This is the most legit Mexican restaurant we have found so far in Vancouver. We moved from CA but a couple of years ago, and one of the things we have most missed since arriving is good Mexican food, which is a practically a staple back in our previous state. Everyone knows that the best restaurants are the small, dingy-looking ones and Don Pedro fits that description very well. Its a pretty small area with a few tables and booths to sit, with a TV in the corner playing telenuevas and a load grill in the back. There menu is large. You can find pretty much any kind of Mexican food that you like, with any kind of meat that you like. I usually go with the web burrito which does not disappoint. My wife loves this place and tries to get us to go here whenever we decide to go out. In my own opinion, the food is good, but not the best Ive ever had, therefore I cannot give it the full 5 stars, but if like us you crave good Mexican food (which is tough to find in this very Americana town) then give Don Pedro a try.

Very suprised how flithy the restaurant was!! Took my daughters out to dinner last night 2 of my daughters sat down and noticed ants every where on the booth/tables so we moved tables....we noticed they had a lot of fruit flies, I would just wave my hands to get them away from my food! They just started to land on our food : ( We managed to eat 1 taco, my daughter could not eat because she was so grossed out so we just up and left. Don Pedros in Hazel Dell Is CLEANER I dont know what happened to this place! Dont know if there was a change in ownership. We were very disappointed....... Seriously this place needs a INSPECTION!!

This place continues to disappoint. I tried to order though the drive through window but the girl taking the orders didnt understand a simple question about what comes in a particular item. So I backed the van out of the drive through and went inside. She couldnt understand me plain English there either. My chimichanga was waved in the general direction of the deep fryer just long enough to get it greasy instead of crispy the way I like it. As for those who rate this place higher my guess is that they are all stoned with the munchies and just dont know any better.

I used to come here often about 11 years ago (I still frequent Don Pedros in my area) I Hadnt been there since until this last weekend & it was just as good as I remember it, if not better! I highly recommend the 3 meat breakfast burrito, its amazing! I always get an extra one to take home for later, they have great tacos too. The staff is very friendly & the food is served fresh & quick! If you havent tried this place, you definitely should. And the drive through option makes it very convenient

My family has been eating here since 2008; its AMAZING! Don Pedros is real, authentic Mexican food (unlike Taco Bell, Taco Time, etc.) with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I have always received outstanding customer service here, there is sometimes a wait, but that just tells me the food isnt sitting under a heat lamp! We live out in the Gorge now, and every time we are in Vancouver we make it over to Don Pedros!

I went through the drive thru. I ordered pork tacos and when I got home discovered they were beef,at first I was upset until I ate one.. they were so delicious. The restaurant was clean and the customer service was awesome! I definitely will eat here again and again and again my new favorite place.

I eat here all the time. Their breakfast burrito is the best in the area. Unfortunately today I found an alarming amount of hair in my burrito and carnitas taco. I know that the reality of eating out involves a little bit of hair weather its seen or not but this was bad. Come on guys!

The food here is amazing. I would suggest coming earlier in the day though. It seems like they recently got some new employees who are not quite as good as the older staff. The newer staff work in the afternoon. Even then the food tastes great.

The chicken taquitos are to die for! Their sauces are mind blowing (gets freakin hot) but oh so good you dont even care about the burn. Could be a little better kept honestly it looks run down but other than that the food is delicious.!

Went through the drive thru to get a breakfast burrito and they charged me $12 for it when its only $4. I came back later to get my money back and they were rude and denied that it even happened. Muchas is just as good without the drama.

Tacos are tasty, simple and cheap. The extras you get with it are awesome; carrots, jalepeños and sauces, and to top it off the staff is always nice and very accommodating! Everything here is affordable and no frills.

I can only judge the tacos, not the other dishes. And they were gross! The chicken was bad, the lettuce was bag salad complete with carrots, and bagged shredded cheese. I get fresher ingredients at Taco bell.

Chimichanga was drenched in a red sauce. Rude employees stated that is how they make it. Odd that a deep fried menu item has a sauce. Not normal.
