I have been eating at Awoke for over 15 years my husband of 14 years had our first date there! We have enjoyed dining there at least once a week ever since! In our house we call there wonton soup shepherdstowns magical healing soup because every time anyone gets sick we just eat the soup and no joke we always feel better in the morning! The have the best food around! So if u want quality and great service for a reasonable price without a doubt u need to check this place out! U wont be disappointed guaranteed!

The Food was disappointing at best. Came it at little past lunch and the place was dead. The only person that was in the dinning room ws the waiter. I got my drink and then took a look at the menu. OMG over $12 bucks for what they called lo mein. (it was Alfredo noodles with nothing that tasted like a good sauce. ) SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!!! Worst place I have EVER ATE!

The numerous times Ive ordered take out or dined in I received good service and good food. They have some of the best sweet and sour chicken Ive ever had. Prices are little high, but you get a lot of food. Dont see why there are so many bad reviews, Ive never had any issues here. Would recommend.
