TL;DR - We are not going to eat at Red Robin restaurants anymore. My fiancé and I went to the Tacoma location tonight for dinner. I ordered a whiskey river bbq chicken burger with garlic fries, and she ordered a bruschetta chicken burger with garlic fries. Both her piece of chicken and my piece of chicken tasted like a MICROWAVED PATTY. The bbq chicken burger came out dry with very little bbq sauce on it. The crispy onion rings on it were crunchy and dry, which reminded me of putting potato chips on a pb&j sandwich. My fiancés chicken burger was supposed to come with avocado spread on it, but all we could see after peeling back the bun was VERY LITTLE green color. It was as if someone scraped the absolute last of the avocado spread from the inside of the container and didnt bother to get more. On top of this, the herbed garlic "FIRES" (seriously, this is what the electronically printed receipt says), were BAD (not to mention we were charged $0.99 extra per burger). They were a mix of potato chips and chalky mush. The "garlic" that comes on it, is GARLIC POWDER. It tasted like what you could imagine... Like sprinkling garlic powder on plain potato chips. Unfortunately for Red Robin, we are not going to visit any of their restaurants any more.

I attempted to place an order to go. I was in downtown Puyallup when I first called. Whomever designed thier phone system did not have great customer service in mind. It hung up on me 3 times after it said to call back later because they were busy. I kept calling back, was placed on hold without even being greeted. Then after I was on hold for 10 minutes I hung up and called back. This time they did answer, however I was placed on hold as I made the rest of my drive from Puyallup to Tacoma. I went inside and they were not busy. Frustrated I watched as the bartender did everything but answer the phone. After 10 more minutes I asked for a manager. The manager was great. If everyone working there had her attitude the place would be great. Problem is that they dont. The manager paid for our meal. I offered to pay but she insisted. The service by the bartender was unacceptable. Please keep in mind that this is the fourth or fifth time this has happened in the past few months. They used to have great service. These people have left for other companies and the replacements are not up to par.

Place was packed when we got there, so understandingly there was a 20 min wait for a table. Once seated, though the tables on either side of us were being waited on, we sat there for 10-15 minutes when finally the manager came over, apologized for the wait and took our order. While eating out appetizer we finally got a server who was quite nice, but forgot my requested drink refill until the manager again asked if everything was made correctly (by now we had our food) and I asked him for a refill. We remained patient and understanding through the whole ordeal, as Ive been a server before. We were a bit surprised when there was no compensation given (drinks taken off our order, free dessert offered, etc) which would have been true customer service, but only thanked for our patience and sent on our way. We still left a tip, but only 10%. We do enjoy Red Robin, its food and atmosphere, and usually service, but this time it was severely lacking.

Ive always enjoyed red robin the food,the service. Until last night that is. My husband and 4 year old daughter went to eat around 5:45 last night. We waited 20 minutes to get a table. Thats normal. Im okay with that. There was some kind of school dance thing so there were more people than usual. We were seated by the hostess with menus . Our waitress came over to us 10 minutes later,took our order. Cool ,great. 15 we waited for our drinks. Then she seated a party of 4 next to us. 45 minutes go by no food for us. Im on my 2nd refill of coke. The party of 4 got their food! We were still waiting. Im a very patient person (to the point of being a push over in fact ) but by this time I was steaming mad. I told my husband wed wait another 10 minutes. 15 go by. Nothing. So. We got up and walked out. Itll be a long long time before I go to Red Robin again.

Nothing good at all this time. They have new gizmos at the tables that you can order from. ..Problem is that I wasnt informed of being charged for the games my daughter was excited to play. Should be done when seated. Just saying. Then the food I go twice a month with my kids. I Always get the California chicken burger. For over twenty years my favorite burger. Not today. Then ordered food Togo. Didnt get it. Wasnt ordered. When our server Charles realized that we were done finally after waiting a good 15 min. Came and asked how I was paying and did I need Togo container . Told him paying with card said to do with machine now on all tables. So I did and left. No tip no food to go and not going back. And charged 1.99 for the game my daughter played and wasnt informed of this.

They were super strict about giving us one basket of fries at a time even tho we ordered two meals that have endless fries. Thats all okay if you take someone that eats like a bird. My fiance is tall and skinny, he can EAT, after letting our server know how I expect service, she was still shiesty with it. And she loudly questioned us about our intentions with the drink order. I wanted a water and he a bottomless orange cream soda, she then proceeded to very loudly explain that if I had intent on drinking his, shed have to charge us for two! I couldnt believe the level of service from our waitress! Thank god tip is based upon quality of service, shes lucky I left one at all for her! Wont be going to this RR again sadly.

Our first time eating at a Red Robin. Food was pretty good, though I dont know why they call it bottomless fries when our waiter Araon, he never came back once to check on us. No bottomless drinks or fries. I asked for steamed broccoli instead of fries, still got fries. I was disappointed with service from server because Ive been too restaurants which were busier and better service than here. They seemed to be staffed adequately. Maybe our server was just slow. Not sure if I would go back to this Red Robin. If I were to visit Red Robin again it would only be because the burger was great and bill was reasonable. Appetizer was pretty small to be 7.00. You dont get enough chips for the queso dip (and it was good)

Had a wedding rehearsal party of 25 that turned into 30+. Ken the general manager and her staff were wonderful. They communicated very well, timely and often without about their plans. TheThe got us in and seated together in short order. The servers were fantastic and very on top of our orders and taking care of us. We called another establishment near by and they were less than accommodating. Like I said Ken and his staff were fantastic. They were even able to accommodate us during the peak dinner hour. I would highly recommend them. I would give a shout out to the servers, but I do t remember heir names.
