First time and NEVER again. My 3 children and I went to Casa Mia last night for the first time. A rare occasion for us because I am the only provider of income, run my own business and am barely "making it". So, we get 1 pizza, 2 all you can eat spaghettis, and 4 drinks.......my daughter, 13, gets to the bottom of her 1st plate and there is an eyelash under the sauce. She got nauseated..We tell the waitress....by this point we both had stopped eating and both of our stomachs are queasy! The waitress says" It could be yours." I said"Under the sauce?" The waitress says," Oh yeah, huh." She leaves with the plate comes back eventually....she had terrible service with us. She comes back and says,"We will give you free desert. What do you want?" I said "whatever, make it to go we are both sick over this. We are done eating." She proceeded to ask my daughter what she wanted, listed the deserts. My daughter chose. The waitress went back to where ever..It took her over 10 minutes to box up our stuff...mentioned bringing us a check. But never DID. I got up and had to go and pay at the register. Our 50 dollar check-just our drinks were over $10. Which is not the typical practice there. There were No Sorries! The worst part is that the manager was THERE! We will never go back! I am a networker and I tell everyone including grocery clerks about my experiences! This is the way people know where to spend their precious money. Do not give these people business!

So the only reason I give it a star is because the waitresses were very nice. Aside from that, overall it was pretty disappointing. The bruschetta was unlike anything I had ever had, and not really in a good way. Now I understand that the definition of bruschetta varies with just about every italian restaurant, but this was something else. Bread with tomatoes and cheeze. And thats pretty much it. My salad was nothing more than a plate of lettuce, black olives and cheeze. I asked for extra italian dressing and that turned out to look more like dirty water. The alfredo sauce we got to dip the garlic bread in was basically flavorless. It was like just a white creamy substance. Definately not alfredo sauce. Even storebought would have been an improvement over that stuff. And the pizza. We asked for pesto instead of red sauce. My wife has this thing about tomatoes. So anyway in most italian restaurants that is pretty common. Not here. They looked at us like we had a third eye or something. So it came to the table and I guess since they had never made pizza like that before, it was disappointing to say the least. And the nail in the coffin was the fact that it was all still on our check, even though we had expressed our disappointment with it all. So lesson learned. Wont be going back here again. Which is unfortunate because there arent too many options for itanian food here in Yelm.

Had a craving for Italian food decided to try this place as we have lived in yelm for a few months now. What a mistake. It was almost like it was the first day of employment for all the girls and the one guy that helped us. No customer service skills, I had to walk them through what I wanted with my meal instead of them telling me my options. I had decided on the Spaghetti plate. Added Meatballs and Sausage at $2.50 each. When I got the food the meatballs 2 and a half of them were grey and unappealing as was the 1 and a half sausages that were cut into child size bites for me. Pretty sure the meatballs and sausage were just floated in hot water to make for a quick prep. The actual spaghetti was very mushy and over cooked almost to the point of a ramen pre packaged noodle. The meat sauce hade no meat in it, I was told that it was cooked with meat in it? I guess meat juice qualifies it as a meat sauce. Any how the sauce was very bland. Unfortunately ive had better sauces out of a jar. I may try this place again if its still around but definately not the spaghetti. How bad can you mess pizza a up?

The food is fantastic!! You cant make reservations for small parties though (apparently my group of 6 was a small party) which is very inconvenient since we had an infant with us and we were told there would be no wait but it was packed and super busy when we got there an hour later. They did good though to seat us quickly our wait was probably only 20 minutes even though they told us it would be 30 minutes. I wont come here again when its busy or on a weekend only because its difficult to eat out with an infant as it is so not being able to make a reservation stresses me a bit (keeping a 2 month old happy only lasts so). That is my only complaint. But the food is very good.

SIDE NOTE- they close everyday at 9pm Wait time for seating was no time and a drink. However...I waited 10 minutes for a waitress to return and ask me if ready to order. I timed it on my phone. When I got the check, determined they do NOT honor happy hour drink prices. AND they overcharge of your card...... Ill be reviewing to see when the charge settles.... There are 2 waitresses I prefer due to their customer service abilities, but the waitress I got was rude when I asked if she was working...Sorry Im a local foodie... If this business is not honest and upfront about the cost, I will not return.

Wife and I ate there last week. Woke up in the middle of the night with severe stomach pain. Was diagnosed by a doctor at ER with FOOD POSIONING...Only thing I ate that day was peanut butter toast at lunch and my wife had nothing until she ate their product. So if you would like to give yourself and children food posioning order here. I am so glad my kids wanted a burger from nearby Burger King. Hope there business does the right thing and covers or ER bills, if not small claims court here I come.

Jessica - sorry you had the experience you did. All it takes is one bad experience. However, Id like to offer a very different opinion. Ive eaten at Casa Mia a LOT of times (in Lacey) and always had great food and good service. Ive also eaten at the Case Mia in Yelm - also good on both counts. My least favorite is the one in Olympia but only because the two times Ive eaten there it was full and very noisy. Casa Mia is one of my absolute favorite restaurants!

Always the best from here. Very friendly professional staff. Laid back cozy place to be. Always clean. Love the Spicy Chicken Ceasar Salad and the cookie sundae is the best! Ive been to several events the owner has catered around town and privately in the resturant. We had her cater at a church event. I was so impressed by the overall experience. It was beautifully set up, always kept food hot and ready, seamless clean up. Top notch!

Wait staff incredibly flirtatious, borderline prostitution. I guess thats how they earn their tips. Blond hostess extremely rude. Food tasted ok, I really expected more for the price we paid. Family of four was almost $100. This restaurant was a disaster, and should probably do something about the flies in there. Disturbing!
