For those who searched just on "Casa Bonita" based on South Park you will not find cliff divers or Black Barts cave. However, you will find a great restaurant in the heart of Vashon Island. While there is a sense that this place has been here for a long time, the food is rather good and fresh. The salsas, the first thing you get at a Mexican restaurant can either make or break your experience. Fortunately, the chips are fresh and the salsas are home made. I had fajitas and these also had a unique taste that left me wanting more. Finally I was surprised when I paid they actually are embracing he future with hand held credit card scanners...I didnt have to have my credit card out of my sight..bottom line, if you want a great dining experience I highly recommend Casa Bonita.

Casa Bonita is a lovely find in downtown Vashon. Its easy to miss, because its a block west of the main street. This family-owned Mexican restaurant is unpretentious, cozy and comfortable, the staff are always friendly, the food is good and reasonably priced, and they have a nice selection of beers and other drinks. Its where my wife and I most often have dinner when we are on Vashon Island.

Stumbled upon this little treasure off the beaten path on Vashon island! Everything we ate was delicious! Steak for burritos was so flavorful, as well as the chips n salsa and Cole slaw. Our server was super sweet, friendly and efficient!! We will come here every time we visit the island!

Pollo con mole was amazing! Open for lunch 11am Sunday, and there was no line. Great, friendly service. Huge table of food. Hot fajitas. 3 salsas for super good chips, seemed to be made from scratch. Cant wait to come back!
