At long last weve found our Thai restaurant. So many others have been disappointing, whether they were dirty, or the food just was lacking, but not Golden Teak. The atmosphere is calm, the restaurant is clean, and the food is good. Five stars so far. Addendum: Our 2nd visit did not turn out as nice. I ordered the papaya salad, which was supposed to come with prawns. It came with two normal sized shrimp, not prawns, and cost $10, which seemed steep for a bunch of greens and two shrimp. I sent it back and ordered Pad Thai. This apparently was quite the insult to the chef, who then proceeded to complain loudly from the kitchen that if I had wanted more shrimp I should have ordered more. She then fled the kitchen in a huff. Because of this we will not be returning.

Food was good, but it would have been much better if it had been hot. Restaurant was cold - every patron was wearing their winter coats at their tables. Plates and teacups were COLD- like theyd been in the refrigerator. Waiter needs to find a different job where he doesnt have to interact with people. Considering the usual quality of the food this was a huge disappointment this evening.

Fantastic little spot when you are in a mood for Thai food. For some its all the time. For me Im more of a fan of the pho joints. Still I do like this place as its close to home and tastes great. Price per portion on the other hand kinda holds it back for me as a 5 star rating. I dont need to pig out but other places usually have a decent serving worth what you pay.

Wonderful atmosphere, INCREDIBLE food! The food was scrumptious and fresh, we couldnt even identify some of the seasoning in the Tom Yum soup. I had the Garlic Delight with Chicken, the best dish ever. The menu is sort of a Thai Chinese fusion. Dont miss out on this restaurant, seriously the best food I have had in many years and I eat out a lot.

Food was really nasty my man had the Thai fried rice and that was soggy and had no flavor to it then I had red curry without meat and on the gang they gave me warmed up coconut milk with some weak ass spices the employees were very unpleasant and I will never be coming here again.

This place is incredible. Ive tried 4 or 5 dishes and they have all been amazing quality. The food is so ridiculously satisfying, but on a deeper level. Not just my stomach, but my soul has also been fulfilled. But really. Try the papaya salad and the green curry.

This place has tasty food! The phad thai was especially good. Some places go overboard with the bean sprouts, but this had ample noodles and chicken. The only drawback was the fried spring rolls. Taste was there, but the portion seemed small for the price.

We had the orange chicken, crab rangoon, pineapple curry with chicken, and two thai iced teas. Everything was amazing and they even brought out a complimentary lemonade for our little one. Great relaxed atmosphere and clean restaurant. Highly recommend!

Saw this place when I was last at Minjis, decided to give it a try. Glad I made the call. Fast service, nice décor, and great food. Ill definitely be going back soon. The Golden Teak is up with the Wild Orchid as far as quality of food.

Kind of hidden and small but inside its very a clean and peaceful environment. Staff were awesome and food was great. We had the coconut prawns and phad Thai with chicken. They bring you the check with a bowl of fruit. Def recommend

We enjoy this restaurant for their curry dishes. Quiet place with attentive service. They also have a very reasonable wine list and of course Thai beer. We have even ordered for a a dinner party of 12 and used it as a take out.

They are extremely skimpy on seafood dishes, and too rice! The food was not tasty either. I should have known because when I walked in I was the only patron. That should have been a sign to not eat there!

Thus far Ive tried Phad Thai, Phad See Ew, Rama Noodles, Phad Woon Sen, Larb Gai, Pineapple curry, Red Curry and just about all of their appetizers. 10/10 will eat all of the above again.
