Jamboree goes on a thinking spree
Service was friendly. The atmosphere esentric and the food even better. This place had its own personality and was definitely welcoming. The curry they have has an excellent flavor perfectly mixed and Consistent. I could eat the sauce as a soup. They also give you the option of pairing you curry with rice or noodles. I was impressed with the wide range if drinks they have. I settle on a rose tea, wich they served in a nifty little tea infuser that automatically separates the tea from the water at the push of a button. The little tea cup that comes with it was like a barbie salad bowl. Wich I would say was cute and convenient as far as maintain temperature of tea. It also allowed for sharing. Phayathai will make sure you cup never empties. "Literally." I will definitely come back.

Ive eaten at Phayathai two or three times, and every time I come in I am greeted warmly and acknowledged as a person(not like some other thai places in town where they just want to get you in and out as quickly as possible). The food is great and always looks fresh. Pretty much every time ive come in, I had a different dish, and every time I left full and satisfied. The prices are pretty reasonable, I think we spent around 40 for 3 people. Its kinda easy to miss off Lake City way, but I always look for the chinese restaurant across the street as a signpost. I wish they had a location or delivered to the Udistrict and I would eat there every day.

Excellent Thai restaurant. They do something many other "fake", Thai restaurants either dont have the time or the skill to do, they develop flavor without having to fake the flavor with too much of a sugary sauce or vinegars. All of their dishes have depth of flavors, including my favorite, Pad Kee Mao and Pad See ew. On top of the food, they are very fast at getting out the food with pretty good service too. I thought the "other thai" restaurant on lake city was not bad, until i tried Phayathai and was blown away how much better the food was.

My wife and I dropped in to this restaurant for the first time since we moved to the neighborhood, and we wish we had tried the place earlier. Like the other reviewer, we actually lived a half mile away for over six year before wandering in. When we did we found a great ambiance, really friendly servers, and a panang curry that was so good I was practically drinking it. Dont over commit on the spicy stars and you should have a great time.

Ive ordered takeout from here several times. The pad see ew is really good and the pad Thai was just okay. They have fast service - usually ready for pickup in under 15 minutes. Its been really quiet inside every time Ive been there. A little pricey for the portions but not too bad. They really need an online menu, though. Be careful pulling out of their parking lot - its a blind turn into a heavily used street.

The best Thai food in Seattle. Even more importantly, the best service at a Thai restaurant in Seattle. It seems its hip these days to ignore customers at the typical thai restaurant. But at Phayathai they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated. We love Phayathai! (p.s. below, it says I dislike those following items - that is a google glitch and I cant edit it. I love those things!).

Ordered takeout and was told itd be ready in 25 minutes. Got there in 30 and had to wait an additional 40 minutes! I understand they had a large order put in before mine but had I known the wait wouldve been over an hour I wouldnt have ordered. And after waiting there for 20mins I was told they where out of my appetizer. Only saving grace was the food. Very tasty! MIGHT go back..such a shame!

This place is an amazing hole in the wall restaurant. The food here is fantastic, the service is super fast, the people are nice. I recommend the currys. You will not have to worry about price or being hungry after. It is a great price and its not that its a lot of food its just such good quality your full by the time you finish the entree. My favorite Thai restaurant.

Every time I come here the food is great! The Phayathai Fried rice is excellent! The pineapple is a great mix with the rice. I also love the Phayathai Noodle which is a fried dish with skinny egg noodles. I havent seen this dish at any other Thai places. My only complaint with this place is that the service is very slow - even when it is almost empty.

SO DELICIOUS! I was nervous to try it but gave it a go, and was SO amazed. I took my boyfriend there the next night, and sure enough, he loved it as well. Try the Basil Chicken. Its seriously the best. My boyfriend and I are both pretty picky eaters, so youre sure to know this place is actually worth it.

I really enjoyed most everything I have had here. The only exceptions were the duck and the seafood. The curry has always been fantastic, as have the Pad Thai and the soups. Nice decor and very friendly staff. We have eaten here several times and will continue to do so.

Friendly and fast. We have enjoyed every dish we have tried off the menu, but it is hard to stray from the Phayathai fried rice and Pad-see-ew. Bonus points for a "40 minute delivery" coming on average at least 10 minutes early (probably helps that we live so close).

Im very picky about my Thai food. Its my favorite cuisine if its done properly. This is very very good Thai food with terrific service and price. The staff loved our 2 year old, played games with her and were very attentive and friendly. Cant wait to go back!

One of the best Thai experiences in Seattle. The food is great (green beans appetizer is epic), but the folks who run the place are the real treat. Great family-run place. You want this place to do well and fortunately their food lives up to the challenge.

We ordered for delivery "Roll ro jang" (spring rolls), massaman curry and phayathai fried rice. Service was fast and food was great. We recommend the curry, it was very very good! Edit: 4 years later, and this is still the best thai delivery in the area!

The portions were very small and the food was pretty plain for thai food. The vegetables were not traditional asian or thai vegetables and the fried tofu was pre-packaged. I would not eat here again. Overpriced and undergood.

This is a hidden gem. The Thai green bean appetizer is really good. We also love their green curry chicken, Thai basil shrimp and Pad tai. It is easy to miss this place as you drive by, but it is worth stopping for.
