Ok, let me start from the beginning. Ive come to realize that reviews are very important for places, so Ive been more willing to take the time and write reviews for places. I notice little things in restaurants or places I visit which all come together to make one big review. We arrived here and waited a typical 10-15 minutes to sit down, a usual time to get a seat at a more "high end" restaurant. We were sat down by a welcoming hostess. We looked over our menus and figured out what we wanted within about 3 minutes. Well, about 20 minutes later, our waitress finally showed up and said "oh, Im sorry, I didnt see you there" yeah, ok. She walked past us about 3-4 times. She definitely didnt see us sitting in her section, laughed that one off. So we ordered our food and it took about 10 minutes to come out. We also ordered two wine, it took literally 15 minutes to bring out two glasses, or let me say half glasses of wine out to our table. In that amount of time I could have went into the mall ordered from subway have them made me a sub, go and sit down to eat it, walk back to my seat in cheesecake factory and maybe just MAYBE our wine would have made it back to the table. Well, Maybe the food taste will cover for the endless wait time for service in general and our wine taking so long it felt like they probably just made homemade wine in the back and had employees mashing the wine/grape mixture with high boots in a giant tub. Well, we start eating and of course they didnt bring me my mashed potatoes on my plate, I was already expecting something like that to have happened.. But not even one minute later they come out with another plate of food, and they tell my wife "oh sorry, we brought you the wrong steak, our apologies" HOW DO YOU BRING THE WRONG DISH TO A TABLE? so they take the plate that she originally had, only one bite taken from it, and Im sure they just threw it away. Im definitely a huge fan of a restaurant throwing away a perfectly good plate of food..... Yeah, definitely.... So we ate and ordered cheese cake, I mean, you have to get cheesecake when you come here, right? Oh, by the way, it took about 15 minutes to bring out our cheesecake also. But I was already used to the length of time this place took to do anything. So, heres the climax of the story! I know what you are thinking, how could it get any worse? Well, here it goes, we get home and about half an hour later are ready to eat our cheese cake.. They are delicious of course, who doesnt love cheesecake? Well anyways, I get halfway through mine and low and behold I get this little string feel forming in my mouth.. I pulled out probably a 10 inch long dark brown or black hair. Ive never gagged so much in my life. This was the most disgusting horrible gross down right horrendous place Ive ever been to. I cant even begin to describe the amount of hatred towards cheese cake factory I have. If anyone wants faster service and better tasting food Id choose jack in the box over this place any day of my life from here on out.

We took our girlfriend from SC to lunch. She had never been to Cheesecake Factory and was very excited. It was not busy at all being as it was about 2 p.m. The service was lousy and slow. I ordered the chicken piccata and my husband ordered the fish and chips and my girlfriend ordered half turkey sandwich with clam chowder. They brought my chicken piccata out and we sat there waiting another 10 minutes before my girlfriend got her sandwich and chowder and my husband got his fish and chips. No excuse for not serving those meals together. My girlfriend sandwich and soup should have come out in a timely manner along with the fish and chips and the chicken piccata. I dont understand why my chicken piccata would come out first and then we would have to wait 10 minutes for their entrees. And Im not exaggerating about the 10 minutes I actually started timing as soon as I got my chicken piccata. The clam chowder was horrible like they had dumped a cup of thyme spice in it and that is all you could taste. The fish and chips were equally bad. The fish looked like little end strips and pieces of fish with a bunch of batter around them. My pasta with my chicken piccata was gummy and stuck together. Three times my husband had to ask for ketchup for his french fries but finally he gave up on that. I did manage to get a bus girl to get him ketchup to eat with his now cold fries. When our server finally checked on us, I explained about how bad the fish was and the clam chowder. She said " I will get a manager." The manager came over and offered to have some more fish cooked for my husband. So we waited and two more pieces of fish were brought to the table. These pieces were almost burnt being way over cooked and dry but they were a little bigger than the scraps of fish from his first order. The manager never returned to check on us but the server did come back to check and we told her how bad the second order of fish was. Nothing was done to make it okay. I have never been to a restaurant where they wouldnt follow up and try to make it okay. At the very least the manager should have just knocked off the fish and chip meal. We took cheesecakes home because we werent going to sit there and wait forever. We will not be returning to Cheesecake Factory for meals in the future because of not only the lousy service but the sub par food. The only good thing was the cheesecake but that is not a big enough draw for us to go back. The manager needs to be spoken to about how to appease guests when there is a problem because she did not handle it well at all. Of course, I shared our experience with friends & family. I discovered others citing the same problem with food not being brought to table at same time. This is such a no no at a restaurant.

I went there with my family tonight for the first time. First off, the food we had was excellent. They got the order for one of my sons wrong, but the waitress and manager came out, apologized, and made it right. Our waitress, Hollie, was excellent. She checked on us, refilled our drinks repeatedly, and made certain we had what we needed. That said, another person by the name of Hussein brought my other sons meal and another dish that we did not order (the one they got wrong). My daughter wanted to make certain that he knew what her order was so that he would not think that the wrong order belonged to her. He shot back with a, "I know! Ive only got two hands!" To say the least, that was a shocking reply and unworthy of a professional operation. Moreover, while we were waiting to be seated, our sons were watching the workers at the cheesecake serving area just to have something to do. One of the servers, Angela, was extremely rude to them. She told one of my sons to not touch the counter "because thats where we put the food." No problem there, so my son politely complied. She then said, "Dont touch the food!" Neither of my sons had touched any food or were even acting like they were. They were simply standing there. They said she then kept watching them as if they were some criminals waiting to poke her precious cheesecakes. Had I known at the time what was happening, I would have said something to her. Although the food was excellent along with our waitress, the overall customer service was very poor. Management needs to remind its employees that its the customers who pay them. They should act more professionally toward those who decide to patronize their establishment.
