I ordered from Red Sun for the first time this evening. My brother prefers it over Chopsticks (Im in the early stages of confirming his insanity) I went in and placed an order for delivery around 6 pm on a Friday, which anyone who has worked in food service knows that Friday night is the busiest night of the week in most places. It didnt seem incredibly busy, but there were cooks cooking and a young lady answering phones in the front. I was told that delivery was 45 minutes which seemed pretty reasonable to me. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and an order of the Chicken in Garlic Sauce. I then went home to set the table and wait for my girlfriend to come home for dinner. The food came right on time, and the driver was professional and courteous. Thats as far as I can go in complimenting Red Sun. My girlfriend found a rock in her Kung Pao Chicken and she found it the hard way (pun intended) The rock chipped her tooth. So we called to speak to a manager to discuss a resolution to the issue. We spoke to a manager and presumably one of the owners. She told us that she has no idea what could have been in the Kung Pao Chicken. She offered a refund for the Kung Pao Chicken. At first I declined and told the owner that we would stop in and discuss it further. We stopped in and brought the rock with us. We made a point to pull the owner away from all of her customers waiting to order "food" as a courtesy to her. She acted as if she had no idea what the rock was and tried to explain it as a peanut, and a piece of food at first. She then said she had no idea where the rock came from and denied that it even came from her kitchen. She then offered me the same deal as before, my money back, but I wanted the dental work covered since it was her "food" that caused the damage. She said that if I wanted anything else, I would need a lawyer. She then tried to take the rock from me as if she were going to throw it out. I insisted that she return it which seemed to freak her out a little. She gave me the money back for the Kung Pao Chicken portion in the order, but thats it. Before I left, I offered to let her see the bill after she gets the dental work done. If she changes her mind at that point, that we could settle the matter then. As we were leaving, I noticed that there were a bunch of decorative plants on the counters. Inside the pots for these plants were decorative rocks not unlike the one found in our food. Im appalled at the lack of professionalism shown at this establishment and I encourage anyone who reads this to take your business elsewhere.

I placed my order online and was promptly called to increase the total bill. You want extra sauce for the pot stickers? $.50 each for the little cups filled < 1/3 full. To substitute fried rice for steamed rice we had to pay for an order of fried rice, same for soft noodles. Other restaurants either switch for free or for a small upcharge. Crab Rangoon was bland, the rest of the food was mediocre to fairly good, nothing outstanding. Pot stickers were large but mostly dough (the dog loved them). Both were very greasy. Total bill for three people was over $80 for one meal plus a few leftovers. This was the first time we ordered from Red Sun. Well be going back to our old favorite - Chopstix. On the upside, the young man who made the delivery had a very nice smile and a pleasant attitude.

Good food. We dined in and the food was ready very quickly. Large portions, they even gave me some extra white rice to bring home with the other half of my main dish to round out seconds for dinner. Crab Rangoon was delicious. Egg roll I could have done without but Ive never been big on them any way. Smoothies are Awesome and you can order them with or without tapioca. I was sad to see canned mushrooms, but they made my special order without a fuss. Some places try to charge you for a special order.

The food has been great every time Ive gotten it but Id recommend dining in over delivery.. I literally live 3 minutes away. Ive ordered delivery twice, and both times it took them over 2 HOURS to deliver it... I called both times around the 1.5 hour mark and they just say "The driver is on the way." Almost a half hour later theyve shown up with cold food, almost as if they were just letting it sit on the counter until I called..

Im local right down the road on Grand Ave and have eaten here many times. The food is pretty good and is only 1 of 2 places I go to get Chinese. Everything else around here either doesnt deliver, has horrible customer service, or just doesnt have good food at a good price. I would recommend ordering out from Red Sun.

The empress chicken was mostly soggy breading, and the little bit of chicken that was inside, was dry. The crab Rangoon was just cream cheese in the middle. Didnt taste any onion or crab. It was over priced and it took a little over an hour to get to me, when I live less than 3 miles away. Never again.

Delivery was promised within an hour. Took almost 95 minutes. That wasnt the worst part. All the food was bland, at best. Crabmeat Rangoon was simply awful, everything was cold. I will never eat a thing from this restaurant again.

They have the BEST egg rolls anywheres!!!! Warning though if you have a peanut allergy you can not eat them. The entrees are delicious and the rice is excellent. I would recommend this location to anyone who enjoys good chinese cuisine

Chinese food around here is overwhelmingly mediocre, and Red Sun is no exception. You get a decent amount of food for your money, but thats about all I can say for it. Its not bad, but its not especially good either.

Love this place!! The egg rolls are by far my favorite! I always get the broccoli beef and I love the meat they use in this. I have never had a bad experience here!!!
