While the food may not be as authentic as straight down home Mexican food, and not as incredibly high class in terms of flavors as Cosme in NY or Topolobampo in Chicago, (tiny portions up there by the way) its straight delicious for one such as myself. Lets start first off with service: I was greeted with a smile upon entrance and promptly given the requwlest of seating, between the bar and the resteraunt proper. (It was gloomy and showery so the outdoor seating was closed) However she said "Enjoy your meal!" In a pleasant way, I was not informed who would be my waiter, nor anything else. Just seated, an "Enjoy!" And wandered off back to the front. Not sure if thats just how it is, but its not cool. However, my waiter Juan sold me on the service staff. Jovial, quick to address my needs, and definitely upbeat. Even asked the apparently rare question of, "would you like your appetizers first, or with the rest of your meal?" So extra props for you sir. Food: I ordered the chimisliders (beef) and the steak enchilada, and the fried ice cream. (They were out of the chocolate enchilada much to my disappointment. I guess I eat too slow. Haha.) The chimisliders were good, came out about 10 minutes after my order, was hot, well-seasoned and good all around, though nothing too special aside that it was "Good." The enchilada however exceeded my expectations. Some places just have a mushy squishy mess, drenched in sauce without a care. This place however was much much better. Each ingredient upon cutting it open was where it should be, no Pico all over the place, only on top and in a decorative fashion, the sauce was just right, each ingredient inside was done correctly and seasoned, the steak was cooked just right for the purposes of an enchilada, and overall, very VERY well done. And the size was... very appropriate for the price. I could only eat half of the thing. So its not only a good reccomendation, but a good deal. (Unless youre a taco bell kind of person, where you can get like... 8 taco things for the same price... but then why are you at a nice resteraunt?) Finally dessert. Whats a nice meal without something sweet? Speaking of, Juan just came by with a plastic bag for my meal, thank you. But yes. The fried ice cream.... well, Im unsure as to what they coat the ice cream in, its something akin to Corn Flakes or something to that extend. So its not a fatty batter. Its quite a large amount of ice cream, Id estimate about two-three large scoops. A little cheri, and a sopapilla on top. (Sopapilla are those fried puff pastry things coated in cinnamon sugar) so Im definitely brushing my teeth when I get home. Environment? Its very.... Mexican? I guess? If youre here for the atmosphere, you wont get it. My particular seat was semi dark, but not too dark. Its got a ... Half shade down kind of lighting. Music is nice, and theres a good amount of walking space in the aisles. Nonetheless, I give this place a 4/5. I reccomend stopping by and trying the food.

Came here for my birthday... worst decision! I ended up with the most unprofessional young girl in the history of servers. While taking our order she would start talking to other servers (keep in mind Im still trying to give her our order) then she told us to hold on and walks away for 5 mins. When she came back I was finally able to tell her 2 of the 5 orders before she walked off again. The last time I told her the last 3 orders and she left. We waited 15 mins before I flagged her down to ask what happened with our drinks. Her response "oh sorry I forgot", she brought only 2 drinks!! I eventually flagged a tall young man who was working on another side and he returned within 3 mins with the 3 drinks. Finally after 34 minutes our food comes out. But heres the catch, she only put in 2 meals so the other 3 guests including my young nephew had to wait another 15 mins for their food. Who puts in half an order of 4 adults and 1 child?! When my nephews nachos came the cheese cooled off so all the chips stuck together, he wouldnt eat it. When we brought it to her attention she said "oh sorry" and walked off, she didnt even offer to replace it. When we finished our crappy meals and asked for the check she took 10 mins to get, we ended up giving the payment to another server. Needless to say she got no tip and none of us wants to ever come back.

Ive been coming to the Azteca in tukwila for years. The staff is usually very friendly and accommodating. Today one women in particular was very rude and extremely stingy. I ordered a salad with no meat and queso dip. Usually with to go orders they will give u two sides of chips, one with the queso dip, and one complimentary with the salsa. Today they only gave me one bag of chips and two measly sizes of salsa. They give you a large side of salsa that is free refills along with the chips in the restaraunt. I specifically asked for 4 sides of dressing with my salad, as the salad is large and their sides of dressing are tiny. This old lady brings me out one side of dressing. When I ask for more she says I need to pay extra. Umm...first off u give more dressing in the restaraunt.... 2nd off I got no meat on my salad but u charged me full price...3rdly the mushrooms u gave me on my salad were brown and not fresh at all...How about u take it out of the 15 percent tip I left u on a to go order u old hag

1st off, I got an unwelcoming look from only 1 wait staff but was quickly seated by another, my waitress was very kind and pleasant(most there are). Ordered, food arrived relatively quick, its appearance basically matched its flavor and mouth feel, somewhat bland(tortilla shell of the enchiladas and rice) but the chicken filling was better. Worst thing: after eating a few bites my stomach started to churn, yuck! after taste was watery like some of it was frozen at one point. Bottom line: food is partially to highly processed oh and very salty tasting too, never a good sign. The atmosphere thumbs up but food thumbs down, sorry guys. Need a new chef there mos def!!

My main complaint is that they advertise that they serve their fajitas with grilled onions and red/green peppers. What a joke. While there WILL be a whole cut up onion served, if you added all of the pieces of pepper they serve you still would not even have a quarter of a pepper. So really, you get fajitas with one grilled onion and a couple of pieces of peppers. Weve eaten there for years and this is how they always serve their fajitas. Just letting you know!

My family and I really like Azteca. This place is very well lit with a lot of natural light. It is also affordable with very good sized portions. They also make the most unbelievable homemade salsa which is served complimentary before your meal. This salsa is spicy, fresh and the tortilla chips are delicious! My two favorite meals are the carne asada and the fish tacos. Give it a try if your near Southcenter Mall.

Went to have dinner with my family and every thing went wrong. The service was terrible the food was worse. We all (4) were served the wrong plates that we ordered, we were all served 10+ minutes apart. The quality and taste was horrible. The only thing that was good was the 1 beer I had. And we were still obligated to pay for all this screw up. Never going here again. The waiter made me feel horrible.
