UPDATE: After a great visit at Asian Bowl I had to update the review. Arriving early at 4 we had the place to ourselves. Based on the recommendation of the co-owner, we began with a bowl of Tom Yum. It was hot and delicious with plenty of sour and heat. Absolutely delicious. The appetizer was vegetable dumplings - full of flavor despite being all veggies. Our main courses were Green Curry Beef and Spicy Basil with Beef. The curry dishes at Asian Bowl are AMAZING. I almost wished I had ordered the Spicy Basil - the total basil and heat flavors were perfect. An absolute treat in the burbs that has never disappointed. I will make this one of my regular asian cuisine destinations. HINT - deliveries require a $15 minimum.

This place is terrible. I ordered this place off an app called bring me that a week ago. They brought me my food. I had beef and broccoli and it looked disgusting. I thought I would try something else this time. I ordered off the app, the guy shows up and says we have to pay. I paid online already and it toook out of my account but he says they didnt get it and they arent with that app anymore....maybe they should get off the app???....7 days ago I got the food but now I dont. So inconvenient. Do not order from here. Such rude people.

Service was horrible and server literally did not speak a word to us (respond when we said thank you, ask how the food was, nothing). The lady who took our order gave us attitude for not wanting to order the lunch buffet. To top it off there was a sign next to the toilet that said please dont flush tissue and there was an open garbage can next to the toilet with used toilet paper.. Just gross. Trying to put these other factors aside the food was bland and not very good. There is way better Thai in graylake and Libertyville.

got the lunch special which is an appetizer+entre+drink for like $7 my appetizer was 1 tiny eggroll, it was pretty silly, but it was a pretty good eggroll. Pad Thai was fairly good, LOTS of noodles, plenty of food. no sprouts, just some shredded carrots. I asked for it extra spicy and it was :D Thai iced tea was good, also got some mochi for desert and they were good too! served all fancy. the lady was very nice and the whole experience was quite good. cute place, decent food, Id eat here again.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Grayslake. I have traveled around the world and used to live in Chicago and DC, but the consistent quality and wonderfully friendly service brings us back week after week (literally, we probably eat there or take-out almost once a week). AND the prices are extremely reasonable. I would recommend anyone to try this place out! My favorites are the Crab Rangoon and Pad See Ew (the red curry and pad thai are also faves).

Great food for the price! I go to Asian Bowl for lunch or dinner often and Im never disappointed. I recommend this food also for your parties. At my friends birthday party we had variety of dishes from the restaurant and all forty two guests loved it and asked where I got the food from. Do not hesitate to give it a try!!! My favorite is Chicken Panang and Ginger chicken. For appetizer we love Gyoza and Crab Ragoon. Margaret from Grayslake

I ordered a lunch special here for 8.95 when it said 7.95 on website. Also the food portions are very small for lunch and not worth the money. Food was okay but not the best. On top of that the lunch special says it includes a drink and of the four drinks you can choose from three of them have an additional $1.50 to $2.00 charge... I would not come to this place again.

Worst Thai food place ever! Raw tofu in panang curry? Panang curry consist of curry and meat/tofu......no vegetables? Didnt see one Asian and the American girl that worked the front desk was rude and very uninformative. They charge like a Thai place but not one thing seemed fresh. Thanks for a waste of 60$ and tasting the worst curry I have ever had

The WORST Spicy Basil Fried Rice. Absolutely no taste of basil, no spice at all and a boat load of GARLIC. Damn cook even came out and yelled , yes YELLED at me for returning the plate and said I should read the menu next time. Horrible service!!! Id recommend Royal Thai in Gurnee in front of 6 Flags any time of the day :)

Asian Bowl is one of my favorite restaurants in Grayslake. It is clean, friendly and the food is always good. I like their yellow curry, tom yum, and larb salad. Their Pad Thai is very good too. They have good hours and a lunch buffet during the week. They also have great Thai tea and Boba. My mom likes their mochi.

Stopped in at the beginning of the lunch buffet. The buffet was a little awkward, yet functional, but the food was good. Couldnt get enough of the Panang curry chicken and really enjoyed the pad Thai and crab Rangoon. Good lunch for less than 10 dollars. You may need to ring the bell to get their attention.

Best Kept Secret in Grayslake! We just discovered this restaurant after being treated pretty poorly at a Japanese place nearby. It turns out Asian Bowl has excellent food and very friendly, all at a great price. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff is extremely friendly. Highly recommend!!

Stopped in to try this place, had the spicy basil fried rice with beef and crab rangoon of course. Owner/Cook was friendly and ready to make a recommendation. Dont let temporary staff behavior keep you out of this place. The Lady in the kitchen is what you go for and she can cook.

My husband and I have been ordering from Asian Bowl for 7 or 8 years. Their food is addictively good. Im a big fan of the red and green curries, but there are so many other amazing dishes on their menu. And, they deliver! You really must try them. I doubt youd be disappointed.

This restaurant is a favorite of ours in Grayslake. We love the fresh food and authentic flavors! The owners are always very kind and helpful. The lunch buffet is fast and delicious and ordering from the menu always results in tasty dinners with enough to take home.

A neighborhood gem. The food is high quality and if your feeling ill, the Tom Yum soup will get you back on your feet in no time. The owner is a delight and always remembers my wifes food allergies. Carry out is always as good as dine in.

We have always enjoyed Asian Bowl since they opened their doors. We were a bit disappointed when they changed their fun little fried egg rolls that popped in our mouths, but the new ones are tasty, too. Definitely order from there!

Their food is REALLY good whether its the Thai or Japanese, Ive had almost everything on the menu! Ive never tried the buffet, since I always order pick-up or delivery (which is always really fast), and they are closed on Sundays.

This is a great place to get delivery. Each Friday is Asian bowl night. The food is excellent, prices are fair, and delivery is always timely. If youre nearby, give them a chance to make you happy.

The server was really odd and didnt speak us to other than to take our order. Then he gave us attitude when we asked to split the bill. Strange experience.
