This is a cute little restaurant downtown. The staff is friendly and presentation of the food is lovely. Before going I had read a lot of good reviews about the place so I was very disappointed when the food did not taste very good. I ordered the pho and papaya salad, so this review is focused only on those two dishes. The pho was the biggest disappointment. On the menu it said that it was a Vietnamese style pho, but it was actually very far from being that. The broth tasted like tom yum and there was broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper in the pho... not your normal basil, cilantro, and green onions. The papaya salad looked delicious when it was brought to our table, but my excitement quickly faded when I took my first bite. It was supposed to be mildly spicy.. There was no spiciness. And it tasted very bland. Needless to say, I couldnt finish my food and left scratching my head.

A few weeks ago my family and I went to Thai Time Asian Bistro. The service was amazing, the waitress was down to earth, personable and honest. As it came time for are food come after waiting a long time we started eating. To my surprise it was horrible. I orderd the pumpkin curry with chicken, when I started to eat It was cold, dont get me wrong I usually like curry but it was so gross I had to switch with my Dad. He started to eat it. After we left both of are stomachs were hurting. My brother ordered the thai noodles. I tasted that as well because he didnt like it. that was worse than my pumpkin curry. As we were leaving the El Coqui Puerto Ricant next to Thai time was hopping. It smelled so good! So I guess next time when we are in the area we are going to have to try El Coqui Puerto Rican.....

I walked into Thai Time Asian Bistro casually with my roommate for lunch and we both were very impressed by the food and the atmosphere. We enjoyed the most delicious plate of noodles very rich and unique tasting. His noodles were chicken and mine were served with tofu, both were great! Our waitress was more than accomodating and the comfort we felt there resonated so much we sat and talked for probably an hour after ironically only expecting to "pick up lunch and leave". I recommend this place highly! Since then Ive also tried the Pumpkin Curry Chicken, delicious!!! Thank you Thai Time Asian Bistro!! :)

Ehhhh. Santa rosa isnt a mecca for great "ethnic" food. The one ethiopian spot will give you diarrhea 9 out of 10 times. I was hoping this thai spot would surpass thai pot as Im kind of bored with that and loohna (speeeling is off Im sure" thai. Lemme say. Nope. Id give this place a 4 out of 10 for Thai food. That being said, thai food is almost always tasty, so in the realm of other places to eat 6 out of 10. Your better off going next door and getting something super yummy. The puerto rican joint not the italian. Just being honest, EVERY dish we got at the thai spot was overly sweetened. No good.

I got their Drunken Noodles to go, the price was $13, so they havent updated their pricing on their menu online. Service was decent, for a to-go order... Cant speak to dining in the restaurant. 3 star rating because the food really wasnt very good. The portion size was okay, but it was extremely Bland. I was not asked how spicy I wanted it, and the noodles were quite oily. Not much in the way of veggies in the Drunken Noodles. Not much flavor. This place is all right, I guess, but I probably wont be going back due to the aforementioned issues. Too expensive for what it is.

The food is probably good... but we never got to even order.. the guy who waited on us was effin rude, shor male poss latino guy... could not set up a table for 4 adults and a kid... wants us to sit on a table that is not set up, no table cloth or placemat... and when we decided we wanted to sit on a table that is set up, the waiter was slamming the silverware and abruptly ripped off the placemat he initially placed in the other table.. so we just decided to leave. Thank you rude waiter you lost our business... never again.. no effin star!!!

Watery Yellow curry, had to ask for white rice to have with it. The fried rice was mushy and not like it should have been. The garden rolls where ok and the peanut sauce was good. I have had a lot of great Thai food in Portland. Was interested what the Thai food around here was like. This was probably the worst I have had. Though it could be because I know what great Thai is like. I am giving 2 stars because the staff was nice and welcoming though food was not worth the cost.

Disappointed. I got two the chicken yellow curries to go. Price 31.64 When I got home I opened up the curry containers and the top of the lid was chunky with curry sauce that looked like it was poured over the veggies and chicken. The taste was displeaseing and I order one curry to be a little more spicy and it was way too spicy. It tasted like the added lots of spicy with mixing it in. I will never go back and dont recommend spending money with this Thai restaurant.

My wife decided to try Thai time after finding out the Gary chu was closed on Monday. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was nice and the food was good. I had Rama the king with beef that was very good. We also had the siamese rolls that were crispy. My wife had the sweet & sour beef which also tasted very good. For dessert we had the coconut pineapple ice cream and the mango sticky rice that was green. We will be back. Nice end to a hard Monday.

My husband and I didnt know what to have for dinner on a Saturday night. We wanted to try something new and decided on Thai Time. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Being that we had never been there before we asked for recommendations and everything was delicious and the presentation was charming! The prices were great and we had enough food to take some to go. We had a great time!! We will be back for sure!!

The microwaveable Pad Thai from Trader Joes is much better than this. Granted, its the only dish we had...but it tasted like they flavored it with Tapatio taco sauce--nothing like Pad Thai. Maybe it was a stand-in chef for their normal one, or the wrong kind of sauce was mistakenly used. My rating is based on one dish, but if you have another option for Thai food in Santa Rosa, I would suggest taking it.

Definitely my favorite Thai restaurant. The Tom Kha is amazing! Everything Ive ordered has been great and the presentation is lovely. They are very generous and go above and beyond in good service. I go there often. Most recently for my sisters graduation dinner. We had such a large group we ate family style and got to try almost everything on the menu. So fun and delicious!

Called to order take out at 8:35pm on Friday night and woman who answered said "I think the kitchen said they were closed". I asked, "dont you close at 9?" And she said "yes, ok bye" and hung up :/ Food is ok but their customer service is not.
