Had lunch there yesterday, the staff were not friendly. When my friend asked what type of soda they had, instead if saying Pepsi, she turned her menu over and pointed to the drinks section. The server was no more friendly. I ordered a Cobb salad, it only had iceberg lettuce and much if it was the white cored pieces that were brown. My other friend ordered the Fiesta salad with chicken, it was served with beef. My other friend ordered a Greek salad which looked the best but didnt have the chicken on it as she ordered. I see other reviewers who gave this place 4 and 5 stars but based on our experience yesterday, 2 is a stretch for me.

Today I had the Salmon salad. $12 for a puny piece of salmon that smelled. Half my peppers and tomatoes were slimy. It seems they dice vegetables days before or dont rotate stock correctly. The creamy dill dressing was good. Ive had similar experiences with the southwest salad. Its a little bland except for the (frito lay-style) corn chips on top, and the serving of meat left me unsatisfied.

We have been enjoying the wonderful food at The Mixing Bowl since it opened. We have always marveled at the great attention to detail and the wonderful flavors we have experienced. Never have we received a bad meal especially the Chilled Noodle Pork. We recommend The Mixing Bowl to all our friends!
