Gojos cafe is nicely located at Belvidere and Green Bay, next to Secretary of State office. I visited it with my family yesterday. We were instantly and courteously greeted by our server who brought us glasses of iced water without we even asking for it. This was great! She was very polite and answered all our questions patiently. She asked if we would need more time to order. Our orders were very promptly served. Ravioli and Spaghetti that the kids ordered has perfect tomato sauce with right amount of herbs - oregano and basil and was thick. Vegetable skillet I order could have been a bit better. It contained more of potatoes and less of veggies. I would have liked it a bit hotter too. But it came along with a stack of pancakes and thick, maple syrup. The pancakes were just superb! Spinach Pie and rice my wife ordered was simply delicious. It came with a choice of Salad or soup of day. Chocolate milkshake was great too. Before our main dishes were served, we were also provided fresh bread and crackers along with butter. I would give it a rating of 4.25 out of 5.

The service started pretty good until the food was served. We were missing my daughters food and some pancakes, plus my omelet had cheese when I had ordered without cheese. I can understand the mistakes but the server didnt came back to ask if everything was okay until we were almost done eating. I told her about the missing food and told her it wasnt obviously need it anymore and when she brought the check the the missing meal was included. So when we went to the front to pay we told the hostess that the meal never made it to the table and instead of her being nice about it she look annoyed. If you are a customer you wouldnt want to pay for something that was never brought to you. I used to eat here very often but I am very sorry I chose this place to have breakfast on my birthday.

The food is normally great when you go into the restaurant but If you ever plan on getting delivery, think again. They dont have a regular driver like they claim too. Its the owners father I believe and he is super sweet! Its the fact that every time I call to order for my job (usually a good size order) they tell me our driver wont be here for 3 hours or its going to be a 2 hour wait...WHAT THE HECK RIGHT?! Just got my order I placed about 1.5 hours ago and it is yet again cold and missing the condiments...Different driver this time too. I swear Im surprised this place is still in business. Im just glad my favorite burrito can be warmed up in the microwave and still taste good.

Not the fastest service, waited over 30min for breakfast and the hash browns were mushy even though we asked for extra crispy. My over medium eggs were over easy and hubbys over easy were medium. Too much cheese on the skillet, should have asked for no cheese. Had dinner the other night, slow service also and even after specifically asking for no onion due to an allergy, food came out with onion and had to wait again for new sando. All while one of the owners sat next to our booth barking orders and handling business with his staff that should have been handled off the main floor. Not very professional. Food tasted decent but they need to get their stuff together.

Just found this gem and plan on coming back with the family to try the afternoon or dinner menu. Breakfast was fantastic. I had the meat skillet and it was delicious. The restaurant itself is open and airy and the tables have decent space around them so you dont feel like you are dining with the table next to you like at some other places. Staff is friendly and I was very impressed our waitress gave us separate checks without even asking if that is what we wanted. Lots of places dont like that extra work, but she was a doll. Cant wait to go back and try something else!

This place is beyond amazing. The service is always quick and the food is always incredible. Wide variety of menu choices and at a great price; plates are packed with food and I assure you will leave satisfied and full. It is privately own and even the owners are in on the action, always busy and greeting their customers. My Nana suggests the Clam Chowder while my Mom drooled over their pork chops. No matter what your family chooses, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will be running back for more.

We went here randomly after finding everything else was closed at 10pm or looked sketchy. Boy, what a find! The menu options expansive, including pasta, steak, chicken, sandwiches, soups salad, breakfast food, etc... it even included an all-you-can eat option de jure. The atmosphere and the service were great. Good prices, too. Most entree dishes could be had at $10 or so, with sandwiches and the like much less.

This is a really great place and i would recommend this place by all means to anyone. A perfect bet I would say. The peoe there were great and made sure that your order was aptly to your taste. Debbie attended to me and to add more to her hearty greetings was her service. She made my breakfast experience worthy. Thanks debbie for helping me choose toe right meal.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Boring, outdated, the food has no taste, the baked patato was cold, the ribs looked premade, the managers are extremely rude. I will never ever ever eat there again. They ran out of the special that day also my cream curdled inside my coffee.... Worst experience ever. Our waitress was very apologetic and very sweet..

Terrible, Terrible!!!!!!!! ordered French toast with Fresh Strawberries and they gave me about 1/2 a pound of blob on top of strawberry jam, with old whipped cream that was just so runny. If I wanted strawberry jam I would have order toasted bread!!!!! Waitress wasnt very pleasant and annoyed that I made a comment about the plate. Never again

I called placed a order . When I received my skillet it was a Gojos skillet and it was supposed to have corn beef hash In it there was not any in the skillet. I asked for wheat bread for both things that i ordered and I received white bread. I called to complain and was left on hold . Terrible service.

Very good food at a great price. Staff is friendly, the place is clean and Ive never had a bad meal there once. The one thing I would say is the coffee, although always fresh, is weak. Does not taste like full strength Superior coffee, which is a brand I love. All in all, very good restaurant.

Mash potatoes as hash browns yuk egg shells in my over easy eggs yuk. A big glop of yellow grease in the middle of my cold toast was that cook drunk? How can you mess up a basic breakfast i never got a chance to touch my bacon and I paid for these three bites and left hungrier then i came

The restaurant is very clean and the service is fantastic. I found the food to be mediocre... I had the gyro plate with a salad. Salad with ranch dress was blah... The gyro had breakfast bacon (sweet) that didnt taste great with Greek food. Otherwise I did enjoy eating the gyro.
