Little place to eat and set off the road so you kinda have to look out for it. The place is a lacking in decor but its clean and inviting once you walk in. The waitress was very friendly and full of smiles. The food was great! I was stuffed after ordering the jagerschnitzel and the pan fried potatoes. Great seasoning on the potatoes, these were some of the best potatoes Ive ever eaten. The meat was cooked perfectly and again the seasoning was great. The others I was with also enjoyed their food but said the goulash could have been better but was served in red sauce. I wanted a dessert as they looked fresh and AMAZING! However, they didnt have anything that resembled a German dessert. They had a cheesecake and some cappuccino cake, they did look really good but I was in the mood for some German stuff. I will be back here when Im back in town. Prices were decent for lunch and the amount of food you get, about $10-13 for a good sized meal.

The folks that own this restaurant are wonderful, and so is their food. I recommend that you save room for dessert! The desserts are made from scratch in-house and are excellent, and not overly sweet. If youre too full, take a slice of dessert to go for later instead. They have tasty German beer and they have Coke products. If its your first time, get the Doner Schnitzel with Feta with mashed potatoes. If youre not a big fan of German food (what?), get the meatloaf; its very good. My favorite is the Jagerschnitzel, which is schnitzel in brown mushroom gravy, with mashed potatoes. The Doner Kebab is huge and wonderful. Be sure to get a punch card when you pay for your meal because you will be going back again.

I really wish there would of been more info on this place. Went there wanted to relax it was crowded, I was like ok thats fine ... Then I got a look at the menu, very little on there almost no explanation of what things were and the cheapest thing there was 8 bucks for what I think it was a German sausage and sauerkraut. Most things were 12 bucks. And very noisy it sounded like someone was making more sauerkraut in the back and the banging was just ringing through the small restaurant.

This place isnt much to look at, but the food is pretty great. Schnitzel as big as your head served with a side of sauerkraut, or german-style bratwurst. German imports, too. Locals enjoy this place because of the comfortable, no frills setting and the traditional comfort food. This particular night, the service was exceptionally slow, but I chalk that up to the fact that the place was packed and it was the day before Thanksgiving.

Id always seen this olace as i lived in area and finally took a dish for a spin. I have no experience with german anything but the customer service is awesome as our beautiful waitress is very friendly and helpful to assist you in their menu. It all taste really authentic this is my second time here. Definetly have to experience your taste buds at this place. My friends even came after closing and helped them out no problem.

If you havent visited here yet, you really owe it to yourself. Its got a charming "hole in the wall" feel. The food is front and center. They make your food to order, so the wait can be long, but its worth it. The food has a traditional "moms kitchen" presentation. The schnitzel is fantastic and the the sides are very good. If a traveler, it feels welcoming and familiar. If your local and havent gone yet youre missing out!

Really good German food. The schnitzels were great with fresh homemade sauce (we got jaeger and döner schnitzel). Both were very good. The staff was very friendly and had prompt service. Good selection of German beers and wine! And half off for fathers day!! Wish I had tried this place sooner :) the atmosphere is a little lacking but the food and great service makes up for it.

Food is great and staff is good but since there is only one waitress and apparently only one cook it can take awhile to get seated... Or drinks... Or your salad that you ordered 40 minutes ago.... Or your food. Ordered food at 4pm and not knowing if I can make it to my 6:30 race a few miles away on base with the chance to eat. Thats how long the service took.

Very friendly mom and pop place! :) We came in with a group of 10, and everything was great!! A small place like this, with hard working business owners, you have to expect great things to take time :) the beer was reasonably priced too which is great :) was sad the spinach and feta brat wasnt available, but they make them their selves, so maybe next time

This was the best Jaeger Schnitzel Ive had! The fried potatoes were moist and flavorful. The cake was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. They all seemed like they really liked their jobs which always makes it a better experience for the customers! I highly recommend the German Diner. I will be back soon.

If you have never been to Germany, you dont have a clue how good this food is. The Jaeger schnitzel is out of this world. The service is great, but remember they cook everything to order. It takes time. If you dont want to wait, go to McDonalds.

Love this place--authentic, hole in the wall joint. Food is fresh, never reheated. Must try her homemade sauerkraut with bacon, house salad dressing and cakes! My favorite dish is the Schnitzel with garlic cream sauce and spatzel.

first time there, food was great and atmosphere was nice and quiet.Recommend the onion schnitzel or the jaeger schnitzel(if you like mushrooms) for first timers.its like the German equivalent chicken fried steak.Good comfort food.

This place was amazing! The döner was my go to food when I lived in Germany and I was very pleased that they tasted exactly how I remember!! Nadene (sp*) was an excellent server and I will definitely be going back!!!

Been going here for years and never disappointed. Service IS slow only because it takes time to cook awesome food like this. Cakes are authentic European desserts, not Americanized and of course the beer is good.

I came in with a very large party. We called a head and were ready to receive us. The staff was awesome and kept us well updated on the progress of our food. Which is delicious. They deserve a big shout out!

The staff was not only nice, but they were also very personable. Good was awesome. Beer choices made it hard to decide on just one, so I will have to go back until I have tried them all.
