If Im looking for a local sandwich I never look farther than City Sandwich in downtown Vancouver. They are frankly the best sandwich shop in town, the owner and staff are over the top friendly and they know that my lack of planning ahead and bringing a lunch from home means I will be ordering a sandwich over the phone....and picking it up minutes later. My biggest suggestion? Run dont walk to City Sandwich!

Wow ! What a sandwich. This place rocks, try the marble rye on your sammich, it is killer. Located in the heart of bustling downtown Vancouver, this is the spot to go for a tasty lunch. Love the decor, love the style, love it all. After you are done with lunch you can mosey over to beautiful Esther Short Park where they have dolphins swimming in the pool.

Most of the staff seemed nice during the lunch rush, but the lady behind the counter snapped at me when I asked for an espresso, saying they didnt have them. Perhaps they should take down the espresso menu board that was behind her? Maybe we were both having bad days, but that ruined my first impression of this business.

Really great sandwiches. I am constantly seeking out a good deli sandwich, and this is far and away my favorite. The meat and bread are as fresh as can be, and are like they were cut and baked that day. Just delicious, and I wish the only one wasnt all the way downtown. Highly recommend.

I just flew in from San Diego CA, hungry af with a need of delicious sandwich. Found this spot and my hunger needs where met. The roast beef sandwich w/ provolone is da bomb along with service. This is my new spot when it comes to sandwiches.

I have been very disappointed. I have ordered lunch to be delivered to the office several times, found the food to be lacking for the price. The staff was rude, the Chili was terrible and be very careful when you order a salad.

If you go during the lunch hour, its wise to plan for an additional 10/15 minutes. This is not because of bad service, its just a very popular spot. Great sandwiches, very filling, good value. Tullys coffee, too.

#15 Sandwich topped high with meat $7.50. More expensive if you start adding on items, sides, etc. Ill be back for sure. May want to avoid times when they are preparing a catering orders.

These sandwiches are good af. The bread is delivered daily and really "makes" the sandwiches. If you really want a treat, try the egg salad + pastrami. Its extra $$ but totally worth it.

Great sandwich shop. They give you generous helpings of meat, really fresh bread, and very friendly service. I often call ahead to get a sandwich and then walk over to pick it up.

Good sandwich for sure. You can request anything toasted if you want. Though be sure you know this isnt a Sub Shop it is just regular sandwiches. The decor inside is pretty cool.
