This deli is an abomination to Italian food! The owner servers half fresh half rotten salads, they are over priced, and under seasoned. I went in and bought three crab cakes, and one of them was soggy and on the verge of molding. after my experience at this deli I read reviews about a previous health score, that states that this deli had a severe vermin infestation, which is now totally apparent do to the lack of owners severe negligence and obvious disregard of common sense health protocols.

REALLY UNIQUE PLACE , but Im surprised at some of the negative reviews and really happy about the positive feelings and excellent reviews that PastaGina has received on the Google review site .... An average of 4.2 speaks for itself and all the hard work and careful planning to make only the best foods out of the best ingredients for customer of PastaGina only confirms the really GREAT REPUTATION that PastaGina has in the Bay Area ... GO GINA !!!!!

My wife called ahead to confirm we could get pasta and other items with no chesee explaining that we were at ucsf for my 5 year olds chemo. I took the $15 lift down there and when I get there they tell me they cant do the order. Nice!! I spoke with the girl but it was the male that my wife spoke with. Nice waste of $30 on lift and 1hr of my time thanks.

This is a hidden gem. You can get their specialty sauces to go with the pasta and fresh bread. I have to say I was very surprised to with the crawfish pasta sauce. It is super yummy. Dont get too carried away, the sauces are made fresh so get what you can finish off within a few days.

Fantastic tasting, high quality ingredients, helpful staff, locally owned. So glad we found it. You should check it out for their fresh pastas, pre-made and ready to bake lasagnas and their dips. Oh and you can buy fresh ingredients like eggs, basil and meat too.

Decent small local deli with foods and wines imported from Italy and elsewhere. Deli foods seem a bit pricey considering the portion sizes, but probably not that much different from nearby Whole Foods in that regard.
