles were excellent as well. Round this out with plenty of fortune cookies and inexpensive price and I would rate this restaurant/carry-out very high. Worth going again for sure!

We used to live right up the road from Lucky Star in Woodridge, and after several years of searching for good carry out to replace the restaurant we used to go to (out of state), we finally found Lucky Star! Their appetizers could use some work, but any main dish on the menu is delicious. Large portion sizes and very reasonable prices. We have since moved about 25 minutes away, and still make the trip to Lucky Star for our Chinese food. Highly recommended!!!

Ive gotten food delivered from them three times now, and its always been very good. The person on the phone was very nice and patient, as was the delivery person. I got a shrimp fried rice, chicken with mushrooms, and an appetizer platter. What really stood out was the teriyaki beef. It was fresh and juicy and perfectly cooked. Lucky Stars become my go-to when I dont feel like cooking. Good stuff!

I never found another better Chinese restaurant is years, they served the best Orange chicken 10 years ago when I was living with my parents, fast forward to present time I recently ordered from them (its been awhile) but the just dont know how to disappoint, the food is still the best Chinese Ive ever had.

I ordered a lunch special from here (orange chicken and rice), was told it would be delivered in 30 min. I called back twice to see where my food was and why it was taking so long. They wouldnt do anything for me even after I waited 2 hours till my food finally showed up. VERY DISSAPOINTED.

Good local Chinese takeout. I have been coming here for years. They make all of the Americanized-Chinese dishes better than anyone else in the area. Recently they added dim sum, not as good as Chinatown but much closer to home. The people who run this place are very nice.

The best tomato pepper beef dish I have ever had! Excellent won ton soup and vegetable egg rolls..superb. Service is fast and efficient. If you are looking for ruth chris type service go to a steak house..if you want well prepared chinese in a hurry, give it a try!

We have been ordering from here for 3 years and have never had a problem. The food is great. Its a little expensive, but chinese food in general is expensive. The service is always pleasant and delivery is quick. I wish they would give coupons to repeat customers.

Ive been coming here for about 5 years and I always get the beef with pepper and tomato. This time it didnt have any tomato but carrots instead. This changed the whole flavor of the dish.I was very disappointed. Time to find another Chinese restaurant.

Ultra fresh ginger, even a basic and easy-to-ruin dish like chicken fried rice was fresh and delish. Staff should not speak non-English when facing customers.
