Humdinger. For over a decade running, the best burger Ive had within 3-4 miles of this place. Their other ones are just as good, but I love mushrooms and Swiss so I stick with what I like. Seriously underrated restaurant, a hidden gem among the remnants of Leona Helmsleys Park Merced paradise. I hate spectator sports but will gladly endure them and even pretend to root for one team or another just to eat one of their delicious burgers at their squat little tables. Fries are icing on the cake, awesome companion to your patty. When youre done here, the bar next door has a great selection of beers if the good ones here didnt already sufficiently inebriate you.

Total hidden gem. Sports bar-ish joint that serves great burgers. Dont expect anything fancy, just solid burgers served by friendly people. This burger joint is located in a strip mall so there is free parking. The restaurant itself is small but its never impossible to get a seat. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are generous. Burgers do come with fries and the fries are real good. For non-beef eaters like my gf, they do have turkey burgers. And she is crazy about the ones they make here. My fave is the humdinger -- sauteed onions, mushrooms and swiss. One more thing, they do give free refills on soda. Whats not to like?

I live near by and have eaten at Hall of Flame many times always to my satisfaction. On Thursday, May 30, 2013 I went in for lunch with my girlfriend and our burgers were just awful. Both burgers were undercooked and the grease had soaked through the buns by the time we received our order. She couldnt even finish her meal because it was so bad. Also, on that day we only got about half of the fries we normally get when we eat there. It was a really bad experience and terribly disappointing from a restaurant I had considered one of my favorites.

I have tried the regulars burgers, but they Veggie Burger is pretty good, plus they serve you a bunch of fries which is always good in my book, Their shakes are also great, you gotta try the oreo one. The owner, or manager not sure, but he is the one in charge is really nice and most of their employees give great costumer service, most of them.

Ive been going out of my way (way out of my way) to come here because I always get a great burger (The Humdinger) and proper pint, or two, of Lagunitas IPA. The guys who work here are always on their game and speaking of game its a good place to watch the Giants while youre eating!

I had their cheeseburger with all the fixings. It was very good. The onion rings came out just the way I like them, crispy and hot. I like the fact that they have multiple TVs for sports games or ESPN. Its also a great place to get take out. Overall a great experience.

I was craving for a good burger place! I found this place last week. I was so stressed out for my calculus final, but this place satisfy my crave and boost my energy to study! SO GREAT! SO AMAZING! I got the Humdinger!!! I cant wait to try their other burgers!
