***Update*** Since the last time I was here they added a credit/debit machine at the end of the drive through. Still no window, but at least now they can swipe your card right there instead of having to go back inside. Also there was no "tip" section at the bottom. Again I have no problem tipping if I stop at one of the parking stops and am being served. I was only opposed to tipping when going through the drive through. This Sonic irritates me. People are fine and food is fine, but there is no drive through window. So if you go through the drive through, you have to wait for the employee to come out, and then when you pay they have to go back in and run your card, or get change for your cash. Then if you pay with a card theres a spot for you to sign next to an open "tip" amount and total. I always feel bad having to write "0", but I refuse to pay tip when going through the drive through.

Terrible service during a not so busy time. Sat for 20 mins to be given the wrong ice cream. Sat for another 20mins while said ice cream was being fixed. Called back from our stall to see if we maybe had been forgotten about. She assured us that it was being fixed. Unknown to us, the whole time we were waiting on the replacement, the lady taking the orders was on smoke break three stalls down from us with two other employees, which I assume were cooks. We then asked for a refund which seemed to be rocket science for some reason as the lady running the food and the lady taking orders (still on a smoke break) argued across the length of the parking lot whether or not money could be refunded. I didnt come to a sonic to have the finest dining experience in my car but I didnt come here to have a Jerry Springer show shoved in my face. Thanks

On my way to work I stopped by Sonic and ordered a junior cheese burger lettuce, mayo, cheese, and Bacon only on it, a cheese tatter-tot and a Rt 44 sweet tea 1/2 ice. What I got was a cheese burger with everything on it but what I asked for. The food was cold, and when I paid the car hop she gave me back the paper money and kept my change without even thinking about asking me if I wanted my coin change. It was not here to keep since I never told her that she could have it. She did not give me a receipt. I tried numerous times to call and talk to the manager, but the phone was off the hook. Dont go the thebSonic on 6th Ave SE in Decatur, AL!

Just left there ten minutes ago and after i had pushed the button to give my order no answered, sat there for almost 15 minutes waiting on some one to answer to receive my order. When i looked inside of the place every single employee was standing around not doing anything but talking... REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!! WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ONE OR ANY OTHER SONIC AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Well its never a bad place to go, but last time I was there we paid $5.99 for a three piece chicken strip meal. The chicken was the size of my index finger for each strip I got. The fries in the box randomly included one onion ring as well. Not worth the money for that. Drink was pretty good since not many places serve cold powerade and I had just gotten done working!

Drink order was wrong. I asked for a grape ice cream shake and got a blue raspberry that was not even mixed up. The flavoring was just sitting on the tip. My husbands banana milkshake was also not mixed up well. As for the food it was ok. The man who took my order was rude and refused to give me my receipt. It will be a long time before I go back here.

I waited nearly half an hour for my food. I assumed they just forgot my order, so I drove all the way over to the other sonic on Danville Rd. I highly suggest going to the one on Danville. They have nice, great service and they even apologized for the one on 6th avenue. Both Sonics have different owners. Go to the one on Danville Rd.

Sat for 20 minutes waiting for my food, told the guy who walked up to me twice and asked what I ordered what I had and after using the speaker and telling that person what I ordered I received the wrong food. They refunded my money but acted shocked that I actually wanted the food I ordered. Very unprofessional

This is the worst Sonic Ive ever dealt with. Between getting an exact same order wrong twice in a row, taking over 10 minutes to be served in the drive-thru, and being told they are closed when they are obviously open, Im done with this one. Ill either find someplace else to go or visit a different Sonic.

Wanted a Sundae last Saturday one person working and ignoring everyone. Not her fault she couldnt do the work of 6 people. Tried again this Saturday it was raining so I was told the system was down. I think no one wanted to serve me in the rain. Sad how terribly this is run and corporate doesnt care

Employees have no concept of urgency whatsoever. Everytime I come to this location I wait three times longer than I would wait at the sonic across town. We once spent 45 minutes waiting on two sonic blasts and ended up leaving, going across town, and getting the same order within 5 minutes. SLOW.

The food is good but the person taking my order had a smart a** mouth just because my boyfriend was confused about the screen not matching what he ordered. He sighed alot while my boyfriend was making my order and he said "telling me how to do my job". Excuse me but you work at sonic buddy.

I will not go back this location ever again. I could see 5 people in the kitchen, but only 3 of them appeared to be working. They had the doors to the kitchen open and I could hear every word of their very unprofessional conversation. It took forever for me to get 2 shakes.

doesnt know how to get orders right. I ordered a medium popcorn chicken and received a snack size. I was overcharged and told the menu prices had changed that morning. Clearly it was false advertising if the menu prices had changed. Never eating here again.

Our last visit was excellent all our food was fresh and our car hop was very polite . Many Many times before this the service and quality of the food we re horrible .. So Im hoping they are under new management and they are going to stay good :)

They are the slowest sonic is existence. The drive up kiosk did not work so had to drive around to the drive thruw. Then had so sit and wait for an hour to get my order taken and my food. On top of that the employees are extremely rude.

Order was 3 piece mozzarella sticks, fries and a medium cherry slush in. I waited 30 minutes. People behind me was getting their food. 2 workers asked me have a gotten my food. I just got fed up and drove off.

2 small drinks... Over 45 min.2 customers came and went and never did get drinks!!! But the Manager Joey hung up on me, then would not answer phone after 25+ calls to reach him.
