We stopped in for dinner. They seem to have pretty good specials every night including micros brews for $3.99 on Mondays and Burgers for $5.99. We started with the gizzards which were good, but a bit over cooked. I opted for a Philly cheese steak which was OK, but not great. I also had a cup of chilli which was again just OK. My wife had a cranberry bacon blue cheese salad which was quite good, and my brother had the bacon, blue cheese, chicken salad which was also quite good. Overall everything was pretty good and prices were very fair. The service was pleasant and reasonably efficient. This was more of a family oriented establishment than the name might imply. I liked it pretty well and will likely go back and try it again.

Great local bar & grill. Families welcome to 9 pm for excellent nightly dinner specials such as taco Tues, braut Thurs, ribs Friday, shrimp Saturday. Breakfast special on Sat. and Sun is popular with the locals. Plates are plentiful. Staff is friendly and professional. Service is quick--the minute you walk in the door you are greeted and the order taken,.Clean interior with some picnic size tables for large families. Owner is usually there to greet you. Large parking lot is on Lewis River Road just upriver from the shopping center (Hi School Pharmacy etc) Exit I-5 and go east on Lewis River Road beyond the closed Oak Tree Restaurant. Fat Moose is on the north side of the street.

Exceptional service even when extremely busy. An owner who jumps in and helps out when and where is needed & gives a ton of credit (rightfully so) to his employees. Prices are fair and food is okay. Its not astounding, but its fairly priced for what it is. Good selection of beer/drinks. Outside seating/smoking area. Like most other places, there are portable heaters out there...but never on. More family friendly than I was expecting.

Had a very tasty burger with fries for like 6 or 7 dollars. My brother had a tasty steak for 6 dollars. Incredible. Service is quick and nice, just a really good local establishment, the huge number of people eating at a random wednesday proves this.

Love this little joint!! Had a Fat Moose burger...with homemade chips. Damn tasty. Husband had the Taco Salad. "The best Taco Salad I have ever had!!" Not too far off of I-5 either. Service was prompt and friendly...place is rustic but clean.

You can bring your kids to this restaurant and bar. They have a large menu with salads, hamburgers, fish and chips, and daily specials. They have a full-service bar. They have an outdoor dining and smoking area. This place draws the locals.

Fun, laid back atmosphere. My husband and I took the kids for a late lunch. The place wasnt crowded. Waitress was friendly. Service was quick. Big hearty portions. They also have a kids menu. Worth the money.
