It use to be good about 2 years ago. I went back hoping for the same experience with my lady but it was terrible! Where do I begin? The entrees taste like they use quality meats but their was no-very little flavor. Thankfully there was some sauce on a few of my dishes. The waiter was nice but not good at multitasking bc it would take him forever to come back. Mind you, there was hardly anyone there and this was on a Friday night (in see why now). When we finish dinner it took our waiter 30 mins to get us the bill. When I told him I needed some change (for his tip) they told me they ran out of small change and only had 20s. SMH. What a great concept and at least for a while great execution but unfortunately I dont know how much longer theyll be open if they keep this up.

The food was good, the desserts are just okay, but the drinks ... delicious but not served to the rim of their small glasses. When complaining about a half-glass served cocktail, the waiter that looks like Jesus (turned Spanish) justified it as exact measurements and continued to rebuke it, mentioning that they can only add more juice to their $15 cocktail. Really? I go to all Michelin restaurants in major cities, a mere hobby, and this is the worst justification Ive ever heard. Perhaps a class in customer service wouldve served him better than countering with nonsense, maybe he wouldve received a better tip - not bright indeed! The old midtown location was worthy of a revisit, this new spot isnt.

All the food and drinks were sooo good. I went for a friends birthday dinner so I tasted a few dishes. I ordered the fried plantain rice and the tunapica tartare. I also had a Coquito which was perfect. Only issue was the service was a bit lacking. Dinner was at 9:30 and our food arrived around 11:15ish. Then it took a while for them to process the bill payment (I get it, big group but Id still never waited that long before). But overall the food was splendid, decor was beautiful, and service was not terrible.

Below the average. . What should I mention first... Cold food and too expensive. . I was waiting 45 minutes to be served.When I sent back my dinner because it was ways cold , I had to wait 20 minutes more just to put it on the microwave and bring it back soggy. . Anyway just be aware people. Ps. My menu was : Calamari salad Chino Latino Trestle Leches chocolate cake

Cuban with an Asian twist, The best roast pork with the very best maduros I have ever had, they are the softness on the inside and the crunch on the outside its just delicious, and of course black beans and an Asian fried rice with lettuce and dipping sauce to go with the meal all for just 95 dollars that feeds 3, amazing mohito and Coquito. Must try Thai flan.

Went for restaurant week, the servers are very polite,the food was good. I had calamari with a mix of banana, yuka fries and ribs. The only complaint of the night I had was the lack of service. Im guessing the restaurant was overwhelmed with the amount of people and may have been understaffed. Otherwise Id give this place a try at least once.

Not as good as the old Asia de Cuba...menu wasnt as great as original....the favorites werent there anymore. Atmosphere ok...we wouldnt know though because they sat us next to kitchen not in main dining room. All the greatness of my old beloved Asia de Cuba is unfortunately gone. One bright spot....the lobster mashed potatoes.

This restaurant was "ok". I wouldnt go back there. The food was decent, but not really at the level that I would expect from a high end restaurant in NYC. The service was pretty crappy. At best I would give this a three star rating. There are so many better restaurants in NYC.

We had a reservation for last night,since three weeks ago...And when we arrive, its closed advicing they have a private event. No phone call,no email,no message,to cancel our reservation.from a restaurant like this, you cannot expect something like this.so disgusting.

This restaurant is a very nice looking place. We were seated at the middle. We ordered the Tunapica tartare and Short rib Vaca Frita. Both were good, delicious, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed our company as well as the dinner.

Terrible. Half the menu was not available. The other half you wish was not available. Atmosphere a depressing reminder that 1997 was 20 years ago. Just no reason for a place like this to exist.

Went here for restaurant week and it was fantastic. The tuna tartar appetizer was unbelievable, served in two crunchy shells. Food was worth the hype and staff was very attentive.

The appetizers where amazing although the service was horrible and the entree was underwhelming. Scallops where not cooked properly and the dessert was flat. Would not recommend
