The experience is declining. You can sit anywhere you want and the waiter said that when I entered, one problem every single empty table was dirty some with food remains some covered in dishes. The waiter ran in the back and when he came back and saw I was still standing he yelled across rhe restraunt to have a seat, caus8ng everyone to stop eatibg and look at me like 8 was crazy. I said all the tables are dirty he walked back into the kitchen. I refused to sit at an empty table and was a secobds away from walking out when an employee with a brain came and cleaned off a table. But the service continued to get worse, I wish I had just walked out in the begining. The food was not as good as it used to be and to add insult to injury they over cooked my daughters tempura so hard and touch you could knock on the table with it and the waitress just flipantly dismissed it took her food to the back did not bring her more then still charged us for it. Awful awful awful. The staff is also super talkative you go there to eat with your family not them. The rest of the food was no better even though we did not bother to complain because unlike my childs food ours was edible although not delicous. They over cooked our steak, I asked for medium well and received the chewiest black steak I have ever seen, not a pinch of color on the inside. Even my lobster was crunchy though I cant quite figure out how they managed to pull that off. All in all I regret eating there and will not return even though I luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv sushi and was a big fan of their mixed veggies and rice, too bad they let the quality and customer service levels decline

This is my second time going to Rock-N-Roll in TRUSSVILLE, the first was awesome, on yesterday 4/5 went by and ordered the same identical thing(head banger shrimp) when I arrived home and opened container it was nothing but strings of shrimp only enough to fit into the palm of my hand) with the exception of the fried rice. The first time I ordered it was more than enough. I call RockNRoll complained the lady I spoke with told me I would have to SPK with the manager but she did not know when he would in. It was disappointed I drove so far . Thumbs down to trussville RockNRoll

The service was horrible. 3 customers in the store, 5 staff. 3 of the staff couldnt stop playing their video game / watching their smart device. Our waitress couldnt bother to spend more than a grand total of 52 seconds at our table for the entire time we were there. I had to go find someone to get assistance...twice. Portions were generous for the price, but the overall quality was lacking. Sushi is a tough sell for folks in the South...it becomes twice as hard of a sell when you make them sit through a Rock n Roll theme.

This place is too hit or miss. If you really love sushi, go somewhere else. The ambiance is cool and the service is good, but cant say much for the sushi. When I went the first time 2 years ago - blech. Tried it again last year, and it wasnt too bad. Went again this weekend, and the tuna they used...was not high grade. Their rolls are overpriced for what they are. I ordered a Rolling Stone and it cost $14 for 8 small pieces - excuse me? Ill stick with my regular sushi restaurant from now on.

Great Sushi!!! They are very innovative with their menu. Friendly staff members. Try something different each time you go and you will still never be disappointed! They have great deep fried rolls. I wish they had a wider variety of raw fish, but i think they cater more to the whole family having something on the menu that they love. Raw fish and hardcore sushi enthusiasts may have a better experience elsewhere. Overall this is one of the best casual sushi places in the Birmingham area.

Top 5 worst meals out. It took 30 minutes for our egg rolls to come, with our waitress constantly telling the server that each plate was ours. The server did not get the hint. We finally got everything when the waitress, who was actually fairly attentive, came to check on us. Sushi wasnt great, but that was our poor choice and not the chef. The beef bowl special was atrocious. About as high quality as stouffers beef tips from the grocery store freezer. If even that. Waste of 60 dollars.

It saddens me to say this used to be mine and my husbands go to place for dates. I came in solo for lunch and fruit flies were EVERYWHERE. It was terrible and I lost my appetite needless to say. I did let the waitress know and she was swatting at them and apologized. I paid and left. Nobody even tried to make it right. I didnt touch my food and was charged full price. We wont be back, which is sad because the rolls were great but I cant deal with pest problems.

Very tasty. Laid back atmosphere and good music (subjective, but youre probably going to skip the place entirely if you dont like rock.) It is expensive, around $50-$75 for the two of us most of the time. More Westernized than traditional, but some awesome ingredient and flavor combinations. Each of their original rolls is named for notable music figures.

MANAGEMENT SUCKS. I WAS TALKED TO DOWN TO BECAUSE THE PRICE ON THE TABLE TOPPER WAS PRICE WAS INCORRECT. I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS THE ONLY ONE COMPLAING ABOUT THE INCORRECT PRICE. THE MANAGER WAS RUDE AND CAME OFF A LIL RACIST. PEOPLE PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. UNLESS YOULIKE BEING TREATED LIKE S**T. SAME YOUR MONEY PEOPLE .

I would always ride past this place but today I actually stopped to check it out. The atmosphere is very laid back and the staff was amazing; very knowledgeable. The food was DEFINITELY worth the stop! You will leave full and satisfied! But, if youre easily chilled take a jacket as it was pretty cool inside.

Only giving one star because i have to. Service is horrible!!! ON TOP of that, today i placed a to go order and its been about 1hr and its still not ready! Dont tell me 15min if its going to be over an hour. My family and I use to love this place but now its just gets worse every time we go.

Love this place. Lots of variety on the menu. Ive been to Rock N Roll Sushi at least half a dozen times, everything has been always been superb. Service can get a little slow during lunch hour due to the crowd. But youll never walk away disappointed in the food.

The staff is very nice, but the food is not. Most of the rolls are smothered in sauce, which almost masks the horrible taste. I dont know who supplies their fish, but it isnt fresh and certainly does not taste sushi grade in the least.

I think I have a Rock N Roll Sushi addiction. I go at least once a week and LOVE it. I love the atmosphere, music, margaritas and most of all the SUSHI! My favorite is the Heart Roll, but I wouldnt turn down anything they serve.

My husband and I love this place, the drinks are great but most importantly the sushi is out of this world. My husbands favorite is the lobster roll and my fav is the MJ. We eat here when ever possible! ;-)
