THE BEST BURGER IVE EVER HAD!!! The service was fantastic, the layout is cozy and friendly. PLEASE try the burgers AS IS. They are paired on the menu exactly as it should be. To add anything else (pickle, ketchup, tomatoes or any other condiments) would be a DISRESPECT to the burger! Our server, (I dont remember her name, my apologies) was a beautiful woman from Venezuela. She had a cute haircut, glasses and wore a great shade of red on her lips... She was AMAZING!! She had great recommendations, knew how to pair up a meal with drinks, side items, etc. I couldnt have asked for a better experience! Their local beer selection is AWESOME and the price points for the selections are very reasonable for Manhattan. We were visiting from Charlotte, NC~ the food was SO delicious we had to go back on the way to the airport! Thank you for having us. Back Again 03/2017. Still THE BEST BURGER IN TOWN! Anna is the best EVER !!!

This review has nothing to do with the food, which was fine, but rather the honesty and customer service of Black Iron Burger. While visiting NYC for the first time, I accidentally left my credit card in the black folder thingy the waitress gives you with your receipt. I didnt notice it was missing until 4 days later, after I had already returned home from my trip. Imagine my horror, wondering what someone could have been doing with my card for the past 4 days. In reviewing my receipts, I noticed that the Black Iron was the last place I had used it. After cancelling the card with my credit card company, I called Black Iron Burger just to see if perhaps they did indeed have it. The gentleman who answered the phone confirmed they did in fact have it and were holding it safely for me - to my relief. So my thanks to the honest waitress and Black Iron staff who kept it secure, waiting my call.

This was the first time wed tried this burger chain, itd been on my consumption list for awhile but we were never quite in the right area or forgot to try it whilst in the area. As it was I was glad we finally did try it out as it does do a decent burger. My husband tried the Masterpiece (a double patty bacon concoction) and I had the Mushroom Truffle. We both liked our burgers, though I felt the burger had cooled slightly by the time it arrived on the table, but it still tasted fine. We also had some crunchy onion rings and the truffle cheese fries. Though I didnt taste much in the way of cheese on the fries, more salty fries than anything. I suspect they gave us the wrong fries... It wasnt too busy or noisy on a Saturday (late) lunch time, so wasnt annoying on that front. And the service was fine too. Its about on par with the Bareburger chain.

Wasnt impressed with my first experience. The food was pretty good and you get decent portions for the price. the fries arent as crisp as I would like. My waiter was very nice and brought food fast but was otherwise not attentive and sometimes got distracted by the TV. I was one of very few people even in there so this is kind of understandable but it was still annoying. They lured me in with a yelp deal for a "free side," yet when I got there it was not a free side, it was free fries. Plain ones, not seasoned. I was pretty mad about that. Deals should not be misleading and is it really going to hurt your bottom line if you let me get the fries that cost $1.50 more? If so, I feel sorry for your bottom line. Nothing was good enough to tempt me back there. For the money I paid there are a few other spots on that street Id hit up first.

When we arrived in NYC, we wanted to try burgers as it is the home of burgers! We’ve decided to go to Black Iron burgers to give it a try. When we got to the restaurant, the staff were very friendly and they seated us. They also informed us about their special. We ordered the Black iron burger and the masterpiece, we also had the fries with Ai-oil fries. It was way too much food for us. The patty in the burger was spot on as we ordered medium rare, both of it was to die for. We finished both of our burgers. The Ai-oil fries is very rich topped with the sour cream, scallions, bacon pieces and shredded cheese. It was good but two of us can’t polish down the fries at all. I will return to try other item on the menu next time.

Received charges for food not delivered. No one in management will address. I got into the habit of ordering delivery from here every week, and while the food always arrived cold, the burger is outstanding (but small). However, when I started ordering direct through their website, I had two bad experiences with food undelivered. Both times I called, after realizing there was no delivery, and they assured me that they would remove the charges. It never happened. I have twice sent an email and both were ignored. I now have to go through the hassle of filing a dispute through my credit card company. I am disappointed to be losing a good burger place as a result of failing to provide basic customer service.

After 1 month in USA, this is the first place where the meat is tasty, and the burger is incredible!! As they say "nobody beats their meat". 100% recommended! Tras 1 mes en USA, este es el primer sitio donde la carne tiene sabor, y la hamburguesa está buenísima!! Como dice su eslogan "nobody beats their meat". Lo recomiendo al 100%!

The masterpiece burger is just that--A MASTERPIECE! It has applewood bacon and egg on it, but you dont really taste the separate ingredients, it just tastes like the perfect combination of flavors blended together. Order it just the way it is, its perfect! I had two beers also, I think it was called Oktoberfest. It was the best beer I ever had in my life. The fries were delicious too! It was the best meal I had all week that I was in NY. I was surprised that the place was so empty; there were many tables open, and the service was fast. This is a hidden gem in NYC! if I lived closer, I would be there at least once per week for a masterpiece and a few Oktoberfest beers.

I got the Black Iron Burger and onion rings, my boyfriend got the Masterpiece and onion rings and they were amazing. These were the best burgers weve ever had. The onion rings are to die for, along with the dipping sauce. I wish I had ordered the fries instead just to get a taste of both. The service had a bit to be desired--it took forever to get our drinks--but the waitress was friendly. The restaurant was clean and had some damn good music--they played Chet Baker! If youre in NYC, DO NOT miss this place. This is damn good eating. Mmmmm. Well be back, damn you.

Vinimos aqui por un artículo de Carlos Herrera y ha sido todo un acierto. Hamburguesas de calidad 10. La black iron buenísima y la que lleva trufa te deja sin palabras. Las patatas con queso fundido, jamón y cebollino de acompañamiento. El personal muy amable.
