I got take out. Ive never done this before but the food was SO bad I actually drove the 20 minutes to return it! When I ordered and paid for the food I not only tipped 25% (I know how hard it can be getting take out together) but also contributed to the tip jar for "the cooks" even though the kids running the place were less than friendly. When I got home there were no chopsticks, no soy sauce, no fortune cookies. These are basics you can get from the most random and tiny Chinese places and the reason I tipped so well. Im left to wonder if you can even get them in house. So- the food was terrible. The fried rice was actually white rice with some peas and carrots thrown in. Since they didnt give me any soy sauce it was inedible to anyones standards. The Beef Broccoli had to be left over from lunch. The broccoli literally desintegrated when I tried to serve it and the meat was slimy. The Mu Shu was flavorless, no mushrooms, and again- the meat was slimy. The Plum Sauce they threw in was less than a teaspoon. When we returned the food... We didnt get any kind of an apology- just a big fat argument! This arrogant jerk actually tried to stand by his food and then accused me of not returning it all! I returned every last bit so unless they didnt give us something...? He even had the audacity to say that he had a full restaurant and everyone loved his food... There were 15 tables total. 9 of them empty. Really? Is that full? Even worse- when I asked for a refund.. I WAS DENIED! He refused to refund my money for a less than sub standard product! Are you kidding me??? Take my advice- just because its the only Chinese place on the island DO NOT succumb to your cravings! You will be sorely disappointed! This is mediocre at best and a complete rip off. The only asian restaurant I have ever ordered from that does not serve rice with teriayki chicken. So after a 25 minute ride home to find out I have to make my own rice is beyond irritating. No apologies. When I placed the take out order they should have said they do not serve it with rice. Never will I go to this over priced estasblishment again.

Customer for life, this food is simply fantastic and I cannot get enough, I am very satisfied with almost every meal, except one time the Sweet&Sour pork was dry so now I walk across the street and buy a length of cured pork from thriftway and the rest of my dinner from The Green Ginger, hope they get a handle on that one thing... other then that usually the food is more then anyone could ask for!

I love to eat out or get take out here, its perfect American Chinese food. The service is always nice to talk with while waiting for my order to come when I get take out and they are also happy to help with anything when you eat in. If you havent been here yet, your missing out!
