Ive tried this place a few different times because how well received it is by virtually everyone else. Needless to say, I had a very different experience. On to the food... How do you mess up a breakfast sandwich???? Its eggs, cheese and sausage on a croissant, not that hard to make. I would call their "breakfast sandwich", "Old Casserole On a Bun". Im trying to wrap my head around how this place has gotten such rave reviews...I also ordered biscuits and gravy, simple enough, right? Nope. I make biscuits and gravy all the time from home and theyre pretty easy to make, but they just dont understand that sometimes its the simplicity of a dish that makes it so good. I took one bite and almost hurled. On the service... They seem to be great to their regulars, no doubt there. Its much like going into a corner bar that has only had regulars for the last 10 years, they dont want change, they dont want new people. At least thats the feeling that I got. The following is a more detailed description of my most recent service experience: No one wanted to help me when I walked in the door and stood by the register. I had 3 members of their waiting staff come up to the register to enter their orders, only one of them asked if I had been helped and when I said, "not yet", he just walked away. When I finally got a member of the staff to help me, she happily took my debit card to accept payment for my carry-out order, but when she gave me my receipt, she just walked away and didnt say anything to me about where my food was or when she would be back. She proceeded to chat with a coworker for a couple of minutes, then grabbed my food from the back counter (which I did not have access to). It had been sitting there the whole time. I wont be back, and I hope this review helps someone out there to make a better decision than I did for their next meal.

Im only in Wisconsin a week or two every year. Four years ago, I was doing laundry at the laundromat across the street and saw this cafe. I decided to stop in for coffee while waiting on my wash, and the staff was friendly and the shop cute and it was super busy so I figured the food would be good. I decided to try the Healthy Herbi sandwich and it was divine, the veggies were fresh, they dont skimp on the mozzarella, and the garlic aioli a perfect pairing. The price was good for it too. Four years later, I have this cafe bookmarked and every time I go through Wisconsin I always make sure to stop in for food and a coffee. It has never disappointed me, the staff is always exceptional, and this place is genuinely a local gem. Couldnt recommend it enough!

Great coffee house. It is usually pretty busy and it is small, so expect to wait for a table. But, the wait is worth it! The coffee is great! As long as you can tell them what is in your favorite coffee drink and they have the ingredients, they make a great cup of coffee. The food is fresh and creative. I go here when I am sick of the deep fried greasy food. Breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, salads, soups, great food.

Excellent Staff that even includes exceptional attitudes! Prices are perfect for the portions served. Outstanding flavors. Daily Specials are almost always a perfect first or last resort. Perfect for family settings as well as a business coffee stop. Overall I really cant see how you can go wrong or find anything in my heart to complain about. You must at least try and eat here once your visit draws you near!

A superb indie coffeehouse in an unexpected area, The Daily Dose is truly one of SE Wisconsins hidden gems. They serve delicious coffee and espresso drinks, along with freshly made panini and breakfast sandwiches. The scrambled egg, chives and cream cheese sandwich on a croissant is amazing, plus the presentation of the food is tasteful and elegant. Lovely place; I wish I lived closer!

food is great, however service is terrible. sarah took our order, repeated it to us and said the right things, but then proceeded to give us the wrong food. i would not recommend eating at the restaurant, i would rather eat at home. it takes an average of 20-40 minutes to get the food when dining in, and you dont get waited on until about fifteen minutes after you walk in the door.

This is the third time going there and every time its been speedy friendly service, and the food has blown me away each time, simple breakfast yes but they get it done so perfectly (havent had any p.m. stuff yet). The price could not be beat I challenge anyone to find a place with food just as good at a price so cheap

If I were to tell you that The Coffee Pot and Infusinos had a baby, and that baby was born to serve delicious breakfast and lunches, and one day became so good at serving delicious breakfast and lunches this baby opened up its own restaurant and called it The Daily Dose Cafe... I wouldnt be lying.

Great little coffee shop. The menu is extensive & suited to any dietary needs. The beverages are just as capacious & theyll make it any way youd like. My daughter loves the ambrosia white plum milk steamer. Everyone there has been exceedingly pleasant & friendly. Highly recommend!

My favorite breakfast place in Kenosha. They will make your Colectivo coffee or espresso just as you like it. The "Bisculicious" is quite frankly one of my greatest guilty pleasures. The "Awesome Beef" easily lives up to its name. Small setting and great, friendly service.

The sandwiches are so good and the coffee is great. I highly recommend getting a cinnamon roll warmed up. Our server was also fantastic, this is a great place to grab brunch with friends and family.
