My trip to the 663 Bistro -- I was driving home from work when I received a phone call from my wife. Being on Beacon Hill at the time, it was easy to pull over and take the call. My 24 year old son was visiting and she wanted me to pick up Chinese food on my way home. The request was a little unusual because my wife usually dises Chinese as too greasy. My Son is a professional chef and he hangs with some serious gourmands, he had recommended the 663 Bistro on Weller. He and his friends love the place. He recommended the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings. Well when I walked in I was a little surprised by the utilitarian entry, it was more like a storage room, boxes piled high no thought for decor. It was early so the bistro was mostly empty, but the people who were there were all speaking Chinese, as was the staff. I eventually walk through the entry to the main room and a very friendly maitre d at the large counter ask if she could help me. I ordered Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings, Roasted Pork and sauteed pea vines in garlic sauce. About the Wings, they were the best chicken wings I have ever had. I am going back here with my friends as soon as I can find the time and the spare cash. Food - 5 Star, Price - Moderate.

This place has taken a turn for the worse. It went from being surprisingly decent to awful in the span of two weeks. Service is horrible (we had to track down a server and waited at the empty counter for five minutes to pay), cockroaches on the floor and just a general lackadaisical sense of not having any pride in the product. Everyone is too busy watching TV. The roasted pork was 90% fat (at least the skin was nice), the char siu was dry, the duck was all bones (and leftover from the day before), the beans were undercooked and underseasoned. Nothing was good. It was absolutely awful. The last two times I went, the food was much nicer. The duck was much better and I wasnt served a pile of bones. Dont bother.

The waitress was the rudest person i have ever ordered from. I asked a simple question about the bbq case and she argued with me for 5 minutes rather than take 30 seconds to focus on what i was asking and answer me. Every time i eat here i observe her giving someone rude service and acting like shes above everyone. The only reason i keep eating here is that the food is great and its open till like 2am everyday. Just avoid the waitress that works past 10pm and has a lip piercing, shes the incredibly rude one.

The spicy chicken wings here shut the fried chicken game down! I took a friend’s tip and damnnnnnn did it pan out. These wings are spicy, garlicy, a lil salt, and some jalapenos. Excellet with rice. A freakin deal at $6. Each order comes with about 9-10, depending on your appetite more could be recommended. I also usually get the Singapore noodles (bbq pork) cause of my love for curry (good but not the best). This is definitely a top 5 fried chicken spot in Seattle and the #1 fried chicken Chinatown.

The food was good, but the waitress was the rudest person Ive ever had at a restaurant!! Im literally leaving the restaurant right now. And for me to leave a review, is because something major happened.. I asked her what my Super House Rice had, and she answered me so I ordered it.. Then my friend said that he wanted the same thing and she argued with us, that he should get something else! Because I was getting the same thing... She was telling us to hurry up and order the food because she was busy!!!

Zero star. One of the worst restaurant Ive ever visited on the whole earth. Servants took twenty minutes to clean up a table and another ten minutes to seat customers. Then another entire hour for a bowl of congee to arrive. This place is undoubtedly horrible AF. Please go to Honey Court restaurant across the street, where the service and food are both way better.

Best noodles ever - ordered chow main noodles with BBQ pork. We also ordered the stir fried chicken with cashew nuts, and house special fried rice. Rice was great. The veggies in the stir fry were super fresh and the chicken was also. The sauce on the stir fry was 10 out of 10. the Bbq pork here is amazing. You want some. You know you do.

I was sad when I went by tonight and they we closed. But phew!, it was only for the day. 663 is one of the most authentic Cantonese restaurants in the area. Many single-dish meals fill the menu, just like youd find in the small eateries that dot Hong Kong. When I want my Cantonese fix, I go to 663.

Food quality is mediocre. It used to be great. If you pay close attention, the dishes taste have a similar taste, which is quite disappointing. The rice quality is fairly poor when compared to other Chinese restaurants. The prices are fair for the food though.

Solid place for a quick bite to eat. The noodles were firm and the broth was light and flavorful. The BBQ pork in our soup was a lttle dry and lean, but still very tasty. Service was quick and friendly. I would visit again the next time I am in the area.

Absolutely amazing food ... one of the best places in Chinatown. You simply cant ignore the good size portions and their excellent prices. I loved the roasted pork and the seafood noodles, but Ive also tried the Mongolian beef which was pretty good too.

I dont normally leave bad reviews for restaurants, but good God. I ordered some beef and broccoli over rice and it was awful. Im not a picky eater, and I couldnt even take more than two bites. Dont waste your money.

Fantastic food and really inexpensive. I had a full meal for 6 and it was under a 100. We ate like kings and had left overs. Not that big of a restaurant but really good food and take out as well.

So far the best and most authentic Cantonese style food Ive found. Big portions, fresh ingredients, and good selection. Best part is its significantly cheaper than comparable places!

Love this place. This is our usual weekend lunch place of choice. Fresh BBQ pork. Excellent fish congee. Superb Hong Kong cold milk tea. Would highly recommend!

So good!! The staff is great, and the food is amazing. I absolutely love their Peking Duck, but every time I go I thoroughly enjoy what I get.

I love their food but the service SUCKS! Id give a zero if I could. There are much better Chinese and Cantonese restaurants in the area.

Hit or miss. Ive had some stomach issues eating here at times. Not usually busy when other places are packed.
