This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Poulsbo, but some pretty major changes have been made recently, and it seems like the quality of the food has suffered. I came in today for an order of the avocado fries, only to find that those had been stricken from the menu (my waitress helpfully explained some of the additional changes that have been made). As a second choice, I ordered the Smash Burger with garlic parm fries, something I have ordered many times before. What was given to me was completely unfamiliar - a sad, flat, completely overcooked patty that extended about an inch and a half beyond the bun, covered in massive hunks of pickle (rather than the finely chopped pickles of the past), and thin, watery sauce that dribbled down the burger rather than stay on it. The fries themselves were even worse, with about half of the serving near burnt, and the other half limp and pale (two were still cold in the center). The garlic on the fries came in the form of whole cloves, also burnt, and the tiniest amount of Parmesan was sprinkled on, in a single lump that covered three fries. This was a supremely disappointing meal.

Arrived for lunch with a friend. Light lunch crowd. Waitress got the order wrong. Arrived at the table with one half of our meal order and the appetizer. The re-ordered the other half of our lunch. It took 45 minutes to arrive and then arrived burned - couldnt believe they could burn a French Dip but they did. Also couldnt believe theyd bring the appetizer at the same time they brought the main meal. People were leaving because they couldnt get the teenage wait staff to stop interacting long enough to wait on the patrons. If the owners want to stay in business they better get serious about the quality of their wait staff (Whiskey Creek Poulsbo had the same problem and now they are out of business). We ate here right after the Loft first opened when the owner/operator was on site and the food and service were excellent. It has since gone down hill.

Was staying near Poulsbo and stopped by this place for dinner. First walking into the resturaunt was a little weird, there were two girls standing behind a table greeting people as they came in, it looked more like they were trying to sell something or give free samples, which they werent doing. We sat inside because the girls said that all of the umbrellas on the outside patio were broken and it was going to be hot. The service was ok, kind of slow, but the food seemed to be pretty good. I ordered the Jalapeno burger and that was very good. The menu was very expensive for what was offered. It was about 2x more expensive than it should have been. It did have a nice view though. I dont know if I would go back to this restaurant or not the next time I am in Poulsbo.

This was probably the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. First off we had an 11 month old baby who needed a high chair... there werent any available when we were seated so we said we would hold him while we waited for one. They didnt bring one over until after we had our food even though two had freed up in that time. Their clams and desserts were pretty good but the rest of the food was awful. They didnt have any vegetable or fruit options for babies. When they came around to light the candles the hostess set it down within reaching distance of the baby and we werent quick enough to grab it so he burned himself. Way overpriced. Not at all worth it.

Extremely rude. Immediately after being seated at 9pm I was accosted by the manager sitting at the bar, with her refusing to serve me because of "dilated eyes" and her "belief that I was under the influence". This was obviously an unfounded witch hunt based on an unfactual observation regarding my physical appearance (I was stone cold sober but was wearing typical working class attire, camouflage hunting boots). Obviously this establishment caters only to "a certain type of clientele" and I chose to take my business elsewhere; stay away if you value a comfortable dining atmosphere and a lack of moral judgements predicated on appearance...

ive only been here a few times, the first time was amazing, quick service, great food! Second time was the 3rd of july so understandably very busy but even so were very quick and everything was amazing as well. this last weekend we went again, I love eating on the patio and it was beautiful day. Our waiter was super friendly and nice as always, but it seemed to take forever to get our food, and when we did my steak in my taco tasted off, kind of fishy, and low and behold 4 days later I am still horribly sick and still cant keep anything down!! I am so sad because I loved this place and I am too scared to go back!!:(

For a place that promotes fresh food from scratch, our childrens Kraft mac and cheese was pretty disappointing. At least we knew the TreeTop juice boxes were 100% juice. The food wasnt the worst, although the fries tasted like they were cooked in really old grease. Our waitress was relatively nice. It was confusing when we entered. Without a hostess there to great us, we werent sure if it was a seat-yourself place. When we tried to seat ourselves, the waitresses seemed very put off by that. The view wasnt bad, but everything else considered, we wont be returning.

Went for lunch on a Friday. Ate halibut tacos (appetizer) and chicken bacon avocado sandwhich with parmasean & garlic fries. Service was good, plating was above average, taste was mixed. The fish tacos were filled with halibut, but all I could taste was the fresh pico de gallo, personally a sauce with zing would have been desired. The sandwhich was delicious, and the fries were tasty! Atmosphere was on par for the vintage harbor look and feel. View of the harbor was amazing! Price was higher than expected. I would consider a 4 star review if the prices had been lower.

The store employees misrepresented the ongoing promotion, as customers called prior to the drive. We are customers from out of town. After waiting ample time to speak with the first "manager/server", and no consideration given, we requested the "manager". Both employees provided no consideration, on a supposed "policy" despite their employees error. I offered a reasonable solution(s) and were told no latitude would be given. Well, no money will be given, Ill vote with my money, my reviews, and my word of mouth advisement. Terrible customer service!

good food, reasonable prices, excellent service. sherman did an amazing job and was very attenative. we had our children with us(2 and 6) and the patio was great for them to be able to move around on and eat. the view was probably the best on the bay as far as restaurants in the area are concerned. we all got meals, shared an app. and my wife and i had 3 drinks and payed less than $90 including a 20% tip. if your in the area its a great place to have a delicious dinner with a wonderful atmosphere.

I went there with 4 friends. Adults. My friends own waterfront property in town. I had a club soda in hand when I walked in and sat it on the table. The waitress made a stink because she thought it was a cocktail. She insisted I drink it right in front of her in one gulp but instead, she grabbed it from me like I was a convicted felon who escaped and had toxic chemicals on my person. You people need to lighten the F up. And your servers are snots. Our bill was over $100 so take a chill pill.
