As much as I hate to say this because I have ALWAYS loved Cracker Barrel in Moody.....but my husband and I just had the worst meal we have ever had at that place. Let me make this clear...this has nothing to do with the waiters & waitresses. Theyre always wonderful. We actually placed a "to-go" order. They told us it would be ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes. My husband arrived there 20 minutes after placing the order. He had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the food. We only live 5 minutes from the restaurant. The food was so cold it seemed like it had been sitting in a refrigerator. My husband has always loved their dumplings. It was just one big cold blob of dumplings. The gravy on his hamburger steak was ice cold. My grilled chicken tenders would good....but cold. Okra was cold. Hashbrown casserole had almost raw hashbrown potatoes and HUGE chunks of onions....and yes cold. Needless to say, this dinner was a complete disappointment. My husband several people walking out upset complaining about the food and service. I dont what changes are going on there right now, but something needs to be fixed.

The restaurants food was outstanding. Our server was top-notch. I have been to fine dining restaurants and had servers that werent as attentive as the server we had that day, a pretty girl with "4 stars" named Heather. We were very surprised... No one ever had an empty glass and there were to-go drinks offered as well when we were almost through with our visit since she said lots of people come in from road trips and like to take refreshments with them. With the yummy, hot food and the great service Im sure this Cracker Barrel does well. We will be back again and will ask for our same server!

Upon arriving to Cracker Barrel my visit was very quick to be seated an a very popular stop. The host/hostess are very nice. The food wasnt a too terrible wait, and the host James was very friendly. The food was cooked thoroughly and overall good exsperience. Price: $$ Pro: lovely friendly service, good food fixed an ordered like requested, not a terrible wait Con: The only complaint...I asked for biscuits an didnt get them ;.;

I dont know why we continue to give this location a chance. From the hostess that cant even be bothered to say, "Follow me, please" and simply walks towards a table expecting us to follow, the cold macaroni and cheese, and the waiter with dirty hands who cant remember a juice box and leaves the wrong ticket - just stay home. I could have had a can of soup with more appeal.

Food was good, however EVERY RV parking spot was filled with cars with other parking spots available. When I mentioned this to the manager, he said yes, they always park in those spots. My conclusion is this Cracker Barrel does not welcome large vehicles, buses, etc. There is another Cracker Barrel 5 miles down the road that I will go to in the future. .

Staff needs training on what is included with the meals. Slow service was the biggest issue and I didnt get all of the meal I ordered even after I ask for it. We used to eat at Cracker Barrel 2 or 3 times a week but prices started going up and the serving amount less. So now its a rare occasion and the above is why.

Home cooking, being treated as an old friend, fun shopping, nostalgia. Whats not to like? Their pancakes are the best in the country. They have the Maillard reaction (what makes the sugars and amino acids make that delicious taste when food browns) down to a science in their pancakes. I dream about them. Yum.

Made us wait 20 min for no reason except marketing so u will buy something. Plenty of tables available. Ordered a cup of soup and a Hamberger steak and sides the soup was cold and the Hamberger steak overdone sides were food. Go to the logans steak house right next door instead

All food on the menu is not always available. Customer service could use a lot of help. Defiantly the worst experience ever at any Cracker Barrel. Would probably never stop at that one again, with better ones nearby on I20 in Leeds, Oxford, and Pell City.
