My wife and I gave Kachai Thai Kitchen a try on our date night tonight. I tried the Pa Nang curry, and it was delicious. Chef Binh came around to ask what we thought of our food, and I related that my meal was very delicious, but that it was much milder than a favorite place Id frequented before moving to Poulsbo. He explained how he makes it, asked me some questions regarding what I like, and said hed be back shortly. He soon returned with a bag of Pa Nang to go (for midnight, he explained) and a little sauce dish with a sample of Pa Nang he made to suit me. It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of spiciness, and even more delicious. He also instructed me how to order it next time to receive the same. I was very impressed that he took the time to talk to me regarding what I thought, and even more; that he clearly listened and was interested in closing the loop to be sure that Id be happy to come back. Im certainly grateful to find such places, and indeed I will be going back; as often as I can manage!

Went there in December and thought it was good so I returned for my birthday dinner yesterday... I brought all my close family members hoping everyone would like it. Food we had like the BBQ Chicken and Heavenly Beef were deff 3.5 to 4 stars, however the veggies were under-cooked, like not cooked? ... Beware of ordering a cup of hot water... there is a $1.5 charge for hot water? In my 52 years of life, Ive never been charged for hot water? We werent told there was a charge for the hot water upon ordering it; that would have been nice, and when I asked about the charge, I got a very defensive retort back from the waitress about it costing money to wash the mugs..? Ok, well maybe they should up the cost of their meals if they have to charge for water. Hmmm, so sad, I really did want to love this place. Also, it is cold in the restaurant, both times Ive been there. So, if you go, dress warm. I most likely, will not be going back.

Was very excited to finally try out this restaurant and sadly very disappointed. I ordered the Panang curry 3 level and it was bland and flavorless. Tried my girlfriends green curry and it was so sickening sweet she didnt want to take the left overs home. I gave them one more shot later in the week ordering the Basil Chicken with the same results. Pretty lame...veggies were over cooked and the dish lacked seasoning and flavor. I wanted to love this place, I really did. Ill keep making Thai at home before I make the drive again. Sorry Oh, and I totally agree about the rice....1 serving should accompany the entree.

Food was good, but usually have long wait to order and longer to get served. Busy place several different times weve tried. Exceptional yet simple decor. Would like to go back more because of convenience near Central Market, but probably wont because of the extremely high noise level - even when not quite as busy. These days I find I enjoy eating out more when my ears arent ringing when I leave. Plus the noise makes it hard to have a relaxing conversation. When this building had an Italian restaurant the noise was rarely a problem.

I am a big fan of Thai food and this is the best Thai food Ive found in Kitsap County! The service was fantastic, the woman was attentive and helpful. They have gluten free options, you just have to ask. The only reason this wasnt 5 stars is the restaurant itself. Its nicely decorated, but the open floor plan with bare ceiling and walls make it incredibly noisy! It was very hard to hold a conversation or hear the waitress. I might take the food to go next time, but I will definitely be back!

We went this evening. I had Heavenly Beef. It was very good!! The beef was tender and melted in your mouth. I asked for 3 of 5 spicy, and it wasnt spicy. My wife had the Three Flavor Trout. It was good. She asked for 0 of 5 spicy and it was spicy. So, we think the orders got mixed up when it came to the amount of spice. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends. The meals are a great mix of flavors and ingredients.

My co-workers and I love their food, however, their take-out service is fairly awful. The soup or salad that is supposed to go with the lunch they no longer give to those ordering take-out. They forgot my rice one time but charged me the $2.00. Now, this last time, they charged almost $6 for the rice! Their attitudes and wait times are inconsistent.

Food is good. Tonight I ordered carry out, I arrived at the time they gave me. After waiting 15-20 minutes I was asked if I had been helped. Clearly I was forgotten. When I told them I was waiting on a carry out order, they checked the kitchen and returned with my food. Not impressed with the service

Got the garlic chicken, wife got the garlic shrimp. Chicken was dry for my taste. Shrimp was good. Broccoli would taste better if it was cooked longer to soften up more. The sauce was good. It was nice that you chose your spiciness. Scale of 1-5. It was ok.

Excellent food+service; we had spring rolls, yellow curry chicken, and cashew chicken. Generous meat portions and perfectly cooked vegetables. Prices are reasonable. As good or better than many in Seattle, Portland, SanFran, etc. Go early or wait in giant lines.

Food is great, but you have to get here early for sticky rice. Ive been here 4 times and have never had it. They always say they should make more, but they dont -1 star for that. Otherwise a solid 4 star
