THREE OUT OF FIVE STARS--After visiting twice, I still think this place charges too much for average quality food. The first time I had sushi, the second time volcano chicken, crab rangoon and tom yum soup. The soup was too lemony and not spicy enough. The volcano chicken was made from fast food grade chicken. They give you plenty of it, and the first time you have it the batter is nice and crispy. But I would recommend finishing it at the restaurant or giving the rest of it away because its no better than your run-of-the-mill chinese takeout the next day, only you paid twice what you would have paid for some average takeout. The "hell roll" I tried the first time was almost too spicy to be enjoyable. They do have a huge menu that represents a wide variety of Asian cuisine, but that could be just the problem. Maybe through trying to provide so many different types of dishes, they spread the quality thin. You can taste it. Its not bad, though. You wont be terribly disappointed until you get the bill.

Will not go back. What happened to this place it is horrible food and service we had kids with us and it took 25 min to get someone to the table just to take our drink order. One hour later no joke pur food arrived. She tried to make up for it by bringing us crab rangoons on the house but it didnt matter food tasted like it had been frozen and thrown into a frier. It took us 2 hours with 3 kids and 4 adults and they were not busy. Food was sub par sushi rolls horrible. Go to soons in Kenosha if you are looking for good sushi. This place was a waste of money bill was over $200 for what I do not know we only had 2 beers but we waited so long and had other plans so we didnt argue and just left and we paid for our guests as we were so embarrassed at our selection of restaurant. Very disappointed with this place.

I love how the restaurant is separated into two parts, one that is more Japanese-themed, with hibachi tables, etc, and the other that is more Chinese or Korean themed, with bamboo furniture, traditional decor, etc. Even though you can choose from any portion of the menu (which is also nicely divided into geographically based on "traditional" dishes), you can sit in either section - assuming its not too busy. The food is absolutely delectable and always artistically displayed (their special sushi/sashimi/handroll dishes are masterpieces!). And the prices for all of it are reasonable for any budget! The staff is always very friendly and patient (Im sure they get asked 100X per day what kani is LOL). Overall, one of my favorite places to dine in Oak Creek!

My wife and I go to Lotus a few times a year, we really love the place. The workers are always very nice, the restaurant is always very clean. This place is pretty unique because on one side is the Chinese food and the other side is the Japanese side. Ill admit I dont eat Japanese food so this is a bit of a lopsided review. My wife and I went again today, and as always the food was good and hot, we had a great young man there that was very polite and very funny. I had the Beef Tenderloin with Pepper Sauce and I loved it though it was a salty side. Lotus is in a great place, right in front of Kohls in Oak Creek, I highly recommend the place.

Terrible service. Arrived at our table and my water glass had a fortune cookie paper in my water. Was not satisfied with the quality of food I received. I ordered a sushi roll and there was a strange pungent smell to the roll. I tried to take a bite of one of my rolls but realized that the fish was spoiled. My friend ordered something with crab meat in it but found a piece of shell in her food. The service wasnt great either because we had to wait about 30 minutes to receive our bill. Would not recommend this place to anyone who lives around the Oak Creek area.

I have been eating here for about four years and have no complaints. The location is very convenient for me. I usually always have sushi even though I keep promising myself that I am going to give their Chinese food a try. However, I always seem to revert to sushi - which I love - once I arrive there. (I have had tempura a couple of times and have found it satisfying.) My favorites on the sushi menu are Green River and Oak Creek Roll. If you go in between 11 - 2 on a Monday thru Thurs they offer sushi specials that are a bargain.

This was a decent place for sushi when it first opened, and has gone downhill consistently ever since. The waiting staff is rude, and the sushi is carelessly rolled. There is no sense of pride in their presentation. The last two times the waitress served me oolong tea instead of the green tea I asked for, and insisted it was green tea! What a weird lie. There are no options in this part of town, so Ive gone too many times, but they have insulted me for the last time. Sushi prices, fast food quality.

I have to say, this was by far the worst chinese Ive ever had. I got the seasme chicken it was slimy as canned peach and it tasted awful! I had the crab Rangoon with it as well .. with a microscopic portion of cream cheese in it. It deep fried but very soft and cardboard-ish. I dont like to give reviews like these but.. I had to because I just moved here and I was trying to find a new place to grub. an what a awful experience. thanks, no thanks.

I always come back to this place every now and then for sushi since I live nearby, but I havent gone back when I took my little brother out and there were pieces of hair in his sushi! When the waitress was told, she didnt even offer it free or replaced. But then again, how could you stomach eating there after that? It was disgusting. That was the last time I stepped foot there. Youre better off elsewhere.

We just finished (almost) our take-out sushi. Never again will we consume food from here. Gnarley looking ingredients used, I dare you to take a look at whats inside the spider roll ends. One of them was all chewed up. Gah..... Everyone was nice when we picked up the food...or maybe that was them carefully sniggering at me as I picked it up. I still wish there was an option for a negative star rating.

I would have otherwise rated the food as very good, however I had to return a piece of sushi and reject it as an unedible as it had some skin attached to it. With that exception everything else was great. The squid salad for an appetizer with large and plentiful and the sauce was very good. The California roll was nothing other than normal. The fish for the sashimi and sushi was very fresh
