I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE SINCE IT OPENED. I ENJOY THE FOOD AND THE COOKS AS WELL AS THE GIRLS THAT SERVE THE FOOD BUT THE LAST TWO MANGERS DONT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.I WAS ALREADY EATING MY SALAD WITH MY FAMILY OF FIVE AND THE MANGER CAME OVER AND ASKED US TO MAOVE DOWN A SEAT SO HE COULD SIT ANOTHER PARTY OF TWO.IT WAS A VERY UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION AND NEEDLESS TO SAY I DIDNT ENJOY MY DINNER ON 2-16-10 AND NEITHER DID MY FAMILY OR THE OTHER PARTY OF TWO. I WILL GO BACK TO SHOGUN OR STIX AT THE GALLERIA ,I WENT TO MT.FUJI BECAUSE OF ITS LOCATION.CUSTOMER SERVIVE AS WELL AS FOOD QUALITLY ARE WHAT MATTERS WHEN YOU SPEND $120.OO FOR A MEAL AND I ATE THERE TWICE A WEEK NOT TO MENTION SOMETIMES AT LUNCH.I TOLD THE MANGER AFTER THE MEAL WAS OVER AND HE DIDNT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT KEEPING ME AS A CUSTOMER,ALL HE COULD TELL ME WAS HE HAD SIT 10 PEOPLE AT A TABLE REGARDLESS IF THE OTHERS SITTING THERE HAD ALREADY BEGUN EATING.I HOPE THE OWNER REALIZES THAT A ONE TIME CUSTOMER DOESNT PAY HIS BILLS A REPEAT CUSTOMER IS WHERE HE MAKES HIS MONEY.I HOPE FOR THERE SAKE THAT THEY CAN MANAGE TO STAY IN BUISNESS BUT IT WILL BE HARD WHEN THEY ARE RUNNING OFF CUSTOMERS

We will never be the returning to mount fuji. Managers are extremely rude. Food chefs and waitress are great but when my husband and I went there on a friday night we were initially seated at the teppanyaki table. However when not as many people as they expected showed up we were asked to either order more food or move to the dining area. we agreed to move to the dining area as we had already placed our order and eaten our soup and salad. we waited for a very very very long time for our food and when they brought it out it was not the amount of food we had ordered. when we asked about it they said that when you eat in the dining area they do not give you as much food or offer the share charge. we were not notified of this when they displaced us from our original table and we asked to be given the amount of food we had originally ordered. They refused to fix the problem and proceeded to still charge us for the soup and salad when we said we no longer wanted to eat there. not only did they charge us but it was 7 dollars and 99 cents for 2 soups and salads which is absolutely ridiculous expecially when you have a customer you had a problem.

The hostess at the front was very unprofessional; I called and wanted a to go order and for my food to be cooked on the hibachi grill instead of the kitchen and was told that I could sit at the hibachi grill as long as I had more than 1 order. I had four orders. When leaving she told me that they would not be able to do that again. I replied we(the company I work for) will not be returning. The reason being is that it is not a difference than 4 people sitting at the hibachi and did not finish their meals and asked for to-go boxes. NONE. 1 start for the food it was ok.

We went to Mt. Fuji for my wifes birthday with a party of eight and were seated quickly at the grill. Most of us ordered the steak or filet mignon but a couple of us ordered the salmon. Everyone loved the food and enjoyed the show!. Highly recommend. Service was great and price was reasonable.

I used to love this place but the last two times I went in I had horrible service. Last time I went in to pick up my order there was no one around. I had to go into the KITCHEN to finally get someone to bring out my to go order. Also its to expensive for the quality of the food now.

Love this sushi restaurant lived in Florida for 6yrs and Maine for 2yrs great sushi for being shipped in the sushi is awesome and love the service I eat here 1 to 2 times a week. I was also in Japan for over a year so have to say love the restaurant food and staff

No happy hour any day or any time. Ordered filet, only came with 6 tiny pieces and was over cooked. It didnt even seem to be filet. I have eaten at many other Japanese steakhouses across multiple states. This steak house was by far the most mediocre.

I used to like eating here until I walked in one day after normal lunch hours and found the staff sleeping on top of the bar and in chairs. Sorry, but I dont want to eat where people have been sleeping in their nasty clothes.

The show was completely terrible!! He didnt even acknowledge us. The food wasnt good either, chicken was dry, rice and noodles were under cooked. Also we arrived at 5:00 and it took 45 minutes plus for the chef to show up.

Great place for both Sushi and Habatchi grill. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cost is reasonable for the area. The look and feel is decent for the price. Sushi was fresh and food quantity was good.

My family really enjoys Mt Fuji Steakhouse in Hoover. The kids like the Hibachi and my wife and I love their sushi selection. Some of the best sushi in Birmingham and the service is good too.

I love this hibachi place. They are very friendly. I like that you can sit in a booth and still get the same hibachi style food. The price are reasonable too.
