Save yourself the time and go to Salem for a Teriyaki dinner. Wait staff is very rude and condescending, the first plates were wrong which my wife discovered when she got them to the house. She made a quick phone call to Moshitas, the waitress took the order a second time, i went with her this time as i wanted to get out of the house, the second order was also very wrong, waitress scolded us on how we were ordering the food wrong? She told us how to order it the second time and third time and it was still wrong which we gladly paid for as my wife ran a restaurant for 10 years, and understand people can make mistakes. we finally ordered just a plate of steamed veggies and had to mix and match our other 3 orders to get what we wanted, go to there Facebook and read there reviews and how there employees and there boyfriends,owners responded to my review . BOTTOM LINE DONE PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE. STAYTON IS A VERY SMALL TOWN AND THEY WILL NOT BE AROUND LONG WITH THE WAY THERE STAFF AND OWNERS RUN THERE STORE.

Recently gave the sushi another try. I was told they are under new management. I very much like the sushi and am happy to have a local place. I believe a sushi bar is even in the future! I really like the Spicy Tuna and Tsunami Maki. Will be a regular here. 2 years ago - It very much reminded us of the casual or "local" restaurants in Hawaii. The teriyaki chicken was tasty and a good portion. The rice was nicely cooked. We would definitely have it again. We did not like the sushi, ordered spicy tuna. The tuna was not fresh or frozen, not sure what, even the pickled ginger was not right. So if you go enjoy the chicken. The pot stickers were good but were used to the island style pan fried, order some and see what you think.

I went expecting no more than a run of the mill teriyaki meal. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The meal was excellent, both the Teriyaki Pork, and Teriyaki Chicken were done very well. The chicken was juicy, and the pork was flavorful, and just blackened on the edge providing a flavorful texture to the meal. The meat was served over the rice, which was odd, but made for a great presentation. The salad was also very good with a sesame ginger dressing that was much better than the one normal dressing that seems mayo based. I will certainly eat there again if I am in the area.

We were in town for a football game, and looking for a place for dinner. We read the reviews and thought we would try Mashira. The food was hot, and absolutely delicious! The presentation was very nice as well. Do not let the looks of the old gas station fool you! This place is well work trying.

Is the best and freshest food Ive had in a long time. Great place to dine by yourself or with the the family. The food is hot, the conversations are great, The staff are the friendliest around.. If you choose to eat here. I guarantee you will have a wonderful time and a Full belly when you leave....

One of the best places to eat in Stayton, which isnt saying much, but it still deserves 5 stars by local comparison. Friendly staff and short wait times. Try the Hot & Spicy Tofu. Ive been coming to this place for years and will always come back.

Best teriyaki, for that matter, best food Ive had in Stayton. Great portions for a reasonable price. The lunch specials are always a good deal. The staff is friendly and the building, although an old gas station, is kept very clean.

The food is great and the staff is very friendly. The teriyaki sauce tastes fantastic. They serve some sushi which is actually pretty good! You can call your order ahead of time too. The owners are great people!

Absolutely love the salmon teriyaki. Its always moist with the slightly crisp sear of the teriyaki in the top. Delicious with the rice or even the yakisoba noodles.

The wait staff is rude and presumptuous, it was very loud inside no isulation due to the gas station building. food was ok, but wont go back due to the Staff.
