I have eaten at alot of Mexican Restaurants in Texas and some in California. So far, out of all of the Mexican Restaurants I have eaten at in the Tacoma/Olympia area Tacos Gaby is right on par with the authentic Mexican food experience and taste. I dont understand the one star ratings . Those who gave that rating need to head south to recalibrate there tastebuds. Toco bell and Applebees are not the standard for authentic Mexican food.

Not my favorite, ordered the three soft tacos one steak one chicken and one pork. The steak taco was the best, pork tasted warmed over from yesterday same with the chicken. Rice and Beans were too salty. The girl friend had a chili Relleno with chicken, she thought the chicken was stems from the chili, all dried out These folks need robert Irvine from restaurant impossible. Was hoping for a good lunch. Wont be back.

Incredible! If you have a big appetite and want to give your mouth a treat, I suggest the burrito mojado! My favorite way is with carnitas and the red sauce. You will not regret it! Im serious, this thing weighs 2.5 lbs and is covered in cheese and a ridiculously flavorful red sauce. Yum! I always forgot to take a picture because I eat it as soon as i get it.

Ive eaten at Tacos Gabys several times and enjoy the friendly service along with the really good food. Its a Mexican hole in the wall type place but it is a clean and comfortable dining environment. Ive also eaten at all the other Mexican restaurants in Yelm and find that Tacos Gabys is far superior. The food always tastes really good and is served hot.

Im picky when it comes to Mexican food... Im from Burien, and you either serve top notch Mexican food like the Ramos family does or you dont make it... Ive been to all the places near Yelm and these guys are the best. Ariba! Ariba! Viva Mexico!

Clean, good food, friendly service. This was my first visit to Taco Gaby. The waitress was very nice and that goes a long way with me!. The service was fast, the portion was fine and the beer was cold. What else can a guy ask for?

Pretty much my favorite thing in Yelm, I place to go orders more often than just should admit! Traditional burrito (chicken) with limes is my favorite right now, the pollo ala crema is pretty good too!

Service was good but I cant recommend this place for the food. The sauce on my entree tasted mostly of ketchup and tin can, and was served piping lukewarm. Drinks were ok. Probably wont be back.
